Christmas Comic Project Notice [NSFW]
General | Posted 11 years agoThought I'd throw an update journal hereeeee for you all
Since not everyone follows me on my NSFW account.
I have started a NSFW comic that is christmas based.
It has the possibility of becoming a three set series but is entirely crowd funded.
The first series will be entirely done in inks for certain.
However the each page can be funded to have colour!
At the end, I will be possibly starting on the next series.
Details for that will be announced when that time comes.
Release schedule is a little weird right now due to holiday next week.
But the next batch will be another set of three pages.
Currently there are three out right now!

I was up at my parents working on my broken car (yay) and i dipped into my room to nab some stuff to take home with me.

I am currently contacting people about the following week for temp work
HOWEVER
IF I have open time I will be taking on ONE commission.
Human, furry, cute, nsfw, whatever
This is entirely dependent on getting all of the freebies done (total of 4) and having time to take on another.
I won't be taking it on if I feel like i won't be able to finish it in time.
So keep that in mind.

I thought I was having an anxiety attack at point
I know I got through it and I tried the best ever.
I tried to be confident and strong and just power through it.
I still ended up crying at one point and I feel like I failed.
Maybe like I'm not good enough for this. Like maybe I'll never be able to get fanatic at a job and keep it.
I already feel like he won't hire me in permanently.
But it was just the first day.

Streamin Friday roughly around 10pm(edit: maybe earlier but I forgot that I'm having dinner with my nana). By then I should have either finished or started on the above.
During the stream I will be taking names to go on a sketch list.

As you know, my sketches are usually very clean and rather pretty.
I tend to put too much effort into them. So, that's a bit of incentive.

Personal update
Hehe so
I never did that journal
Life has been really crazy busy in that good way.
I had this huge scare cause I had my internet bill paid late.
I didn't have enough cash at the time in my primary bank
had to go get some from another bank and transfer it
but it was still late and dues were charged.
It also put me hella back when it came to my savings for rent.
Good news? well I've been doing part time gigs which is really nice and has paid for the gas I need to get not only to work but also to all these interviews.
I have gone to a ton and well, no one was biting. Everyone said I was great but that they just wanted someone with more experience.
*sigh*
But so, I don't wanna ruin my luck, but I got an offer this week!
It's a receptionist position and I'm really really excited. It's super early hours and not at all like my current life schedule.
But I need and want that money. So, I'm all for it I guess.
It has been a little over a day and I haven't heard from my recruiter about when I'll be starting so I'm hoping she will contact me tomorrow (or else I'll call her).
Hopefully this means really good news guys.
I have been so stressed and sad and I'm gonna cry cause I'm just so excited about this job.
I will be so relieved when I know for sure when I'll be starting.
But yhea. That's my life right now for those who are interested. I'm working hard, just like every other artist on here, to keep afloat and a big thank you to everyone who has helped me by commissioning me and referring me to people.
In other news, once I get my job schedule sorted out I will be opening commissions for about a month or two in order to hurry up that period of paying debts and also to help save up for christmas funds (Can't believe that is so close geeze). So feel free to keep that in mind if you have a bigger piece you'd like to get at somepoint. I can't assure you as to what the prices will be (I'll be redoing my current pricing tiers before opening) and I am not sure how many slots I will be taking on at a time.

My goal for this week is to reach a net of $200 so that I can secure a new computer I am buying from a friend.
It is costing me $450 total so I'd like to pay it off as quickly as I can so I can get it set up and start working on better art!
(Yes, this will be my new art machine. It's much better than the one I am currently using so the upgrade would be very very nice.)
