Ive got a long way to go guys, but I couldnt be happier with where Im headed in life, however slow it may feel, I dont mind slowing down and taking my time to enjoy what life has to offer <3
Spending the next couple days with tha girlfrienddd. Going out to eat and stuff and just hangin out. And theres apple pie too. ;w;

A Fear For Heights

As I write this I'm listening to the near-final mix of the next track in the album, A Fear For Hieghts. A song about falling in love with the wrong person, and the blindfold new love can put on us all.
Im happy to say instrumentals for the last two songs are done and i just need vocals. The album name is set in stone and I'll reveal it once I have the artwork I need for it.
I'm looking at the album having 6 tracks in total. I understand its small, but its a lot for me. Especially when you consider it all tells a single story. 4 songs is the max for EP's as far as the UK is concerned and a 6 track release is considered a small album.
Anywho. I'm keeping this release from being uploaded for a while until Im confident I'm done with it. Not too much longer Id hope!

cricketkittycup are planning a trip to Yellowstone in mid June and any bit of help would be absolutely appreciated!
I'm super excited guys me and her really want to do a lot of travelling and stuff and I never travel, but I absolutely love nature and seeing new things, so this trip to Yellowstone with her is going to be something to remember and it means so much to me.

Short Hiatus Update
General | Posted 9 years agoI expected to be nearly finished with the album by now but something awesome came creeping up on me these past few weeks.
I started talking with an old coworker/friend of mine and we've been hanging out a lot recently. And she's turning out to be one of the most wonderful things that has happened to me in a while. I usually dont like being that gross gooey lovey person when it comes to posting updates in here, because personally I think a lot of it is flashy and...idk out of place?
But this is really something I cant not mention at least once. This is one of those things people talk about where you know, we talk for hours and dont do anything, and we listen to music and show eachother things and we cook together and genuinely just relax and I'm just beyond myself. Honestly. Ive never had anything like it.
Im taking some intiative for once in my life with my drivers license and a plan for secondary education, too.
Needless to say she's been an enormous influence for me already and Ive been getting caught up in it a lot in the past few weeks.
Work on the album will continue as soon as I get some free time to do so! Thanks guys! <3 The Final Stages Of My Album's Production

Well everybody! It's getting really close to being that time! With three full tracks on the final stages before being finished, I'm happy to say that soon I'll be ready to begin the final stages of production for the album itself.
So what's next exactly?
I'm glad you asked stranger!
Well considering the nature of this album and what it means to me I am going to go through some extra care to make sure this is a release to remember for those that listen to my music, and for me as well.
I'll be needing to hire a photographer here in Minnesota for a photoshoot to take place at some point so I can get material to work with for the album cover as well as the next step here.
With a nice selection of photos to choose from I will actually be having hard copies of the album manufactured and sent to me personally, with a track list and some other little details.
Not sure if they'll be sleeves, wallets, or jewel cases, but buying in bulk is expensive so im trying to figure out some ways around the price and only get around 20 made.
So where will the music be available?
Well aren't you just full of great questions today?
Every track for the album will be readily available here on FA to listen to! Tracks that are already released on here will be re-released. This is my baby though, so im going to go through some extra lengths to protect it. Possibly by registering it for legal copyrights! But thats boring stuff.
The album will be available for high quality download on Bandcamp for sure, and not long after release depending on the expenses to get it up there, every major online music retailer you could think of.
It will not be free. But it will be cheap. I hope you can understand that. Id say it took me a while to decide on that but it really didn't. This album is very...very...special to me. I almost guaruntee you I will be in tears when I get to hold my first physical copy. Its been something I used to fantasize about a lot but never thought I'd actually do. This album is the last 4 years of my life coming to a close, and leaving me nothing but a fresh start ahead of me.
I want the album to have a price out of that respect alone, and I hope that makes sense.
You can also order the hard copy of the album, which, since I will have it in my posession, before shipping out can write personal thank you notes to those of you who decide you want a copy. <3<3<3
Thats all I have to say for now. The album title and the official tracklist will be announced when I have the album cover and other things ready. Thats also when preorders will open up.
I know I dont have as many followers as im making it seem. And maybe this isnt as big of a thing as you think Im hoping itll be, but for me it doesnt matter how many people are paying attention. This is important to me. I thank those of you who have been anticipating this for your support. How few of you there might be. It's all I could ever ask for.

Jesus Christ, I mean this show was so ahead of its fucking time its absolute gold. An astounding cast playing even more astounding characters that just seem...so solid? These people are like family and I love the idea that they are sort of bound to this life of crime and live by the order of the captain, who might I add quickly became one of my favorite characters of all time. Thats saying a lot considering the entire crew is my favorite character pretty much lol
So much potential with that show...its bittersweet honestly...because on one hand its nice to see they left it alone, finished with a nice bang and were content with leaving it at that. You know instead of going too far with it until its not even special anymore.
But on the other it just...wasnt enough. Im sure they knew that. I would have been content with two or so more seasons. Hell even just one. I havent had enough of their characters and Im not sure I ever will and Im just absolutely crushed because of it. What should I do about my tracklist for my album?

