I had my hdd on my laptop crater and the whole process of trying getting a new one and recovering my computer has caused me to take some time to really think about things. I kind of came to a realization that I really was starting to have a lot of difficulty doing artwork again and I had to think deep as to why that might be. I have been mostly doing commission work for people over the last little while. A lot of it during a period where I was between jobs and it helped me maintain an income to survive. However I'm now in a position where things have gotten a lot better in my life. I now have a job that pays the bills and I am enjoying and I also now have a significant other that is just the greatest thing ever. I'm finding it more and more difficult to get to doing art. When I think about it, it feels to me that I'm not really doing it just for myself anymore.
That being said, I think I want to start focusing on doing art again, and I really just want to focus on doing stuff that I really want to do. I'm not sure yet what that will be, however I do know that I'm going to close my commissions indefinitely. I want to focus on finding my love for art again.
I appreciate everyone's support over the last few years with commissions. I did have a fun time doing each and every one of them. I hope that everyone still continues to enjoy my art and projects whatever those turn out to be in the future.

Resuts of BBB case with Paypal.
Posted 12 years agoThe BBB complaint I mounted against Paypal regarding the incident regarding 
Touya_Vulpes went favourably. I am receiving a refund for the amount I was charged back.
They stated they are unable to deal with other users accounts through me due to security reasons which I believe is fair and they have encouraged every one effected to come forward and contact them directly.
For everyone who wants to do this you can reference the BBB CASE#: 304692 in which this was instructed.
I want to thank everyone who came forward to help and I encourage you to contact Paypal to get this sorted out for yourselves.

Calling all artists effected by Touya_Vulpez
Posted 12 years agoI'm calling for help for every artist effected by chargebacks from Touya_Vulpes
I would like to get a list of paypal emails from the people who were effected by this incident to prove that this issue was widespread.
I'm going to make a joint BBB complaint against Paypal in how they handled the issues with the chargebacks. Any investigation actually made by Paypal should have shown them that the chargebacks were suspicious.
It is my understanding that there was one person who did receive a refund, even though most of the people involved did not. The person in question did not ship any art and it was delivered digitally. This is in direct conflict with why paypal states that the other user's claims were rejected.
It was also brought to my attention that paypal has a policy that states no claims can effect the results of other claims. This brings the problem of what happened in this case where one users account has effected a large amount of other users. This policy allows Paypal to selectively allow or disallow claims at it's own discretion regardless of supporting information or precedence sent. In this case Paypal did not have to make any investigation at all against the users unusual large amount of simultaneous chargebacks against users. This policy therefore protects Paypal only and does nothing to protect it's users who rely on the service.
Further more, Paypal is the one handling the credit card transaction and not the end user. The person requestion the money is not told where the money was funded from and does not receive any information about the credit card and thus is unable to do any due diligence against credit fraud. However since paypal is the one handling these transactions it should not be brought upon the end user to have the burden of truth since they were not the ones actually handling the credit card.
In my own case I also provided Paypal with evidence that multiple users were effected and made a case of fraud or unwarranted charges against multiple users. I also stated that I had evidence of correspondence with the user in question that prove that the services were rendered as requested. Paypal made absolutely no efforts to contact me for this information which leads me to believe that they never launched an investigation into the incident at all and just reacted to each incident individually. I would like to complain that Paypal 'should' and 'must' protect it's end users more diligently by investigating fraud against them. Otherwise if a user feels that Paypal is not going to protect them against credit card fraud that they 'should' not be the ones responsible for, then why should they use Paypal's services at a high risk.
In the end I do not believe that paypal handled this incident well at all and I think it's important to make this public to try and force Paypal to evaluate the way they handle incidences like this so that their victimized customers are not just passed off quietly.
If you were effected please send me your paypal email ASAP so I can launch this complaint against Paypal and hopefully resolve this issue and also prevent it from becoming an issue in the future.

What: Doing $20 sketch commissions. This will be an 18+ stream so sorry no minors.
How it works: I will have 5 slots open for this first session. It will go first come first serve to those that reqest a slot in the stream. Once you have confirmed that you would like a spot and given your details you will be placed in the list your slot will be confirmed once the payment is received. Once everything is said and done there I will be drawing the commissions during the stream. To be fair to everyone, I will only accept payments to qualify for a slot during the time of the stream and the slots will not be filled beforehand.
Payment info: Payments will go through Paypal to mel.fluff[at]gmail.com
Delivery: Art will be delivered via an email address provided.
Acceptable content: Most content will be allowed however I reserve the right to refuse specific content. Content that will not be allowed includes but not limited to: Scat, Cub porn, and Incest.

I was playing around with the idea of doing a slavestream where I would do $20 sketches for participants.
However first I would want to know who would be interested in this because I want to guage interest before I go ahead and start one.
Let me know if this is something that interests you. I want to try and get one set up earlier this week if it looks like I will get enough participants.

2000 watchers O.O

RetroWolf I have hit the 2000 watcher milestone here on FA.
I actually was planning to wait for this to launch my tutorial series but I decided to jump the gun on it instead and released the first one early. However the reason why I wanted to release it when I hit 2000 is I wanted to make it as a thank you for everyone who has watched, commented, and supported me up to this point. Doing the tutorials is my way of giving back to the community that I found has been so friendly and welcoming.
I also decided to go beyond my two part tutorials and announce that I will be continuing it as a series and go much more in depth with a variety of topics so you can expect a lot more from me on that front. I am still in the planning phases but I will do a full announcement of the topics I am going to explore in the near future.
Again thanks everyone! It makes me happy to have you all as watchers and I really appreciate your support!
