I'm kinda negatively impressed from how I have been making all this Flattening/TF content very frequently for more than ten years now, and yet I never got any kind of traction, constantly seeing new artists pop in the scene and already leave my engagement numbers eating dust so quickly in comparison.
I try my best to ignore numbers and this kind of stuff as I'm very aware of how useless and down to luck they can be, but sometimes it's tough, it inevitably makes my brain wonder what I'm doing "wrong" here; maybe my art isn't fetishy/lewd enough? Maybe it's the kind of characters I draw that are just overall unnapealing such as the cutesy Pokemons and my male OC?

I'm usually able to ignore these feelings as I do am aware that there are other people that get way less numbers than me too and I don't want to sound ungrateful, but lately I have been getting some painful physical health issues, and that together with every drawing requiring so much time and effort, it does makes me wonder if it's worthwhile to continue at all if it gets so little in the end, even monetarily my previous real life job did paid much better than all my commissions and Patreon combined.

But whatever the reason is, I also would like to be positive and thank all you guys that follow me around, do know that I'm very much aware and appreciative of every single of you! 💛
I'm doing ok here, I guess that I always try to be so positive all the time, putting these often suppressed feelings out do help a bit now and then.

As you guys might have heard already, Twitter/X was recently banned here in Brazil, and this sucks really badly, it was definitely one of my most used websites for sure. Not only for fun, but also for commissions and similar stuff.
It's said to not be permanent, but considering how crappily Elon is handling the situation, this will probably last a long time.

So because of this, maybe I'll start using this journal feature more often to talk about personal stuff or show WIPs and so on.

I do have a BlueSky account, but I cannot lie that posting there is literally that "talking to a brick wall" image meme, there's simply no reach or engagement and I always see even popular artists barely get more than 5 Likes per post there.

As some of you guys might already know, not long ago I got my previous computer fried up by a lightning, so I lost access to my commission queue noteblock as unfortunately I wasn't smart enough to save that online. While I still do have a vague idea of the people who wanted to commission me and were in said list, this made me realize that this system just wasn't very pleasant to begin with, it was very hard to maintain it tidy.
So because of this I imagine that slowly transitioning into only taking them there in my Patreon from now on will make things a bit easier for me, as with the limited slots people can always easily know when I'm up for taking them or not, starting with three slots as of now.

I understand that this "first come first served" system might not be the most fair as it can be easy to miss open slots, or if people remain there for too long without leaving and possibly not letting others join. However I don't think I'm not nearly in that level of fame to have such thing happen, so 3 slots per month seems like a very reasonable ammount of slots to cycle through for now.

At first I used to be embarrassed from getting into drawing all this squishy TF stuff, preferring to separate both kinds of works. And while that can still be benefitial if I were like a famous public figure or artist, after being in this community for so long, I came to the conclusion that this way of thinking is just a complete fabricated lie from our brains, we do not have to worry about this in the slighest really. Not only it doesn't affect our watchers (we can clean away our art watching feed as fast as measly two mouse clicks if we don't like the content!), but that thought of "what if I become famous and people find out my weirdness" is also completely useless and fake, I see plenty of fetish or even literally pornographic artists making successful normal art and memes all the time without any repercussions.

So while it obviously won't be my focus here, I hope you guys don't mind me uploading the sporadical non-TF/fetish normal art now and then, I gonna try to slowly upload some old videogame fanart I made in the past here too for example.

As I usually do at every end of the year, I would like to use this opportunity to say some personal notes for these who might be interested.
2021 was a very rough and mean year for me overall, both in real life and in my internet life here. And while I won't lie that 2022 isn't looking to be much kinder either, I surely will try my best to remain positive, and hopefully have even more squishy TF fun with you guys this next year!

