I was going to have a contest where the first person who answered the question I posed would get a place in the story as I wrote the rest of it, but apparently that place has already been won. Oh well, I might still add people anyway :P

Well, hopefully soon, those of you who have watched me will actually be able to see works that I've done, either of the drawing medium, or the writing medium.

For the first, I have to get my mom to get the scanner working or connected to the right computer, whichever is the problem. I dunno, me ish a lazy kitty. I should make a warning, that none of said art is pr0n, and none of said art is furry either, with one exception.

As for my writing, I'll be retouching some old stuff, and submitting it here. Again, it's very old, like 5-6 years or more. And because my writing ability has improved since then, I feel it would be better to correct some of my old writing habits I had back then.

Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+

Seriously, this shit is hot! It's coming out in Japan in March, which ironically is when my B-Day is (damn!) However, unlike the first Final Mix, this one has a US release that is talked about, though Square has done nothing to confirm or deny it. In the first Kingdom Hearts, there was a content difference between the US, and Japanese version, which prompted the release of KH Final Mix. However, with Kingdom Hearts 2, there isn't any content difference that I'm aware of.

This means Square could make an absolute killing if they released Final Mix+ over in the States. And they'd be stupid not to take advantage of that. Not only does it have some rather hot extra content for KH2, there's the fact that it comes with a new, PS2 version of Chain of Memories. Seriously, two games in one package!

Sometimes I wish I weren't a cat.

Honestly, it seems like everyone looks at me and is like: "Oh...a feline."

I mean, I know cats are a VERY common species. But then again, so are dogs, dragons, hell most reptiles! And yet, somehow cats are the worst.

I can't help it that I'm a cat person! It's just how I am. If I'm going to be a species, I prefer it to be a species that goes along with my own personality and natural tendencies. And to me, I feel like a cat.

I've thought about being other species. But, then I wouldn't be me. I'd just being doing it so other people would like it more. And that just feels wrong. I want people to like me for who I am, not what I am.

I dunno...maybe I'm not quite a feline. Maybe I just think I am, and since I'm biased for myself...well then it's not an accurate depiction. So I want people who know me, who talk to me, to answer this question:

Do you think I'm a feline kinda furry?

If not, what species do you think I am?

I'm at FC, it's saturday, and I'm feeling fucking bitter. Why? I dunno...I just feel so blah. For one thing, I have school on monday, so I have to leave sunday, which blows. Too...I think I realized why I always have a problem socializing at FC.

FC has an absolutely ridiculous population of artists, including those I've talked too online: Koda, Shuik, Glenn, Syniroth(sp?), etc, etc. There are even some non-artists, who I know are there, like Sohjin.

But here's my problem, and this applies mostly to the artists, I've got nothing. I don't think I can socialize with them, because I've got nothing in common with them. I went up to the creator's lounge late friday evening, and was sitting there, listening to everyone talk.

And I realized while sitting there, I had nothing to contribute to their conversation. Hell, I bet if I so much as tried to speak to them, I'd get weird looks, or they'd acknowledge me for a second, and go right back to talking to one another.

I hate it how people like Sohjin can sit there and chat up others, like best friends, and I'm sitting here like the odd man out. I listen to them discuss art trades and swapping sketchbooks. I can't fucking draw. I tried, I honestly fucking tried to draw. And I looked at it, and saw just how bad I was.

It's fine that Midekai is an artist. Even in he doesn't get mad comissions, he's an artist, and he's good friends with other furs, who happen to be artists, it's what they share in common. I'm not faulting him that, and I'm not mad at him for it. More like disgustingly jealous.

I just sit there, or wonder the con aimlessly. I was scolded for spending last FC sitting at the computers. Well, guess what, I volunteer for panels, get on the staff, and spend more time out and about. And what do I get? The same result as last year; and take a wild guess what that was:

Nothing.

That's right. FUCKING. NOTHING.

I basically spent most of con just wandering about, or, when I found people, they were already talking, and I just kinda sat there and stayed quiet. How do I be social with someone, with whom I cannot relate to? How do I talk to someone whom I want to socialize with, but since they're an artist, I cannot do so without somehow coming off as a fanboy. It's a lose-lose.

I went with Midekai, and met N (Nitrogen), last year. I remembered something he said to me a few weeks afterward, when I saw him online. This isn't word for word what he said, but it's about right:

"I don't remember people who aren't important."

Seriously, there were a few people, who saw my nametag in plain sight, and took almost a full minute before they realized who I was. I bet 20 bucks, if I was some artist, I'd be recognized right away.

Of course, I'm going to hear all sorts of people telling me where my logic or arguement are flawed. But honestly, I don't care. I honestly just want to leave right now. Pack up my stuff, and leave, all without saying a word. I bet no one would notice I'd even left.

Of course, the fact I just said that means someone will argue otherwise, but I know the truth. It's true, I'm not a memorable person, I'm not special, I've got nothing of merit. I'm just your average furry. And apparently the crowd I know doesn't care about the average furry.

Hey hey all! It's me, the slutty jaguar! *grins and wiggles* Just TWO more days till I leave for FC. Now I'm sure you're thinking, "But wait...FC is on a Thurs, right?" And it is, I'm just going a day early, staying at a friends house, so as to avoid the San Jose traffic.

Also, apparently I'm now the lead AT for the Writing Track. The former lead has run into an emergency, which will keep him from his job. He needed a backup, and since I volunteered for so many panels, he asked me! ^^

It's apparently not a lot of work, merely checking out the panels to make sure they get started. But in at least one of them, I'm now running it! And I get a thing saying I'm staff and what not :p I even get free food at the staff feed.

Other than that, I've got plenty of money for FC too, and I've got a room at the hotel. So I plan to have plenty of fun. For those of you who want to say hi, I'll probably be wondering the con, and...on Thursday and Saturday, I'll be attending some panels. Just to make sure you know which ones, I'll list them here:

Well, school is finally over. I got a C in my Spanish class. And I've got a break, (and FC) until next semester. Now I've got some time to sit down and do some serious writing.

I should note, that some good friends of mine are going to be in these stories.

1) The supa-dupa star: Drayky the cuntboi
2) Biggest damn orca: TK
3) Various folks you don't know

Yeah, Drayky is in two of them, and TK is also in two of them. :p Their popularity ever grows. Here are the story projects so far:

1) A River City Ransom rendition, done with furries. There are openings for roles in this story, and I'd love to have people in it. Both TK and Drayky are in these stories.

2) Science Fiction story, no openings. Drayky, my good friend, became my muse, and inspired me to use his "species" as aliens in the story. Of course, to give him credit, he'll be in it. This is a serious project, one I hope to use when I submit a manuscript to a publisher.

3) Sappy sad/romantic story. Involves TK, being the big romantic sap that he is. (I love you too hun)

4) Backstory of the character, Melfice. I've had a backstory for quite a while, mostly all in my head. If it goes as planned, when it's done, not only will it give people insight, it'll be work submittable to a publisher.

5) Short Spy Story. This is being written for the writer's workshop at FC this upcoming January. Last year I had an excellent story, but I hadn't the time to write it all out. It almost got into the con book. This year, I'll be prepared.

What the hell is wrong with you people?! Can't we celebrate a holiday without SOMEONE bashing on it?!

I've absolutely had it with people bashing Thanksgiving. For the love of God (though I don't believe in him), why can't we celebrate in peace, without someone bringing up the "explotation/backstapping/rape/pillage/murder of the native amercians" bullcrap! That has NOTHING, I repeat, NOTHING to do with the holiday.

Thanksgiving is about the peace and sharing the Indians and the Pilgrims shared with one another. It has nothing to do with the things the colonists, or later, the early american government, did to them. Nothing at all. So why do people INSIST on bringing it up, somehow trying to make the holiday out to be immoral or somehow demeaning.

Guess what, ain't going to happen. You can't reasonably bring in such an arguement, unless you want me mocking you.

My rant is done, that is all.

Sometimes, you folks in the fandom here really piss me off. It's nothing personal, I'm glad I met you guys, and that I'm a part of his group. Otherwise who knows where'd I be. But there are moments in which being around you all makes me want to bang my head into a wall and induce a concussion.

For example:

1) Most notably, this cub porn shit. I had a best friend of mine leave, because he "doesn't want to be on a website which supports pedophilia". I want to grab him and throttle him silly. What the hell?! You're going to leave over something as ridiculous as porn?! There are worse kinks out there than pedophilia, dammnit. Vore, Scat, Watersports, Bondage (Yes I said bondage, if you think I'm wrong, get in line). So now I lose a friend. I'm not mad at FA, no I'm mad at him for being so immature

2) Sometimes I have to stop and realize you're all a bunch of smut-loving furs. You either want to see sex, or nudity. I know that's not always the case, but damn, sometimes I look at the pics you guys watch, and shake my head. Now, I realize I'm being a hypcrite a bit, since my fave list is full of the same thing, but I realize that, unless you draw extremely well, or you draw smut, you get zip for attention.

Not that I'm an attention whore, but case in point, on my own FA Page, look at my two pictures, then notice where the majority of the comments are on. That's right, the nude pic. And it wasn't meant to be porno-graphic, merely a character model. I know that it's not as good as my first pic...but cmon...I get nothing.

3) I stopped drawing, because my fucking art teacher made us draw supermodels in magazine ads and bowls of fruit. That wasn't what I wanted to draw. I did some drawing of my own, but I found that I couldn't draw something original, something of my own. I found I could draw what was already drawn. I did some characters from Suikoden 2, Wild Arms 2, and a character from Chrono Cross. I also drew Mew and Mewtwo...back when the First Movie came out.

However, I became disillusioned with drawing, and since I couldn't get proper instruction, and didn't have the motivation to train myself (I wasn't even aware of the fandom at the time) I decided to switch over to writing as my medium of expression. And of course, when I enter the fandom, I find that, the written word holds little attention for the fandom, who, like humanity are general, are a visually oriented species. Which means my writing, unless containing smut of reasonable quality...is largely ignored.


Thus, I end my rant, as my fustration has been worked out of my system.

I decided I was going to be writer for a career. And to jump start my career, I'm working on a novel that'll be my opening foray into the writing world.
