Posted 12 years agoDue to some last minute con art that had to be finished, there are no dorra doodles this week.

Posted 12 years agoAs you've seen from today's posts, I'm working on animation templates.
Animation does take time, specially when you do it the right way (manually) so today's stuff will be carried over to next Monday.
So sorry bout that, I have been here a solid 12 hours and I can only output so much.

Dollar Doodle Day FAQ

What is it?
-It's my weekly training day, and this is my special account for those drawings.
-They will usually be on an exam sheet background when done in digital.
-You'd want to watch my main account for the streaming submission:
-The drawings cost $1 each.
-They may be in color or greyscale, traditional or digital, paper cutout of scratchboard, whatever I may be learning to use or attempting to better.
-They are effectively prototypes I must make more presentable before I can offer them as a commission option.
-Some rules apply of course, you can read those below.
Rules
-Drawings cost $1 each. You are always welcome to send a tip if you're real happy with my scratches.
-There is a limit per day of how many you can take, and there may be rollover to the next week due to workload. Limits also help prevent people getting greedy with them. Most days I can do 1-2 per person, again depending on what medium is being used and how many furs to serve.
-One character per drawing, there are no exceptions. With "experimental" artwork like this, the risk of botching your drawing increases with more furs on it. This limit is present for a reason.
-The artwork is always freeform. I will choose a pose I am less likely to botch in a new medium, or a pose I need to practice in familiar mediums. You do not choose the pose, you just give me your reference.
-No complaining, guilt tripping or generic whining IF your drawing does botch, although I will try my best not to do so. There is a reason these drawings are only $1 and the risk is there - they are for learning. Unfortunately this means learning from your mistakes a lot of the time.
-Do remember that the drawings are only $1, and 90% of the time you will get a decent quality artwork for it. Enjoy them for what they are, and make the experience pleasant for me too. I do not want to fight and fuss about $1.

Instead of sending a dollar every week for a picture, you have the option to order a subscription.
You can send an amount between $1 and $20 to the paypal electrocat[at]electrocat.co.za
Then you send the references for all the characters you would like drawn to the email adress subscriptions@electrocat.co.za.
Some rules apply to this arrangement.
- One character per drawing. Absolutely zero exceptions.
- 1 - 3 Doodles per week. It depends on the type of art I am working on and how many other furs to accomodate.
- Due to workload you may be skipped a week, again depending on the type of art being worked on and how many drawings to do.
- The drawings are always freeform. This means I choose the pose / expressions of your character for my training.
-I reserve the right to cancel your subscription and refund the balance should you cause trouble with the arrangement. At $1 per drawing there really isn't time for fussing and fighting.
-Remember, the drawings are only $1. Most artists will give you nothing for that, enjoy and appreciate them and thank you for helping me learn.
Ordering:
