HOWEVER i wanted to scream that my feet hurt and we still don’t know why.
it’s like im always walking on legos. it sucks even when i dont walk they hurt.

i’m 250 pounds which is 100 pounds less than 2 years ago but 10 pounds more than last month.

the stress from living in the house of a trump supporter while being queer has me stress eating and ruining my whole weight loss work.
i’m tired and scared and sick.

still in school though but getting in debt more and more cause fighting for disability is an uphill battle. i’m mentally fucked.

still pushing forward tho. traded art for the plague doctor mimic squishable cause it was a neck mouth like Mazz. that brings me a little joy and something to look forward to getting here.

i went to my 30 day post op for my sinus surgery yesterday.
it’s healing great and i don’t have to go get looked at again for 3 months. they said i’ll still be swollen for a few months so i’ll feel a bit stuffy and have sinus crusties but that’s all normal. :)

i’m allowed to blow my nose again, just only gently for the next few months

The semester started back up so i’m back in classes. just 2 of them and they are online. my adult kid has classes on campus so i spend my days at the college working on my online classes while they are in school.

my sinuses are healing great. i see my doctor again on the 30th.

sinus surgery August 1st.
i won’t be allowed to blow my nose for 2 weeks after surgery.
my sinuses are always clogged and crusty so that sound awful.

this will hopefully fix my sinus and breathing issues that i’ve been dealing with my whole damn adult life.

please note we will be staying outside the con hotel so i won’t be there 100% of the time. i will hopefully have my wheelchair so i can enjoy the con safely. a reminder please do not push me without asking. i will have a sign on my chair as well to remind people of this.

After over 3 years of fighting for disability being denied twice, going to the judge and being denied again and appealing i got denied AGAIN (i went to court in June and it took them this long to deny my appeal from the judge saying no in October).

so my lawyer and i are dropping my case and then refiling for disability. this means i will lose all my backpay for how long i’ve been fighting and starting over but we can add new health issues like my neuropathy in my feet and im going to be having my doctor add my obvious carpel tunnel to my file so there is more on my side. there’s also a 6 out of 7 chance i’ll get a different judge if i have to go to court for it again and my lawyer thinks that will be good too cause the judge i did get is the hardest and she barely ever approves cases.

the government would rather i end up homeless and die then help me, an obviously disabled person.
i’m tired but here we go again starting the fight all over just to try to survive.

Gastric bypass date is set. August 15th!

Only taking 2 classes this coming semester. Intro to sociology and children’s lit. my surgery is the 15th of August and classes start the 21st.
with the physical and mental/emotional healing i’ll be going through i don’t want to overdo it and screw myself so… part time, 2 classes.

I met my surgeon for the gastric bypass today. I already did the 6 months of losing weight and weigh ins. I have to do a sleep study and a psychiatric appointment. They said if we can get these appointments done quickly I can have surgery as soon as July.
It feels so real now that I have a surgeon.

I’m nervous af not gonna lie. I am confident in my surgeons skill and he said I’m definitely a great candidate for the surgery with realistic expectations.
I’ve been in a support group for about a year for people who have had a bypass or are hoping to get one and they’re honest about the shit that sucks after getting one.

Having it done by the end of summer is really what I wanted so it doesn’t effect college classes this fall
