Art

June is planning on being a relatively slow month for art. However, I will be taking a couple fan art requests at one point or another and I will announce that via Journal! no keep your peepers out as its going to have a time limit and rules. I will also take Commissions in June if anyone is interested and I to Have another YCH in the works.

Life

I will be kicking off June by turning another year older! yep this is my birth month so my family is planning to take me out to celebrate with a nice dinner and all around good times! in the mid month i have my first Ren Fair for the year and I am hoping it will not be scorching hot that day as i would like to dress up for it. with all this the pool should also be open which means I can bust out my Mermaid Tails for swimming around, the end of the month is a planned trip for a meet up with friends for a weekend Looking forward to that as well.

This is a heads up! for the YCH event in July as we leave the Ocean and hit the beach! As with Mermay I will be offering 4 Different poses to choose from and slots will be $18.00 USD this round. I will only be taking 10 slots to start with. the post will be made on July first. This will be my Summerfest event.

This week is shaping up to be pretty busy. Most of my art time will be devoted to the couple YCH for Mermay. However I have started to play around with the next YCH's for summer and will announce more on those as it gets closer the plan is to have another sale in July with a new theme and group of poses. June I am planning on taking a couple of Fanart requests if anyone would be interested. I am open for Pin up commissions as well. Not much is Planned for June as the entire month I will have things going on event wise.

Past week was great just enjoyed the weather and stayed around the house mostly, Did a little thrift store hunting and got some tops for summer that will be comfortable. Finally found my self a flocked Panthor for my Masters of the Universe retro set yay! No work on Monday this week as I have an eye exam and art will be out of the question for that day dilation drops are the worst! If all goes well work will resume Tuesday. I Hope everyone has a great weekend in general if you are celebrating or not!

I have returned from my week being away! Not really sure how much rest I got honestly. The entire time I was gone my brain was teaming with ideas for my art. I did get to see some family though so that was nice. Weekend was awesome though for the most part. Saturday I attended a toy show in Ohio and scored some vintage My little ponies for my shelf so super happy about that. As far as ponies go I am not a fan of the other generations only the first as I grew up with it and I am now Collecting Ponies I could not get then so not a Brony personally. Sunday I was supposed to go to a wedding but I guess the entire week of travel and visiting and pushing through the toy show finally caught up with me and I crashed hard and sent my congratulations to the couple by my parents who were also attending. I doubt I was hardly missed due to what I am hearing.

Planning to get a lot of work done this week both spring cleaning and art wise. Just waiting on the weather to warm up so I can open the windows for a day and let in the fresh air, Will be seeing my folks for Easter and having dinner with them lol not too mention I am holding their ham hostage in my freezer. Getting into spring I will be able to get out and clean more in the yard and fight back that dreaded ivy!!!

Getting back into collecting retro toys mostly MLP G1 and Beast Wars. Other than that not much new to report just staying incredibly busy with life. I have also started to watch a lot of old school Wrestling from when I was young so a lot of late 80's and early 90's.

I have new posts for this week. some more pin ups. Also I will be gone the first week of April so no art that week as I am not going to be near a computer other than my phone for that week just gonna take a retreat week and recharge.

I am doing well nothing major to report. The weather has finally started to warm up so it means I can get out more. My yard needs a cleaning all the limbs and brush need burning and I will have to paint the house this year it looks like so there is all that to do. It will be so nice to open up all the windows and air out the house soon and get into the deep spring cleaning that needs doing. Looking forward to it. Spring always puts me in a good mood.

Goals for Art in the coming year is I just want to continue to improve and bring some pieces people can enjoy, I also want to build up enough confidence to take on Commissions from time to time for those that may be interested in the style I bring.

Goals for the coming year in general life, Eat better and kick the bad food again Holidays get me every year and I just sorta plan for that now and try not to be as bad. Keep working on my house and make it into the home I can be proud of. Chickens! I am trying to decide if I want to take this on in the coming year I love chickens and I love Pets but this is a large responsibility to take on. Work harder to meet my WereWolf sooner! Be the best Mermaid I can this coming year. Be Kind to everyone. Just be a good person in general for myself.

There is so much more I wanna do too. It will come I know it I feel it my heart.

Hello everyone, since my last journal life has gotten better its still odd not seeing Mack at the door watching me but it is getting easier. Been caught up in the craziness of the Christmas season for me. I managed to get all my gifts for family and friends just delayed on getting them out. Life in general has been good though with its typical ups and downs.

Sad News

My lack of activity is because my family lost one of it four legged members this past Saturday, so please bare with me as I work though the grieving process as he was very precious to me, Mack my families German shepard was only five years old, He was the strongest dog i knew and always wanted to please everyone, Despite mack never missing a dose of heart worm protecting a day in his life he still contracted then and for the past year had been going through therapy to help him get through. However Mack had stopped responding too therapy and the worms had advanced and started to block his arteries. He stopped eating and could not stay hydrated or able to relieve himself. For the last week of Mack's life I watched the strongest and most handsome dog i knew start to wither and waste. the vet made one last attempt at restarted his appitite however he unable to eat. In those last few days we made him comfortable and i laid with him in the floor because he didn't want to be alone. On Saturday morning I spent a few more hours with him to tell him goodbye before my parents took him in to the clinic.

