My annual program and conference was selected to be featured in my university's research magazine for their next edition, which meant reviewing over 10 years of alumni and now finding out if they became researchers, scientists, entrepreneurs, etc.

I had to compile a data report going back five years for students in an accelerated pathway guaranteeing admission in medical school, because my university's average MCAT scores were lower than the national average. Accelerated pathway students were slightly higher than the national average (Only 4 points) but lower than the medical school's expectations, which meant having to develop a new MCAT prep course.

All courses in my department were full and instead of asking faculty if they will increase enrollment caps, they told all students to email me for overrides because I'm the only one in my entire college/department with that access. If I don't do overrides, some can be dismissed, lose their scholarships, federal work study, etc.

Many students trying to find scholarships, mentors, and paid opportunities are asking me for help. Since the federal government made so many cuts and are unpredictable with what exactly will remain active, I've been trying to help students find anything available whether on or off-campus with a new weekly newsletter. On the plus side, my two assistants were offered paid positions with higher salaries but actually wanted to still work with me.

Another team messed up with giving access to student volunteers in their supervisors' online portals with course information, so it's been back and forth with trying to correct this issue that's gone on for weeks.

Faculty requesting different classrooms, students with parents complaining why they were dismissed, financial aid revoked at the last minute due to changes made by the funder/sponsor, a new website that keeps requesting additional money to access all features...

Now, I can't even send emails through my work inbox because my email login is suspected of SPAM. I don't know if someone reported it as SPAM, I was hacked, or what anymore. I'm so exhausted and burnt out that I'm just laughing about it. If I can't access do anything with my employee account now, then I probably won't even go to my office tomorrow.

I noticed dialogue and the sequence of events in trailers did not match the final cut of this sequel. That's NOT bad. I don't think anything shown in trailers were cut for the final film.

Any future commissions with The Bad Guys could be modified after I saw the ending and also considering possible stories with a prospective 3rd film.

I was more sad with moments from the first film (Why Mr. Snake hates Birthdays) than this sequel. This sequel has moments that were dramatic and emotional; however, I also believe that shortened scenes with characters (Mr. Wolf and Mr. Snake didn't have many moments together in this sequel, yet they spent more time with other characters). There's a chance that some won't like specific moments in this sequel.

Now I wait and see how this sequel will do in the box office and lookout for news of a third film or tv series (If a 3rd film is not made, a tv series would be possible in place of it).

To all who sent me a note through here, messaged me in Discord, or emailed me; I am sorry for not responding to you sooner.

Why the delays? What's going on? Well, in a nutshell:

- My job added more stress with recent changes: Many grants were cut or frozen, many are afraid of coming to the campus after the university signed the plan allowing ICE or police acting on behalf of ICE to detain criminal aliens, two big donors are upset at my boss' boss for not agreeing with their wishes on a scholarship funded by them, and my department keeps going back and forth with how they want to change my program. I was also given a class to teach this Summer (At least it's fully online). Lately, my boss' boss has been sharing articles and held a meeting about AI (He seems to be in favor of some tools yet also seems afraid of being replaced by it). I'm trying to balance everything without losing sleep.

- Last week, I got out of bed and felt a very sharp excruciating pain in my lower back and almost fell (As though a ton of weight were crushing me). Eventually, I went to an Urgent Care Center a couple of days ago who gave me a couple of medications. Thankfully, my back is better. I feel pain in my back and leg from time to time as well as if I stand or walk for too long. If I'm not 100% better in six weeks, then they'll take an MRI and determine whether I need surgery.

- If anyone remembers the Lady Lashandra Avaritia YCH raffles...I did not receive enough responses in some to host one. I am still moving forward with the YCHs but won't select by raffle. Instead, all who submitted a form for each one will receive it. Those will be free for any who entered them, because I will pay for them. Where have I been and what am I doing?

I hosted my large-scale event that had over 300 presentations, and everyone said it was SUCCESSFUL! I had to get so many reviewers for each presentation. I had to transport nearly 100 easels, poster boards, signage, and boxes of name tags by myself from the third floor of my building down to the ballrooms on the first floor of another building by myself. Now I'm hoping for a raise and promotion as well as that my body will fully recuperate.

I also had to be at a recruitment event, which I wasn't sure whether was going to happen. Several programs funded by the federal government were canceled after the new executive orders. I've been concerned with a colleague whose job is at risk and students who may not be able to conduct research this Summer as well as how these changes impact their studies. I was there to help and let many know of resources still available.

