I hope this year is better than the last. We've been through a lot of crappy stuff, 2021, LEAVE US ALONE!
Sorry for being so quiet lately, I was very busy with the last months of 2021 by managing a team in the BMS of FIGHTERS event, and was also having some priority complex. I really need to get my life straight. I'm now accepting commissions, but I'm still toying with the idea of pricing my works, so don't ask yet, pwease~?
Regarding BMS of FIGHTERS, our BOF team is called SAFARITHM. There's me, KaziO, DynamiteGrizzly, PizeroFox, and FlyingDraegon.
As for me, my plans for this year is to do more art, take commissions, and participate in this year's BMS of FIGHTERS again.
For commissions, I'll announce it around January~April once I'm comfortable with it.
So yeah, LET'S GO, 2022! Let this year be the best! If you don't treat us good, well... (grabs bottle by its neck and smashes its bottom, points the broken sharp end to Year 2022's neck)

So, here we are with Christmas just around the corner, and me being the same ol' me as always. It's been a long while since I last posted a new journal entry here in FA. So, what's new to talk about?

• Art •
I guess I can say I'm slowly moving from traditional medium to digital. My nephew got this small 6x4 inch gaming drawing tablet that he used for gaming and various doodles, but his interests shifted to something else and left it collecting dust. I decided to try it out and at first it was a bit confusing; This is not the screen tablet kind. I can't see where I draw, and I only have my monitor as my guide on where I'm drawing. Eventually I got used to it, and now I've been using it a lot lately for the recent stuff you folks see in my gallery. My nephew doesn't mind that I keep his drawing tablet.
So, what does it mean for my traditional stuff? I love inks. I will never leave behind where I started. I might draw some traditional stuff every now and then.
Also, a few months ago I haven't been posting much art for a long while, but that's because I was having a horrible art block. Thanks to Arisaka's suggestion my art block has finally alleviated, and that's how I post stuff daily. For now it's Pokémon and Monster Hunter World stuff, but you'll see some original works real soon.

What can I say? I'm disappointed I missed this year's Inktober. Feel bad about it, and still am.

• Music •
I've been trying to get back into making music, but I just felt like I don't know what to do with them. Maybe it's my writer's block, or maybe I'm just lazy. Hopefully someday I'll return to make more catchy music if I'm motivated, or I dunno.

• Commission •
I've been thinking a lot about opening for commission lately.
Some users asked me before if I accept doing commissioned works, but I decline for many reasons with the main one being not able to receive payments. So many problems to address but I won't go into much details. But the bottom line is: Once I get the necessary things up and running I will be ready to accept commission. Maybe somewhere around in 2020.
As for the prices? I really, really don't know. I'm not a good judge of my own artwork. I'll figure out the numbers by then.

You guys are the best. Many thanks for supporting me all this time, and I thank you all for the faves I've received lately.
Now that I'm doing stuff digitally, maybe I'll improve my art some more. Color is a new territory for me, so it'll take a while to learn its ropes. Theory and such, whichever works.
Here's to another year of more art. A new adventure awaits!

I mostly use my ol' iPod Touch for musics while I draw to keep me motivated. Apparently it ran out of battery and now as I charged and turned it on again, it prompt me to a screen of a USB plug with iTunes icon.
Oh-shitty-fuck-no.

I have to restore it, but my PC where this thing synced to is still kapput.

(Now that I'm on someone's PC, I can finally finish my journal!)
By now some of you were wonderin', like, "whatever happened to you, you silly wolf?"
My own PC's totaled ever since that lightning struck something nearby. Most people's gadgets in my neighborhood were fried, and I was unfortunate enough that it happened while I was using my computer (oh, you, Mother Nature~ You are so funny~!)
So yes, that explains the lack of new musics. Ah well~ It's not like anyone listens to my stuff, anyway! *lawl*
The only good news from the nature's cruel joke is that I finally have the time to focus on drawing stuff! Time to continue Orange Grind webcomic, RO-IN, or draw whatever crappy stuff that I can produce!
I also want to apologize that I wasn't able to finish those sprite avatars.
I might be able to get my PC working again, but not sure when~...
Well, that's all!

Whatever happened to the ol' Mega?