I won't be depresso expresso and vent about the bad stuff that happened, but fortunately this previous year still had many good things as well, such as:

And about people who contacted me about commissions before, I want to let you guys know that I didn't forget about any single of you, I still have all your names and contacts on a list here!
I'm aware that some have been waiting for a very long time already, but the thing is that I indeed got a lot here. These vacuum sealing commissions for example got an overwhelmingly good reception and a lot of you wanted to join it, so that together with the previous normal commissions, I accumulated almost 40 people in my wait list here.
That and I also started to focus a bit more on some personal stuff these days such as learning animation. It's such a difficult and time-consuming thing to make, definitely a completely different monster than normal drawings, I still have a ton of stuff to learn about it here. But hey, squishy animations still are so niche and rare, it will definitely be worth it!

So yeah, I just wanted to let you guys be sure that I didn't forget about any of you, I just got too many to make.
A few people got upset that their turn is taking too long, and as much as I appreciate all you guys support, this also can be very uncalled for and unfair as I only charge when I'm actively working on your pic. But hopefully my explanation here shall make things straight!

I'm certainly not alone when I say that this 2020 year was very nasty and rough overall. But I do still think that it was an ultimately positive year for me despite all the bad things that happened.
While I couldn't accomplish everything I had in mind this 2019, I do feel that I greatly improved my drawing skills compared to before. So even if I still have MUCH yet to improve, I do feel pretty accomplished this year overall.

Possible Patreon

I'm definitely very grateful for all of you who constantly supports me with commissions, but unfortunately I also realized that the ratio of hours spent working on a commission often surpasses the money charged for it.
I only have myself to blame as I could certainly make quicker, more "commercial-like" pictures. But like I already said before, I do also draw these for fun and want to make sure to put the most effort I can.

So since I don't want to increase my commission prices to the point of them becoming parody material, something that would help with this a lot would be opening a Patreon account. I'm not a fan of hiding content behind a paywall, so since I often draw in a very big resolution, maybe I could upload my full resolution pics there to thank my Patreons for the support, while still uploading the smaller sizes here for everyone to see? Maybe even some "early access" kind of deal? Or maybe even a "Tip jar" kind of Patreon could be nice, you can't believe how much a measly dollar already helps!
I have plans to release a squishing Art pack soon too, but I'm not sure if I'm popular enough to make a deal like this profitable, I might just use the art for said Patreon account instead.

One thing is for sure though, if I do open a non-tip jar Patreon, I will certainly try my best to come up with fan-servicey pics for you guys instead of self-indulgent work with my own character and things like that!

NSFW

I have been starting to feel much more comfortable about more suggestive and fetishy themes, so you might starting seeing some more spicy and weird pics from me now and then.
No, I don't think I will start drawing exposed genitalia and strong explicit stuff like that any time soon as I myself ain't very fond of it either, but I also know that a lot of you watch me for the more cutesy kind of TF pics (Like the cute Pokemon flattenings and similar).
This kind of cutesy content still is my favorite for sure, but I already have my accounts described as "+18 fetish stuff", so hopefully not any of you will be caught out of guard by potentially weirder pics!


Learn something new

Now that I feel way more confident in general arting, it would be neat if I could start learning something new in this art medium, such as 3D modelling, animation, pixel art or pixel animation. I would like to start researching about at least one of these things this new year!


Physical Health

I already had this in mind from last year, but this pandemic stuff surely threw a wrench into my plans. I mean, of course that this is a lame convenient excuse, but damn if it isn't also way more difficult to avoid staying on PC or eating junk food because of it. So I definitely want to look after myself better before I get TFed into a barrel in real life too!


Discord

Not only because of the Physical health point above, but I might be more inactive and slower to respond there on Discord from now on.
I'm glad that lots of you like to talk and share your stuff with me via DMs, and I myself also enjoy talking with you guys and making friends. But sometimes I get up from bed and see almost 30 DMs in my inbox, one day I had literally 60, and I'm not even exaggerating! So when this happens, I only have three options:

1- Spend hours in responding them all, because it also often leads to longer conversations.
2- Don't respond, but also be forced to not post or comment anything anymore in any server or social media to pretend to be offline.
3- Avoid responding to conserve my attention and sanity while still having fun interacting on servers, but possibly make people annoyed from "ghosting" them.

