But she does like the cooler temperatures.

She doesn't let others dictate her life. As such, Melia can most often be found in comfortable pants and a either a loose fitting shirt, or a shirt that shows off her boobs. Sometimes she just loves the way she looks in a dress, admiring how sexy she appears in it.

She once spent some time with a true horse anthro, not eating meat. It was not long before she felt lethargic, and depressed. But after eating some meat she would feel better.

I have posted some examples of what I can do with embroidery. I do not create new artwork with this, I use artwork that someone already has and then turn that into an embroidered design that can be used as a badge or as a sort of stand alone piece of art. Since I do the embroidery by hand I often have to simplify the art so as to make it work. Most often this means that I choose a piece of fabric that closely matches the most prevalent colour of the original artwork, or sometimes a colour that will make the embroidery standout more (I did this with the piece that I embroidered for Zelda Zebra).

I would like to start offering this type of craft for sale. Prices will depend mostly on size (if something were more complex and would took me longer to make then I might add an additional fee that would be discussed with the commissioner). Smaller pieces would be $15 and larger ones would start at $20 (again, size dependant if you wanted something larger than 5"x5" I would need to charge more due to the time involved).

If enough interest is generated I will look into embroidery sewing machines, at which point I would be able to offer more complexity in terms of the colours involved.

One of my close friends is attempting to file for bankruptcy, but she doesn't have enough money to do this. We are both US Navy Veterans (served on the same ship). Well, that was it. I screwed up for the last time. No more chances. The only shot I've got is if my ship pulls into Guam, if his ship is there, and if I can find him while I'm there. Oh, and lets not forget this chance only exists if I can get him to talk to me if all the other things happen. He may not be willing to talk to me ever again. Yeah, this is technically the first time I've cheated on him, but to him it's the 8th time. And if I were him I wouldn't talk to me ever again either. I just wish there was some way I could make it not have happened. Some way that I could not have hurt him. I feel like I'm the girl in the song "shot through the heart". I'm the one who gives love a bad name. No, I wasn't just playing a game with him. But I couldn't do what I needed to do to make it work. I just hope he still gets the last birthday present I sent him.

On this St. Patrick's Day we are wondering where OUR pot of gold is?
The last 3 months have been rainbow-less for MRR as we have taken in
several sick and injured rats, each requiring antibiotics, revolution,
surgery and the like. Our bank account is depleted and we now have
barely enough to cover an emergency visit and we do not have enough
money to pay for our next shipment of Harlan Food to restock the
store.

This is a plea (something we absolutely HATE doing) for financial help

I know few, if any will read this, and even fewer will respond, but I need to say it.

I made many mistakes with my most recent relationship. I was/am not mature enough for a serious, long lasting relationship. Maybe my outlook on life, attitude, and generally what makes me me, can't get along for too long with my wolfie, and what makes him, him. However I do know that I love him, I would do anything for him. I am going to spend the next three years, trying to learn from my mistakes, trying to figure out just exactly what I did wrong, what will go away with time and perspective, and what I actually need to work on to change. I have no idea where to start, aside from just admitting that I need to change. I hope that he will forgive me. I hope that he will give me a second chance. I want to start from the beginning again, and do it right this time. But I do not expect to ever get that second chance with him. Maybe all that I did wrong in that relationship will make the ones in the future work better.

Is a place I have yet to see. I've been here for just over a week and I've barely left base except to cross the highway to get to another part of base. I've learned that West coast Navy is very laid back so I'm not as worried about that now. I've also learned that I'm a bit of a wild child when turned loose. Oh, and there's this drink that is supposed to get you smashed if you have just one, and it's all you have that night.......I get buzzed. However if I have three shots of rum, and then one of these drinks (Audios MF) I am pretty throughly smashed. It's a mircle I didn't crash into anything that night. I’m pretty sure that, that would be my dad’s (at the time) horse, Cassandra. She was a pure bred Arabian, though it may have been my mother’s half Arab, Windy.

Don’t really know....haven’t really ridden any specific one. More English than Western, more Dressage than anything else, but I don’t specifically go for any one discipline.

3. Who's your favorite pony?
Well since I own two ponies.....I believe that would be Little Fish. Now ‘pony’ as in equine, my old mare Cassandra.

Echo, at three years and some odd months.

Cassandra, she was 20 something when I stopped riding her.

8. Would you rather ride inside or out?
In a ring to train, and then definitely outside! I love the freedom I have when ridding outside. And besides my round ring isn’t big enough for any horses to get up to a canter safely in.

I don’t understand the question.

10. Who have you been taught by?
My horse, my mom, and my dad.

11. How old were you on your first pony ride?
Around 4, that I remember, and she wasn’t really a pony.

12. Who's your favorite horse/pony to jump?
I never really got into jumping, the only horse I knew that was good at it, and would jump, was my sister’s horse, and I was afraid of that mare.

In the third grade.

Haven’t really ridden enough to say, because I enjoyed Ahshin’s gate when I was ridding him, but since he threw me I’ve too afraid to get back on. So I’d have to say Ahshin. I would say Stormy, but she’s dead now.

16. Most weird/interesting thing done on horseback?
I tried to jump on to Cassandra bare back, and wound up doing a handstand on the other side. She also reared with me once. And I nearly fell asleep on her back.....do any of these count?

17. Have you ever ridden bareback, and on who?
‘Of course...that is a very important step in learning how to ride your horse and how to sit. Everybody should ride bareback.’ by  Hidalgo It’s just such a good answer. And I’ve ridden most of my horses bareback: Cassandra, Fish, Fancy, Rajiyah, Ahshin, and Echo. Didn’t ever tempt fate with Stormy though.

