We're giving away 1 FREE registration (or upgrade) for Megaplex 2017, and 2 more spots on Megaplex's poster art where your own character can be featured! To be entered in the drawing, all you need to do is pick out a favorite photo from a past Megaplex and share it on our Facebook timeline, or post it on Twitter.
If you're posting to Facebook, be sure to post your photo to our Timeline. Posting to your own timeline does not count as an entry. If you're posting to Twitter, please mention MegaplexCon & #LoveMP2017. Increase your chances of winning by posting up to 5 unique photos of Megaplex! (This is 5 photos total, not 5 on each site)

Hotel updates and dealers den registration opening date

We hope that this new year is finding everyone well. Megaplex has been receiving lots of questions related to Dealers Den, convention space, and rooms. We want to keep all of our attendees and guests up to date on our new hotel, and the importance of making your hotel reservation early.
The new building is still slated to be completed before Megaplex 2017 begins. Things are going smoothly with the construction, but some details have made parts of our planning process occur later than normal. This has included the design and layout of the Dealers Den. But not to worry! The Dealers Den registration will be opening 12:00 AM ET February 1st, 2017. This year we have tables and Larger “Booth” areas.
There is one other major item to let everyone know about. Demand for hotel rooms has been much higher than anticipated. We have already exceeded last year's total room reservations! While this would normally not be a problem for a resort of this size, there are others planning vacations and such at the same time as Megaplex. The result is that the hotel is filling fast! So please do not delay. We are expanding the room block as much as possible, but we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have available rooms as the year progresses. As hard as this is to believe...the hotel has indicated that they will reach a SELLOUT status before spring! So please, if you are planning to attend Megaplex at our new resort venue, please reserve your room as soon as you can.

Do you love making music or mixing tracks? Maybe you just like to get a crowd pumped up with your beats. If so fill out a DJ application and host one of our dances.
Remember that for every hour of volunteer work at Megaplex (including hosting panels or events), we'll give you a $5 credit toward registration for Megaplex 2018.

If you snagged a ticket please read the information below for details on where to pick up your movie ticket along with some goodies.
--> To get your tickets please go to our table outside the theatre next to the box office ( look for orange Megaplex shirts ).
--> Please do not forget to bring your receipt and a valid ID so we can verify your ticket.
--> Do NOT throw your ticket stubs away!! You will need them for entry into the auditorium.
Tickets will be available for pickup from 2:50pm to 3:20pm

Megaplex Zootopia Viewing Sold Out - Thank You Message

Megaplex would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has signed up for the Megaplex presentation of the new Disney film, "Zootopia". We are very happy to be able to offer this screening, and would like to let everyone know that we have completely sold out the theater. Every single seat in our showing has been sold and is spoken for by Megaplex attendees.
Because there are no extra seats in the theater, the theater will be checking each ticket for entry to ensure that everyone who has purchased their ticket has a seat. There are no bad seats in this theater, it has been recently updated with leather lounging/reclining seats and super stadium seating. This is a really nice theater and we believe that Megaplex attendees will be truly pleased with this venue. We would like to remind attendees that while we have purchased all seats in the theater, there are other theaters at the Cinemark that will not have Megaplex attendees in them. Please be respectful of both the theater staff and others who are there to view other films and remember to act in an appropriate manner while at the theater.
We will be providing information for picking up the tickets for the screening soon. If anyone has mobility restrictions, please contact Megaplex in advance so that we can ensure that you have access to the designated seating. Once again, we hope that you will enjoy our special screening of Zootopia, and we look forward to seeing everyone at the theater!

Megaplex is happy to announce a special event. Do you want to see Zootopia? Have you found yourself wondering how cool it would be to see it with all your furry friends?
Well, wonder no more. Megaplex has bought out an entire movie theatre for everyone to watch the furriest movie of the decade.
OK, Ok.. I know.. your saying "Come on, give us the details already!" :)
What: Private screening of Zootopia
When: Saturday March 5th 3:30pm showing ( theatre admittance starts at 3pm )
Where: Cineplex Theatre in the Artegon Mall ( 5150 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819
Price: A $6 deposit is required when you RSVP ( $5 dollars will be refunded at the door - This is to alleviate any possible empty seats due to No Shows )

The Artegon mall has a policy against fursuiting, so DO NOT show up in fursuit! Wearing your PG rated badges and collars is fine. Also, please don't disrespect the theater with inappropriate behavior. Bad behavior will jeopardize us being able to offer something like this in the future. Please print a copy of your receipt at checkout, and be sure to bring a photo ID, as this will be used to verify your ticket at the theater. Arrive at the theater at 3:00PM! If you are late, you won't be able to get in!
