The "furry style"

I was browsing the site, and it struck me that a large portion of artists seem to enjoy/draw in a similar style. I am not entirely sure what you would call it, but I suppose it's rather anime. Would you say that this style is the most sought after style? I'm not thinking about changing my style or anything, but it's just interesting that such a large group of people with such diverse characters seem to all gravitate towards this one style.
Anyways, I wanted to feature an artist that has a unique and skilfully executed take on this style! :)