So you may have noticed that I'm not updating as much as how I used to 6 months ago. I was just finishing some personal business during those times, like Photoshop School and stuff. Now that I'm back, I have some news!
(Wall-to-wall texts ahead! Don't blame me if you wasted your time reading 'em!)
・HEY, BUDDY, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR ARTS?・
So yeah, I guess I need to explain myself why I'm not updating much within that time. My dad enrolled me in this Photoshop School and I made a promise to him that I should focus on my studies than drawing (lolwut?) Nothing art-related in what I study, really, just photo-restoration techniques. Atleast I graduated and got my part done. I can draw again. So you think everything's fine and dandy and I should be happily go back to drawing stuff with full of singing birds and a smiling sun behind me while I smile all-awesome looking, right?
Wrong.
Aside from that School mess, we had another terrible rain in here that the whole area is flooded. Our whole first floor was in deep water, but with our good effort we managed to put all our stuff upstairs before that happened (with me and my family crammed together, lawl.)
After the flood we cleaned our house and put the stuff back in place, but I did something stupid: I accidentally threw away dad's power cable for his PC. With him needing a power cable badly I sacrificed mine: The one that powers my Scanner.
What? You mean you can draw again but you can't scan the works?
What a terrible twist of plot!
Don't you guys worry, though. I can still draw, just needed some time to get a new power cable to power my scanner.
・SO HOW ARE YOU GONNA POST ART WITHOUT A SCANNER?・
Going back to my ol' favorite medium, the MS Paint! It's fun because it's easy to draw in 'em! And I love pixels, you gotta love those tiny little dots forming pictures on the screen! Such cute little cluster of rasters that ma--
--what? What is that? Use a better art software? Photoshop? CorelDRAW? GIMP?
Yeah, it seems my friends kept telling me to use better art programs for making, well, art. But I'm pretty much more comfortable with MS Paint. Plus, you guys got better digital art equipments. I only use a mouse, which takes time to complete a single picture, unless if it's pixel art. Lawl.
"You youngins' don't know about true digital art software! Why, back in my day, we do MS Paint and stuff! You young dagnabbit folks and your fangled digital thingamajigger-in-a-doohickey!"
It's either that, or I'm just much more comfortable in MS Paint. If I have time, I might be able to use one.

I was really busy and things occurred unexpectedly, so I hope you understand. And, no, I'm not finish with it yet! I'm still making the strips during my free time, and if I have the scanner back expect a full blast of updates!

I'm thinking of making another free compilation album with a theme of Soft, Relaxing and Melodic music. (The previous compilation album was LET'S BE H☆PPY!!, which is Happy Hardcore and Melodic.)
It's gonna contain 15 tracks with 3 extra tracks for transition purposes. I already planned the 3 musics to be original and the other 12 to be Revivals. That makes it 18 in total.
The revivals are gonna be re-rendered with better instruments or new versions.

TWISTED METAL FURRIES art project

The ultimate gift-art challenge was kinda difficult to make, so this time I'll make it easier for myself to make a fan-art. Both for my love of playing Twisted Metal and including my friends in this project.
I already sketched up 18 cars (contestants) and now finding some drivers (friends) who are willing to join by adding their 'fursona' / characters in this work.

I already sketched up 18 cars (contestants) and now finding some drivers (friends) who are willing to join by adding their 'fursona' / characters in this work.

[How to join?]
1. You must have a fursona.
2. Pick a car you want.
3. State your reason about why you want to join in the tournament and your wish for Calypso when you win.
4. Note me your driver information. Not in this journal.
5. OPTIONAL. You can state your 2nd special weapon if you like.
I'm going to draw their mugshot view of their fursona just beside the vehicles.

