Fursuit is Awhn!
General | Posted 10 years agoOh man am I excited, my husband Snuggles got me a fur suit commission from Huskypaws. I am super happy as i was starting to think commission a suit was just going to be right out of reach for ever. I am going to have it likely by the end of Feb. Which is supper soon all things considered. I would really like to get some more art of Ahwn done soon too but I am kinda cursed when it comes to this. I find an artist I like and they have stopped taking commissions or worse after I commission an artists I wait longer than a year to get my art.. it is like a curse and has happened with artists that have good turnaround rates... well non the less I will continue to look for art.
RMFC 2014
General | Posted 11 years agoWell we made it through at the new hotel and I have to say I love it! There were learning opportunities and some hiccups for sure but nothing too big to handle. In truth it has me raring and ready to go for next Year. I have a goal to blow our attendees out of the water! I am tackling this next con with experience and knowledge and a theme that I can do something with. Sooooo excited! People really enjoyed themselves and liked what we had to offer. The Unmentionables my Improv group did a spectacular Job and we are going to perform at some local comedy clubs. So much exciting stuff! The Super Patron Gift for next year is going to be amazing.
Well run me through with a Foam Sword!
General | Posted 12 years agoSo Eric and I have gone full tilt into both this Amtgard thing and now Alliance Denver. If you are not familiar they are LARPs Live Action Role Playing games. Super fun Amtgard is like fighter practice with some really fun objective based combat games where you get to be a class and have some cool abilities to use. Alliance is similar in some ways but it also has a heavy amount of story and you choose a race with costuming and you also have a class, it is a persistent world and you role play. Alliance meets less often only once a month but it is all weekend up in the mountains. This is all like crack to me it is so fun. I have been making costume pieces for Myself my roommate Ray, my boyfriend Eric and our friend Klan... and I have to do this before the 13th! Ahhhhh! Well things are running smoothly at least for now.

General | Posted 12 years agoSo first year as Event's Director for Rocky Mountain fur con. Things went surprisingly well I also had a kick ass staff so that helped a TON. People are super happy about the turn out we broke 1000 this year so that is also super cool. Opaque Fox was there and we are offering some pretty cool shirts so those are something to look forward to seeing on the site at https://www.Opaquefox.com. Things are looking up both in business and in my personal life stress feel like it is at an all time low and home is harmonious. I will be staying on as Director for 2014 and hope to make it an even better con this this years. Which was toted as Best Colorado Con YET!
Furlandia Protland Oragan BY CAR!- How can that be?
General | Posted 12 years agoHome again home again, jiggety-jig. Well back from Furlandia, Portland! So, first off let me say DRIVING SUCKS! I sincerely mean it, my employee and myself made it there and back safely... Sure but, I really don't look forward to a trip like that again. looking for ground alternatives to shipping my business to every Con across this great land of ours. I wish we could fly it would be so much cheaper but my machine would probably end up in little pieces. I assure you it is far too expensive a device to let that happen to it. Furlandia was pleasant enough hosted in the secluded University Place Hotel in downtown Portland. Very cool to be so close to downtown I took my time and got a chance to see a bit of the city and OH LORDY what a beauty! Quiet for a major city but plenty of stuff going on that's for sure. The people of Furlandia were great I met some great folks, and really wish I could have hung out more. The Con ran with the hiccups that most first year cons do and I sincerely hope that they continue to grow! It was a first run for us too and I have to say that all things considered things went smoothly for the most part. I learned quiet a bit about packing the car and noted some things I should get for next time. We stopped half way up and arrived early by a day so not great thinking on my part rooms are expensive but to make up for that we drove the way back in shifts all in one go... Yay Energy drinks. Helped out the Con with a couple of merchandise Donations and bartered a deal for some add space next year so that is always good.
3 years!!!!! WOW, Some Fu@%ing Long time has past!
General | Posted 13 years agoI have this huge tendency to allow myself to forget to have an online presence. I totally don't mean to I just really get caught up in all my wonderful off line duties. Life has been great what can I say. I am still with Snuggles, and he is still the love of my life. We now have a lovely place in Westminster and have a wealth of wonderful friends. I am taking up the mantle of Director of Programming for R.M.F.C. this year and am pumped about really stepping it up this for 2013. I have got some great programming in mind and have been working with my Improv group the Unmentionables and we will also be returning. Hopefully I will also have my partial fursuits up for sale soon and all the pieces will have fallen into place, so far, so good.

A YEAR!!!!
General | Posted 17 years agoGreat googly moogly! Well I haven't posted in some time... like a year now... not that anyone other than imaginary people read this... I just wanted to say hey... I'm Still Alive... still alive...
Well I wish I could say things are great but they aren't, I have been trying to find work and that has not been going well. Other than that I have a new love of my life, you may know him as Snuggles.
He is really great and I love him lots we are doing pretty well as a couple I think. ^_^
Other than that I wanted to let people know that I am trying to get together folks for a Halloween event called “Carnaval” It is a sort of Dark Gothic Carnival theme there will be dancing, carney games, Prizes, a Fortune teller and lots of other fun things... I am still in the planning stages so if you are interested in helping please contact me.

Rocky Mountain FurCon
General | Posted 18 years agoWell, it was a great weekend but I am glad it is over.
The Furcon is over and it went surprisingly well. I even got my boyfriend to go on the last day ^_^
I was the Operations Director fot the event and I am really proud of the work that was done everyone really gave their all. Finally it has happened and really the only p[lace to go from here is up!
I am going to be planning some sub events for those that are still local to the area and hopefully this will go far in the way of keeping all those interested in making the con an even better experience next year well informed.
TOD WILLS was one of the highlights of the Con as far as I am concerned; relatively unknown as an artist, the speed and beauty with which the badges were produced was well appreciated by many of the congers
See Tod’s work at https://www.ninjahijinx.com
Also Art Slave was there and she was a god send as far as directing our Fur suite construction panels, her insight and guidance and assistance as a volunteer was also much appreciated.
Time to relax and start drawing/writting

Relearning to Breath
General | Posted 18 years agoSo I am trying to return to drawing in a more religious fashion. My work has really degraded and will only develop if I work to develop it. So, I really need to start learning how to really really color... I am very interested in starting to work with Marker I really like a lot of the end results with this medium... I am also going to try my hand at some photoshop color CG... If anyone knows good guides for either online or books I could pick up let me know.