18. Least favorite pony to ride?
Echo. She’s also the only true pony I’ve ever ridden....no that’s not true. She is under 14.3 hands, but she’s an Arabian, and not a “pony”–connotative meaning.

19. What's the highest you jumped?
Only about 2-3 feet.

20. Who was the first horse you cantered on?
Cassandra.....No it was Fish. I followed the horses, and jumped on her without even a halter, something spooked the horses and they all went running back to the barn. I know foolish of me, but I was about 10 at the time.

21. Who was the first horse you jumped?
Stormy. I didn’t want to. My sister made me.

22. Scariest moment on horseback?
Toss up between when me and Cassandra fell in the sink hole, when Fancy reared and wound up sitting down, because she over balanced, and when Ahshin was bucking and the saddle came almost completely off his back-he was cantering at the time, with his nose on the ground.

23. What is your favorite part of the horse?
Umm....their ‘heart’, as in their soul I guess.

25. Who are your favorite boarders?
The only times the horses were boarded was before I was born, none.

26. Who are your least favorite boarders?
See 25.

27. Why did you start riding?
Because my mom rode, and was absolutely crazy about horses(still is crazy about them) I guess is was just natural that I would want to ride them, but unlike my sister, it wasn’t a phase for me.

28. What is your favorite pony breed?
Don’t have much experience with ponies, but from appearance that would have to be Shetlands, or Hackneys.

29. What's your ideal height of a horse/pony?
About 15-16 hands. Tall enough for me, but not huge.

30. Describe your dream horse?
The height I said in ‘29', gentle, black, Arabian blood, and of course mine.

31. Favorite horse markings?
Very little if any chrome, like a star or snip.

32. When was your last lesson?
From a person, some years ago. From a horse, just a few hours ago.

33. Would you rather jump or do flat?
“Flat”?

34. Have you ever showed?
No, but I would like to.

35. Ever ridden a boarder?
No

36. Who did you ride in your last jumping lesson?
Stormy. That would also have been my only jumping lesson.

37. Who did you ride in your last flat lesson?
I don’t know what is meant by ‘flat’.

Years Riding: About 10 years now.
Favorite Horse Book: Oh crap! I can’t think of the name of it, but it is about one of the Through Bred foundation stallions. The small bay one from Arabia.
Favorite Horse Movie: Hidalgo, or Black Beauty
Names of Horses ridden: Windy, Cassandra, Little Fish(After the Storm), Stormy (Dancing the Storm), Fancy, Ahshin, Rajiyah, Echo, Maggy(friend’s horse), Chille, and I’m pretty sure that’s it.
Barns ridden at: technically none.....since I don’t think my own barn counts.

Has anyone else ever challenged a storm? I love the rain, and when a storm comes I will go out and just about challenge/question the strength of the storm. Mind, I do respect storms and their power, but I so love to go out and stand in the rain. Though my mate seems to hate it. He's not a happy bat in thunder storms.

This could be a problem, I love storms and just about challenge them, and he is scared of them.
Any way jsut wanted to know if anyone else shared my love of storms.

1. What is your character's name? Melia

2. What kind of character is it (furry, anime, etc) and any particular race/species? She is a pegasus anthro who lost the luster to her coat, and whose wings began to fall apart, and then she had the rest of her wings torn off.

3. What is the first thing your character would think of when he/she first wakes up? “Why must I wake up every day?” Or, “What hell must I face today?”

4. Your character's favorite outfit would be? She likes to wear a shirt that ties at her neck and low in her back (reminds her of when she had wings), with lose pants, a pair of comfortable deer skin boots, and pig skin gloves-for riding, or silk gloves. In winter, she wears a light sweater, and close fitting pants, with the boots on the outside of her pants.

5. When your character looks into a mirror, what's the first thing they would notice? The lack of wings behind and above her head.

6. Does your character have the same tastes in food as you? No, she likes to eat a lot of grain–she’s an equine.

7. How is your character similar to you? It’s hard for her to get truly attached to someone, but when she does it’s almost impossible for her to not care about them.

8. How is (s)he different? She’s more depressed, she loves to fly, she doesn’t get as upset over the small things, and she is a little harder to make mad.

9. If your character could speak, would they have the same voice as you? No, she would have a higher pitched voice that was some how softer.

10. If you were to suddenly become your character, what do you think would be the first thing you would do as them? Swish my tail around, swivel my ears, and try to figure out how, with this nose I could eat 1pound of grain with out eating the 1table spoon of powder wormer.

11. Is there something about your character that you don't like how others think of them? Haven’t had her on the net long enough, not enough people have read about her, plus I haven’t posted a description about her yet.

12. What advantages does your character have over you? She is free to do what she wants...if she doesn’t like someone she can just leave town, and not have to look back.

13. What disadvantages? She has to think about how to kiss her boyfriend...she has basically a large human mouth, but he is a fox.

14. Do you have any secrets relating to your character that only you know? None that I know of.

15. Do you have any secret drawings only you know about? Nope, the only one is posted.

16. Do you have any plans for your character or are you working on something big relating to him/her? Sorta, I’m not really sure how it’s gonna work, but I do have plans for her.

17. What misconception(s), if any, do people have about your character? Again, she’s not been on the net long enough, but if I had to make a prediction: most would think that she is a simple horse anthro, but she is really a pegasus.

18. If you could have just ONE characteristic from your character, what would it be? The hearing, I’d love to have directional hearing!

19. Have you made any characters that go along with yours, based on real-life people, that have the same relationship with your character as you with the real-life person? Yes, Grey Fox is based off of Shauntil, or more what he wishes he to be. But the relationships are the same!

20. Have you written any stories about your character? Working on it, but so far it’s just the prologue.

21. How has your character changed since his/her first creation? She has nothing left of the wings, just scars. Plus she’s a lot smaller now.