As you can see here all these options are kinda awful, but hopefully by being the most transparent I can here, you guys can also understand my point. Trust me, if I could casually chat with you all I certainly would, but I'm physically unable to do so, or at least unable to do while still feeling good here.

So what I mean with this is that please, do not take personally if I take long to respond or ignore empty small talk such as "Hi"s, RP teasings or the unrelated image dumps that don't have anything to do with me. While you might see it as rude ghosting, I really have to look after myself more too, I cannot keep trying to please everyone, specially people that I don't even know! So please do consider posting your unrelated drawings or memes on the servers we are in, I do assure you that I will still most likely see it.
There's really nothing more boring than commenting something in a server and being instantly swarmed with DMs of "Hoi", memes or pictures that have nothing to do with me and so on, I really don't want this to continue.

Sorry about this rant, but hopefully my plea here will also help people to understand my view instead of plainly getting upset at me.


Ending notes

All these points are mostly for myself to keep track of, but if you read everything so far, I do thank you for the attention and wish you a wonderful new year, hopefully we can still have much more wacky squishy fun this 2021!

I have been going through an extremely touchy and harsh situation there these days, so because of this, I decided to completely unninstal this program to have a big detox session from it. So I won't be able to read or respond anything there for a while.


But I will return there later when I feel better about this (Probably this next year). And if anything, I will still be here in Furaffinity, Twitter and Deviantart as usual.

Woah, this 2019 went so fast, it feels like we still are at October or something!
I'm very pleased about how this year went art-wise, I finally managed to make some characters to use in TF shenanigans, and I also feel that I have been improving a lot in drawing overall; so hopefully I will be able to repeat this at 2020. I won't make promises for this new year, but I surely have nice plans for it already:

>Continue my current commission list, and maybe open them again when I finish it. If not, at least try to come up with some YCH deals!
>Upload simpler drawings like sketches and flat color pics instead of only fully finished work.
>Finish the remaining characters I have in mind to hopefully start working on my comic project at late 2020.
>Take more care of my physical health.

And the latter one will be my biggest focus. Even if I'm feeling great with all the things that happened, I cannot say the same about my body.
Sitting on PC so much to draw stuff definitely took a big toll of my body, making me gain a bit of weight and giving me an annoying issue on my knee, but most importantly, some nasty pain in my drawing hand and arm.
I would hate to get carpal tunnel syndrome, so because of that I will try to greatly reduce the amount of time I stay on my PC. But I will not make this affect the arting, which means that I will try to use almost all my computer time on drawing only. Because of that, I expect to become much more absent on Discord and similar places, so sorry if I take longer to respond on these places!

But yeah, things are looking good this 2020, and I wish all of my awesome squishy watchers an equally as awesome new year!

Hello there, how are you pancake lovers doing? Although I have been staying a bit less on PC these days I'm still doing good, and wanted to talk a bit about a new little project of mine here.

From a long time already I wanted to create some OCs for me to use in squishy TF scenarios, and now I'm finally doing it! (I know I have that Cotton OC already, but he's more like an internet persona of some kind instead of really a character.)

Most of you guys don't know this, but much prior I started making flattening art, I was a very big fan of monster girls and boys, like slimes, lamias, centaurs, elementals, elves and this kind of stuff. So then why not mix both likings together~?
So my new characters will most likely follow this theme, and will surely participate into plenty of squishy TF shenanigans.

At long term I also have plans of making some kind of comic series with all of them, which I'm already working on as little stories on said character bios. My goal is to have fun and entertaining little stories, while still having a good amount of squishy TF fan-service (People who follow TSM's work and other similar Japanese artists should know what I'm talking about.)
It's still a VERY early WIP, so any feedback is appreciated!

And for people that aren't interested on this, know that I will still continue to make normal squishing pics of popular characters now and then, specially for commissions.

I'm not a fan of venting in a place like this, but I got some pretty horrible news today.
Because of bullshitty government laws here in Brazil, Paypal was forced to stop supporting other foreign coins like dollar, so it will automatically convert them into our Reals.
Which already is pretty bad since our coin doesn't worth anything, but because of other horrible taxes, it will also automatically deduct 24% of the value of every dollar transaction! So now every payment I receive from other people will get one forth stolen away.
And if that wasn't bad enough, since we can't store dollars anymore, if I ever want to buy something using them like games and art commissions, I would have to convert them again and pay another 10% of the value, which would stack into absurds 34% of the total amount!

