Alright.. it's time for me to post something a little more real..

So AC was pretty friggin' awesome. I had an awesome time! Got to see Renard V at the dance, met up wtih DogCookingEggs, roomed with the infamous Crusader Cat, and his bf (who reminds me of Sibe). Minus some of the weirdness, I had an awesome time. It was a lot of firsts for me. Especially in fursuit!

I've been on the path of trying to lose weight, eat healthier, and exercise. So far, I lost about 10 lbs! (Hooray!) Yes, I know people tell me that i'm skinny, but I have some fat in areas that I don't want.

Lessee.. I made more friends at AC, met up with a cute Texas boy.. and.. well yeah..

Seriously.. I could use some constructive criticism. I honestly don't believe that I won't get anymore better without it.

So I'm randomly going through an early 80's phase. There's a lot of really good artists out there that were making music in the early 80's. I've been really turned on to Gary Numan. His music is very, very deep, and some of this I could relate to. 'Cars' is a really good song, 'Are 'friends' electric, and 'i die you die' are really well done.

There's always Romeo Void (Never say never (or 'I might like you better if we slept together)), and Soft Cell ('Tainted Love' and 'Sex Dwarf').

Now I'm now looking for other artists out there.. any suggestions

I don't know how you guys do it. It seems to be pretty difficult to draw, but oddly enough, it's something I enjoy doing.

I'm wondering if there's anyone out there willing to help me out o.o

My art teacher has an interesting theory on furries..
she basically told me that furries are depressed with low serotonin levels, hence the increased need for tactile sensations (basically cuddling, scritching, etc, etc)

So, I decided I want to go back to school. Not part time, but full time. Actually, I really need to complete school, at least with a Certificate.

So, what I am doing is (re)learning how to draw. I started taking lessons, and I'm going to use FA to track my progress.

My goal is to 1.) Learn graphics for websites, 2.) draw furry stuff, and 3.) possibly make t-shirts.

So don't expect anything good from me for a good while. ;)

For a while, I've been thinking about doing a cover of a Lady GaGA track. Yes.... I know that sounds really gay..
But I toyed around with the idea of making an industrial cover of "Poker Face" or "Bad Romance".

And so far, singing to it in the car actually sounds pretty decent :P

I'm definitely gonna need some help doing this though..

Going through FA, and poking at all the week points of it.

After talking to a certain furry, I was told that FA is still currently using old code (which has been later been modified or added on to). I honestly still think they should have gone through the major python rewrite which would've prevented certain crashes.

I obviously don't have access to this code (but I know it's CGI/PERL), so no worries about that.

Another issue about FA is how it's currently being moderated. If an user comes on board, becomes popular, floods the site, it will be handled.

Being an IT for an website hosting company, the first thing I will personally see what's going on. If it's something like the site being flooded, you would think a cluster or a load balancer would take care of this. If that's not the case, then you obviously need to fix your code.

But, the way FA is being handled.. the first thing they do is well.. ban the user that's bringing in the flood.

If the mods are reading this..(not like they will), I would really, really like to volenteer to improve FA.. heck.. even get that Python project off the ground (although I think Django would be a better choice than Pylons)

So... my lappy is dying :( It's the only decent computer I have, and it sucks. I can't make that much psytrance anymore (and oddly enough, psytrance takes up a ALOT of CPU) without it lagging and crackling.

I'm not complaining though.. it's just that I would like to starting doing this stuff live, and I can't afford any lag time if I'm out there with an audience. This is a great lappy, little hand-me-down from my ex-bf. Acer Aspire 5000, and this thing has alot of mileage, and about 3 years old now.

Now the CDRom Drive is close to dead (won't burn any CDs or DVDs anymore, and only reads CDs now), the wifi card is dying (it will occasionally 'disappear from my computer, luckily i have an Orinoco Silver to back that up just in case it happens).
The fan is dying (i just hear it struggling to spin), it occasionaly over heats and shuts it self off (I was having that issue alot when I was working on March of Owls).

Um.. yeah.. time for a new lappy. Anyone wanna make a donation? In trade, I'll play at your parties :P

Any suggestions on how to get a good hook? Everytime i try to make a track, the hook seems to be the hardest thing for me to get >.<