I have a few songs I still need to write but my question is...what should I do with my older tracks?
Should I leave them alone or re-release them to be a part of the Album?
Because on one hand they are older and they would make my quality and presentation inconsistent...but on the other hand they fit with the theme of the album perfectly. They express opinions and ideas that I want this album to express you know?
But the inconsistency bothers me. I dont want to release an album with various levels of quality and have new people hear it and think I have no clue what Im doing ;A;... I mean no Im not making music for other people Im making it for me but I still have to have standards right?

Honestly I'm sort of surprised my last journal was like a month ago, considering all that I've been pushing myself through.
I suppose part of it is because of how used to some of this I am by now, which is sort of a bittersweet thing in this case I guess.
At any rate, I've had to take some time with myself to move past some familiar heartache that hit me pretty hard not long after Christmas. Its been...not easy. Emotions arent very cooperative a lot of the time, at least not for me, but I really did want to thank those of you who have been there to listen to me and relate to me and help me through my situation. Its something I could never really put into words; it means the world to me.
You all know who you are. <3
With all the help Ive had to stay positive, Ive been having an easier time getting to work on my music, and Ive been much happier with the things I write. This drive of optimism I have is picking back up and Im glad!
Anywho, the Furry Musicians "express yourself" contest has been open for submissions all month, and Im taking this chance to vent out some of the things Ive been needing to express through music, and submit it through the contest. Im working on a full album this time around, and I intend to bring out the best of it through these next few submissions of mine, so keep an eye out if you'd like!
Id love to say more but the Album is sort of writing itself right now, and I still dont really know many details on it other than that it will be the last collection of songs to be written about this chapter in my life. After this album, I'm moving on and Im never going back. So I will have quite a few things to write before Im content in releasing it.
Thanks again everyone for the support and the love on my work. It brings a smile to my face every time I think about it..<3

General | Posted 9 years agoIt always fascinates me how alive and caring this community is, and my journal the other week got wonderful feedback and I was so happy to be able to get that boost from you guys. It really helped me out a lot. I'm starting to be a bit more lenient with my productions. I'm starting to not worry about what other people will think when they hear my music for the first time. While I have kept my music passionate and true, I do worry a lot about "proper" song structure and attention grabbing and all this stuff that makes me worry my projects aren't up to par with other musicians..
Not worrying about this is sort of letting me get back to my roots. Back when I thought everything sounded good as it was. Back when I wasnt pressured to add effects or different sounds just because other people do.
So with that being said I'm happy to say I've got a new release coming out here soon. Yes it's a full song. And yes its happening. <3

Not Feeling So Good About My Music...
General | Posted 9 years agoI want to work and write and produce and be everything I dream of being but I just cant...I want to do it so badly.
I just feel stuck I guess. I want to make things but the second I get in there its just demotivating. It's such a big thing. And I know I could wow people but my projects are missing something so important.
I want a piano in my music but i dont know how to write for them...
I want a guitar in my music but how the hell do I do that if I dont even understand the basics of a piano..??
I play instruments my own way and I taught myself a lot of the tricks I know, and sometimes...idk I feel like a joke.
And I act like so many people care about my music, I mean, Im sure a lot of you do but, idk maybe I'm in over my head. I feel so passionate about everything but I cant be productive and it just...yeah.

Full EP Cancelled
General | Posted 9 years agoI cant work on it any more, the projects are too different and inconsistent and I want a clean slate. I was really excited for its release, but the songs are probably better released as singles. If anyone actually wants to buy my music, I'll have the tracks up ior purchase eventually once I get around to it.
Until my next announcement Ill be going quiet as far as content goes. Im tired of releasing half-assed unfinished tracks and doing nothing with them.

So for the time being I think it would great to work on collaborations and practice my writing and recording while working on my own content in my free time. Thatll let me pump out content a bit more frequently since, as it turns out, I get offers for collabs more often than I complete my own music xD

A Job And A Lack of Something Or Other
General | Posted 9 years agoHey guys. If anybody has been wondering where ive been, or even if you havent, Ive been going through sort of an art block.
Its more of just me wanting to take a break from the stress I put on myself for making and finishing my music.
It just started to weigh heavily on me and I needed a break.
Ive got a job at a Holiday gas station now working overnights. Its nice but it will make things harder for me as I adjust to the change in schedule and amount of free time.
Im looking forward to a lot of things right now and Im just hoping to god that for once in my life I can take a step towards my future.
Anyway, wish me luck everybody. I'll see you soon.

OH GO CRY ABOUT IT. Just because you cant handle a REAL game doesnt mean shit.

No you just cant handle the fact that the game takes time and patience. No DONT get me wrong, im not bashing on people who dont like those kinds of games. Where I've Been
General | Posted 9 years agoIve been really stuck and lacking motivation. I've gotten out of the house for a while to hopefully fix things, but I think it's just making things worse honestly. Maybe when I get back I can convert this sort of lost feeling I've been getting a lot of lately into something positive, like my music. I'll be back on Wednesday and after that...who knows.