This is so awful that almost made me want to quit this whole thing. Which I won't of course, but it's really nasty to see such a big amount getting stolen to feed this horrible corrupt government. And I thought that the normal 5% paypal fee was bad already.
Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about this, but I just wanted to put it out.

Woah, so it's 2019 already! This year was so busy, the days went away really fast!
2018 had lots of ups and downs for me, but mostly ups!

It was at this year that I really focused into drawing and found an art-style I'm confortable with.
I also made lots of great friends here and in Discord, and also improved my EngRish, which used to be much worse before.

You guys might have noticed a slow down in the new arts as of late, but it was nice to have a little break this end of year, specially from all the stressfull events that happened here in Brazil. But I shall resume drawing full time again between this January and February!

This new year is promissing to be even busier than 2018, but don't worry as drawing more is one of my resolutions for it. And speaking about that, here's my New Years resolution for this 2019:

Focus more into drawing, try to make at the very least one new pic each two weeks.

Create some kind of new character that isn't my cotton-self to use in all those transformation/squishing pics. I know some people that greatly dislike seeing him in the tf pics, so it'll be nice to have someone else to a̶b̶ use too~

Try to take more care of my physical health as staying a lot of time sitting on front of my PC this 2018 gave me some nasty health problems (Ouch my knee).

Return to the English school. Even though I can still talk with you guys here just fine, there's still much more to learn, specially in the speaking departament. This will be very important as I plan to move out of this big garbage dump country called Brazil.

Save up to buy a Nintendo Switch, I want to play Smash Bros Ultimate aaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAasujdgjasdgashjdgjasdg

Unfortunately my water cooler died, it's not pumping the liquid properly. So my cpu is constantly at 100 c degree, making PC to run much slower and stutter a lot. So because of this, it might take a little while until I make more squishy art here.

Willingly - The characters find flattening/transformation to be pleasurable somehow, some even getting squished/transformed on purpose!

Unwillingly - Being flattened/transformed is not pleasurable or desired by the characters, who would never want to go through those predicaments at their own will.





Personally I prefer unwilling scenarios more. I find much more funny and amusing when the characters get shocked, annoyed or plainly dizzy when caught by a piston trap or something they weren't expecting!

...well, around I live at least! Brazil is still in a very big mess and things like electricity, internet and even buying food are still very unstable since most highways are all blocked by people that have no idea in what they are doing, but at least here in the small town where I live, things appear to be returning back to normal... slowly, but its something!

I don't want to go much in detail, but to resume what happened here is that a group of vandals that call themselves as protesters decided to camp nearby and create a very big havoc in the entire place!
Things could go very very sour, but fortunately for us, mostly material damage was done, which can be fixed! I got one of my knees hurt quite nastly too from all this mayhem, but nothing permanent fortunately!

It will take quite a while to forget all the absurds that happened around here, and those ridiculous militants can still come back when we less expect. But I honestly feel much more relieved now that they are gone. I will try to draw more funny squishiness and play some games to distract myself from all this.

It's honestly a shame that the HUEzillians have literally no clue in how to protest and end up being as bad as our nauseating government. I can't move from here yet because of family reasons, but I will definitely do that in the next two or three years!



But enough of rant, back to setting more pistons and wringer traps for all you guys~!

Brazil is currently going through a REALLY serious civil mayhem, so now all the truckers and stores stopped working, making the whole country to stop. Food is limited and revolver shots are heard everywhere around here, a completely idiotic anarchy.

I'm really concerned by all this, so I really can't focus much here in the internet world until things get better. Today I found two bullet holes around here, one right on my fence and another in the kitchen door, so I feel really uneasy and unsafe. I can't even tell how this happened, probably some loose bullets while I was sleeping...

So yeah, sorry if I get inactive here or in Discord, this cannot be helped unfortunately.
