First off, thank you everyone for your help last week! Got the kennel I needed with some funds to spare, so I could set Moon up with some toys and treats too and he's one happy doggo.

Now that that's mostly settled and I can breathe again, I realize I've gotten pretty quiet over the past few weeks and my goal is to refocus my energy on posting more frequently and sharing things like commission WIPs, sketches, tutorials, and the like. To do that, I'll mostly be using tumblr and (hopefully) twitter. Not quite sure how that's gonna go, but I'd like to branch out a bit and twitter makes sharing doodles a breeze, so I'm gonna give it a shot!

Hey guys! I'm really bad about sharing what's going on in my personal life, so bear with me.

The other day my dog was trampled by a cow. He's doing alright! ( https://imgur.com/a/nTXgt ) Pretty sore, but appreciating all the extra attention and pets. Up until yesterday he was living with my folks on a lot of acreage and used to having lots of room to run, but after this incident I've decided it's safer for both my dog and the farm animals if I took him back to live in my apartment.

The one caveat is he doesn't cohabitate well with other animals without close supervision (namely my roommate's dog), so to keep them both safe and happy I'm looking to purchase a large outdoor kennel ASAP (something in the 10'x10' range would be ideal) so Moondog can still have the outdoor time he's used to and we aren't all on top of each other all the time in this tiny apartment.

I wasn't prepared for this expense at all, so to raise the funds as fast as possible, I've released a bunch of adopts that you can find here,

I'm sick, and also tired, and for some reason now seems like a mighty fine time to tackle one of my biggest hurdles as of late. I've wanted to make an art discord for some time, to better gauge what folks want to see from me as well as give back to you wonderful peeps supporting me with your views, so here we are! My first stab into the big scary unknown!

I've been looking into it for awhile now and I think I'm finally ready to get more serious about creating a patreon and setting aside content each month specifically for supporters.

Now I don't want this to become a paywall at all, because I love making my work freely available to everyone. However, I do have sketches, full resolution images, and few other things that never make it into my galleries and I think this is the kind of stuff I'd release to paying supporters.

I'd also like to incorporate more audience feedback into the projects I work on (think adoptables, pin ups, merch design, process videos, etc!) and I'm wondering if patreon exclusive polls would also be a good place to explore that?

If you have any ideas/input I'd love to hear it! What are some things that might encourage you to support me on patreon? What tier levels are you most attracted to?

If you have any experience on the creator side of patreon I'd love to hear from you too, so give me a shout! I'm just a crotchety old man terrified of new things, but boy do I try.

I just got back from the vet with a super disgruntled kitty, but her health checked out and I was able to afford all the tests and vaccines as well as a course of flea and worm meds to make doubly sure she gets started off on the right foot here. She'll have to go back in a month for a follow up shot to make sure her FIV vaccine is effective, but for right now she's comfy and healthy and I couldn't be more relieved!

Thank you all for making this possible! It feels great being able to help out a little critter in need and I'm really excited to see her personality develop now that she's in a safe place!

I've had an alarming string of folks lately either back out of commission slots last minute or straight up ignore my requests for payment after delivering a sketch, so I guess it's time for me to get a little stingier, unfortunately. I've updated my price sheet and TOS with what I hope is a lot clearer information than before, and I've changed my payment policy so that now payment is required upfront to reserve a space in my queue.