Before I do anything, I would like to say I AM NOT DEAD YET. XD
I'm not going to stand here and do nothing about this anymore...
I don't want to be quiet here in FA. I don't want to stay anonymous to anyone. I can post, I can reply.
The reason for me being silent is because of these 3 things (and I wanted to get this thing out of my chest.):
1. COLLEGE. Yeah, I finally started my college days. My course is Multimedia Arts since that one's much closer than Fine Arts course. I'm strictly forbidden to use computer/internet unless it is necessary for my school work.
But I tried as hard as I can to go on-line and post stuff.
2. TIME. "Time is not on my side...," gotta love that quote. I don't have enough time to explore/note/post/view/etc... here in FurAffinity.
I got so many things to do, and it doesn't involve computer time. I spend my time drawing and practicing some new styles on my sketchpad. What I fear is that I might lose a standard style that I usually use. (Explain my --Earthmover-- and --Sorang Anghel--: Without their signatures, can you even tell if they were both drawn by the same artist?)
But aside from drawing, music-making is much easier than drawing. Cause I can simply just hum a tune on my mind and lay it on a digital composer.
Weird, though... I told myself that I'm a HARD TECHNO artist but it turned out that my musics are pure MELODIC HOUSE stuff. >_>
3. GIFT-ARTS. I know, I know. I bet some of you are already pissed at me (because I, myself, am pissed, too.)
You probably knew that I should've done those Gift-arts (ones listed below) since LAST YEAR. And I blame myself. Me and my Procrastination. But I totally deserve being despised by others. It'll be a lesson to me.
That's what I feared here in FA. It's time to tell the truth.
It's true that i don't do commissions and only do them for free, but I give false promise that i do them.
I'm still finding time to make them again (hoping to find the right moment to use my developed skill to do a better gift-art.)
I've said many sorries and sad sobbity-sobby things before. But sorry's not enough. It's time to Wake-up, Stand Up, and smell the fresh new tomorrow. Sorry won't do, I just have to do it.
Now that I said those, I finally got it out of my chest. But that's just the 1/5 part of it. I have many problems that not anyone can see it.
Now, I won't guarantee if I can still do freely after this. Just wish me luck...

Turning 21. And I don't know... feels like I'm too old doing the stuff I do. But that doesn't mean I should stop. XD
I don't know what I want for my b-day, too. I mean, I'm not much of a materialistic person, but I do want some art supplies (such as inks, mech pens, papers, etc.) so that I could draw again.

Before I do anything, I would like to say I AM NOT DEAD YET. XD
I'm not going to stand here and do nothing about this anymore...
I don't want to be quiet here in FA. I don't want to stay anonymous to anyone. I can post, I can reply.
The reason for me being silent is because of these 3 things (and I wanted to get this thing out of my chest.):
1. COLLEGE. Yeah, I finally started my college days. My course is Multimedia Arts since that one's much closer than Fine Arts course. I'm strictly forbidden to use computer/internet unless it is necessary for my school work.
But I tried as hard as I can to go on-line and post stuff.
2. TIME. "Time is not on my side...," gotta love that quote. I don't have enough time to explore/note/post/view/etc... here in FurAffinity.
I got so many things to do, and it doesn't involve computer time. I spend my time drawing and practicing some new styles on my sketchpad. What I fear is that I might lose a standard style that I usually use. (Explain my --Earthmover-- and --Sorang Anghel--: Without their signatures, can you even tell if they were both drawn by the same artist?)
But aside from drawing, music-making is much easier than drawing. Cause I can simply just hum a tune on my mind and lay it on a digital composer.
Weird, though... I told myself that I'm a HARD TECHNO artist but it turned out that my musics are pure MELODIC HOUSE stuff. >_>
3. GIFT-ARTS. I know, I know. I bet some of you are already pissed at me (because I, myself, am pissed, too.)
You probably knew that I should've done those Gift-arts (ones listed below) since LAST YEAR. And I blame myself. Me and my Procrastination. But I totally deserve being despised by others. It'll be a lesson to me.
That's what I feared here in FA. It's time to tell the truth.
It's true that i don't do commissions and only do them for free, but I give false promise that i do them.
I'm still finding time to make them again (hoping to find the right moment to use my developed skill to do a better gift-art.)
I've said many sorries and sad sobbity-sobby things before. But sorry's not enough. It's time to Wake-up, Stand Up, and smell the fresh new tomorrow. Sorry won't do, I just have to do it.
Now that I said those, I finally got it out of my chest. But that's just the 1/5 part of it. I have many problems that not anyone can see it.
Now, I won't guarantee if I can still do freely after this. Just wish me luck...

Well, I'm still planning of posting the "Shorty Manga FA" here, but I think I can't draw mature arts everyday.
Apart from that, I'm trying to finish my "Origins of Megawolf" manga and try to publish it, although I don't have enough money to do it. Also, I might not be able to finish the manga if my procrastination takes over.
On the other news, I might be posting some mature arts very soon. =3 Just be prepare for it!

The only difference about the dA version and fA version is their content... Shorty Manga fA will be in complete (and some none) Mature mangas/comics... I'm actually making the cover right now... ^_^

Oh well, I guess I should stick with submitting musics and digital arts for now... ^_^;
Incase if you guyz didn't know, I'm having writer's AND ALSO artist's block... what are the chances?! I just wish that I could get over with this soon, if this keeps up... I'd be extremely bored by then!