I finished another recruitment event earlier today when I found out at the last minute a shuttle service for a group of students going to an out-of-state conference was canceled by the shuttle company. Even though I reserved vehicles and paid in full over a month ago for this group's trip on Sunday, the company cancels everything claiming that they actually do not have vehicles available but at least refunded the money. Several hours today was spent trying to find another shuttle company, which I did with help from my budget manager. However, I kept going back and forth with many in this group on why more shuttle rides aren't available, reimbursement for food, etc. My hands are tied when 'Current policies have maximum reimbursement amounts' and a 'Supervisor who said 'NO' to your requests'.

Yeah...I've read about the many changes from the U.S. Government that made their impact. Have these changes impacted me...yes. Has it stopped me from writing and ordering commissions? NO WAY!. As for rp'ing, I'm sorry if I haven't responded to you yet. I just need work at my job to be less right now (I still have over 1000 emails between three different inboxes to review).

Hello everyone! I just want to give a quick update about everything.

Job: Recently, the university where I work and teach has a new president appointed by the governor. This new president did not go through traditional methods of the selection process, and the former one was fired (I thought he retired at first). Now, I think the former one will help the new one, since the new one never ran a university (Doesn't even have a doctorate). For me, I really have no idea what will happen this year (Too many discussions on cuts, layoffs, etc.). Some other universities in the U.S. are experiencing hiring freezes with the changes in administration. Believe me, my concern of losing my job is NOTHING compared to what others are going through right now. Some are scared of going to prison (Undocumented, used specific words in grants now 'banned', etc.). I'm just doing what I can to help and not stress out or feel depressed with coworkers as well as boss' boss criticizing my work.

Comic commissions: Oh I'm still moving forward with my commissions and comics. Poll was a tie between "Want me to see me be SO GOOD at being SO BAD" and "All of the above". All I hope for is that no one thought I abandoned comics. I never wrote it was impossible to work on all at the same time. I just like surprising others.

I'll be as concise as possible with lack of responses and updates as of late on here, Discord, and everywhere online:

I'm back to planning for another conference (Promotion, Reviews, Recruit, Logistics, and everything to host a large-scale event) that will happen in less than three months (The same one that jeopardized my health last year). I haven't had the chance to promote heavily when I also had to at work:

1. Arrange travel, hotel, and registration for students selected to present at external conferences. Challenge is finding airfare, ground transportation, and hotels close to conferences while also buying registration tickets to stay within a budget. All was fine until I had been told the money that was 'guaranteed' may no longer exist. This is because a donor's wife was angry that their donation did not go towards their preferred cause as well as that my boss' boss never confirmed the selection process for recipients. I had to REMIND him several times that one existed, which I created, for years and was NEVER once told about the donor's wife's preferences. I also reminded him that 'You told me THIS was the budget, and I did NOT go over it, so stop yelling at me.'

2. Coworkers, boss, and boss' boss kept putting me 'center' of a 'blame game' on why my program's option did NOT ask for assignments or copy of final project completed for a separate course. Once again, I remind them that the assignments mean extra work for a volunteer faculty mentor who wants MONEY. I counter with, 'How can you justify paying a separate faculty mentor doing the same extra work, then say the other one gets diddly squat?!' Oh a copy of the final project in a separate course contains personally identifiable information of students NOT enrolled in my program, because they're NOT active in our college and would violate privacy laws.

3. I had to go through another round of the 'blame game' with everyone when a student claimed that I 'approved' a decision when I NEVER did and had to counter with my own written communication on public record as PROOF.

4. I also had to be told about the freezes and changes coming up with the current administration in the U.S. government. I even found out about a scrape of online content to remove specific words that are 'banned', will be 'banned' or were already 'banned'. How does this look from my position? For several YEARS (Over a decade)...it's been a wrestling match with tons of rematches between two sides for the championship of "You can say THIS but not THAT" and "You can say THIS but only when we say THAT" as well as "Whenever you want to say THIS and THAT, we have to tell you THIS and THAT FIRST".

5. I still have over 100 emails to go through with one Inbox...and I haven't even had the chance to review two more Inboxes assigned to me.

And there you go. Believe me, I would love to be SO MORE ACTIVE, but then everything at my job falls apart. I can prove that my college/department would NOT even exist if it weren't for ME!

Just know one fact - Coming on here and Discord makes me SO HAPPY! ^^

Recently, I saw a suggested video for a trailer of the animated film, The Lost Tiger from Australia. At first, I didn't expect much but was blown away after watching a kangaroo couple wrestle each other. It's about a tiger found and adopted by a kangaroo couple who are traveling wrestlers. The kangaroo couple raise their family to host wrestling shows, but the tiger is not good at it. They visit a museum and learn that the tiger is the last of his species from an island with mystical crystals. The tiger travels with a platypus to this island before villains known as the adventurer's guild find it, and the kangaroo family try to find the tiger. Based on the trailer, this will have pro wrestling and fight scenes with goons. Google search results showed a release date in Australia cinemas on February 26, and a U.S. cinema release date on February 27. Hopeful it shows in my area, because I really want to see the kangaroo couple's wrestling match. If you like the trailer, hope you get the chance to see it too.

I have about 9 hours left of 2024 in my area. 2024 has been quite the year:

- I traveled to several places - Jacksonville, Long Beach, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Chicago, Sweden, and Switzerland. I was able to finally see the Matterhorn. Although I don't ski, I liked the view. I lost count on the number of burgers that I ate in Sweden. They also had a burger festival while I was there. I also got to meet Mark Hamill in Chicago Fan Expo. I never thought I'd have the chance to meet him but am so grateful for the experience.

- My grandmother left this world, and my family hasn't been the same since she passed. This was the first holiday season that I didn't spend time with her or the whole family. I spent it with my mother and a family friend. My family friend thankfully found a job that pays well and offers benefits. Although my mother is still vain about appearances, we overall enjoyed each other's company.

- I also bought myself a new Macbook Pro with the latest features from Apple. Audio and display are AMAZING!

- My job hasn't exactly been as enjoyable as before, but I at least am happy when helping students achieve their goals. I am open to new opportunities.

- This was the year that my Mr. Wolf vs Mr. Snake comic commission ended, yet I always smile looking back at it. Although that ended, there's still time for more.

- I also want to dedicate more time in writing, especially with overdue works. That's definitely a New Year's resolution that I want to fulfill.

2025...I can expect a lot but anything can change. Personally, I'm going to cherish every second that I'm alive. I hope all of you know that this bat won't leave and will have more ideas to share on the world wide web.

It's been a while since I posted an update on here. Basically...

I had to focus on my health in the past few months. Blood pressure was high, I felt pain in my left arm, and had headaches more than often. I changed my diet and exercised more, then felt a lot better. My doctor didn't find anything wrong with the physical examination, and I never got a call with lab results. My doctor only calls when there's something wrong.

My computer went bust and had to buy a new one. I pretty much went with the latest MacBook Pro that has all the 'bells and whistles'.

Work was becoming stressful...even after my last event had over 107% increase in attendees and 67% in presenters (I can prove that to anyone)...my boss' boss kept imposing on how it could've been better and stressed out over how smaller events were going to steal the audience. I can't host so many large events where I have to do EVERYTHING (If any recall my post about the conference earlier this year), and colleagues only host smaller ones replicating mine to accommodate any who couldn't participate in it. It's always seen as 'never good enough' or 'others will be better'. I only stay for the pay but won't hesitate to accept an offer better than this one.

As for the commissions, I haven't forgotten them...I have more ideas...and this bat isn't going to fly away anytime soon.

If there's one thing that I want everyone to never forget from this journal, it's that this bat is going to work on new ideas, finish pending ideas, and will have everything uploaded with my stories in each one. I appreciate everyone's patience with me.

I hope everyone is enjoying tonight. I certainly am working with another of my favorite artists on a new comic book project. This project is SO BIG that we decided to split this in two parts and a mini-comic. Basically, what was planned as a comic book issue turned into a graphic novel on its own. I can confirm that the first part of this comic will be ready to upload by this Saturday (US Eastern Standard Time). Expect 23 pages this Saturday.

Why all 23 pages at once this Saturday? Well...I guess you can say it's a long overdue one. One that is a sequel to a 31 page comic from a couple of years ago. Since the 2nd part and mini-comic are not ready yet, I wanted everyone to at least see the first part when it was all finished.

Can I upload all 23 pages this Saturday on FurAffinity and X before the end of Saturday? As a favorite character of mine in this Saturday's comic would say,