Arrangements have been made for mack and his ashes will be placed in he favorite spot in the yard under his tree, Everyone in this neighborhood who knew Mack loved him and they have sent condolences and love our way. In his short time here he had brought so much joy, happiness and sense of security to us all. He had stopped burglars and alearted us to when the elderly neighbor had a fall and always kept an eye out. there will never be another like him.

As seen with my gallery it is progressing! I am happy with the results I have been getting and will continue to work on my style. I really like drawing Pokemon so if there is a certain one you would like to see at some point leave me a comment and I will put it in the pool for consideration note that all these will all be done in a very toony bold line style. Personal Life

Not much to report just getting everything ready for cooler weather and yearly vet visit for Yuki coming up, I am already feeling the holiday crunch though doing a lot of planning on dinners and events to attend. Halloween is not a big thing to me as I do not get trick or treaters and such and many of my neighbors are older individuals so it stays pretty peaceful.

As far as the art front goes I am devoting as much of my free time to it right now. I have gone digital now though it took many many years so I am learning about art programs and how it all works. There are a few more personal pieces yet to come and a few more adoptables. I haven't really attempted actual art in the last few years mostly because I just no longer felt I couldn't compete. However, I had a realization that while yes i will take on commissions and other works from time to time i have to do this for me in the long run. I have to love it and enjoy it and find the happiness in my art. so I am.

Personal Life

I am back home!!! After a very long renovation the house is livable. Yuki and I are very happy back at home, Going back on a diet thats right I am going to once again start eating healthy and behaving again (bye bye chips) as I try to build my self confidence back up. Over the past year I have really been battling over my personal body image but come to realize once more that its all on me to get it done. A lot was going on my Grandmother passed and the house wasn't getting done and everything else going on in the passed couple years put me in a funk of giving up on everything.

I did have the little lights in my life that would be there to remind me though not to just stop. I love every one of you that just kept me going through the hard times when I just wanted to sit down and cry.

For now thats all I feel like sharing. more to come later.

Its been a year since I last posted here and what a year it was. I can say for fact since the last post I am doing so much better and I am a happy person! the life style changes and choices I have made have helped me improve myself so much. I guess i could go through things one by one to make it easier.

Body and Mind - I got very low this time last year, I was heart broken and let myself get convinced I was just disposable to others. My mental health and physical health both suffered for this. I gained weight back that I had worked hard to lose the prior year. I was faced with Gallbladder surgery which terrified me. I was putting no effort into myself anymore because I was convinced that no matter how hard I tried it wasn't gonna be enough. so this included doing my hair, make up, and putting nice outfits together. I stopped going out and just closed myself off from the world because it was making me feel like i was wrong. So I finally hit a point that people in my life started to notice this and encouraged me to seek some help and advice. So I did.

The start of healing is always rough at the beginning I felt that I was just dragging a weight around that was trying to pull me back down. I learned a lot about what bothered me Personal fear and etc, that even seven years after my biological father's passing I still had a little grieving I needed to get out. So much had been going on when he passed that I hadn't realized really what had been buried so deep and it was seeping out and effecting me in the here and now. So I started opening up about the relationship I had with my father, talking to people about it and slowly I was able to move on and not just focus on all the bad that happened then and I could remember good times too before he became ill and my world went into chaos. learning to let out that grief and bottled anger took some of that weight that was dragging me down away. I started to physically meet and call people. I have Friends on the internet that I game and talk with on a daily basis and over the past year was given the chance to meet and expand those friendships beyond a screen and it was truly amazing to do that. Reconnected with old friends, I have really been trying to reach out to old friends once again too that I grew away from and its been going well to see them again and get to see their families they have started or what they are into. I now go once a week with local friends to a coffee shop in town and chat and enjoy company for a few hours and catch up on the goings on. We plan one or two adventures a month, like going to historical sites, art museums, various festivals and amusement parks. we are all really different people but we manage to sit over coffee or lunch and compromise out each event.

I am back on the wagon when it comes to my health and food choices, I am eating better and watching portions , I am making positive choices for myself and doing every thing I can to be happy. been going through all my clothing and putting outfits together weekly and practicing with my make up again so yeah its an ongoing process.

Hobbies and Interest - These have changed some and not so much because I have thought about what I love and now prioritized what makes me happy and I enjoy doing. So I love dressing up for ren fare so I do this twice a year if I am lucky and get out my gown and just go have a great time with friends watching shows, listening to the music, going to the joust and walking the market all dressed up. My all time favorite hobby and I do this every time I get a chance and permission is to be a Mermaid! during the summer that is where I can be found in my tail doing lazy circles or speeding around the pool in my tail. I don't have a pod or anyone I really swim with though it would be nice to experience that . my friends go swimming with me though so I am never alone they just don't mermaid and that is cool. I love mermaiding though the jewelry and accessories and all the colorful tails. I have been reluctant to post photos here because I don't know if I should. I could put them in scraps I guess. I love anything to do with the subject of it so if you wanna talk mermaids feel free to hit me up. Fursuiting I still enjoy it though it is no longer a top passion I continue to do it for local events just so I can see the kids happy and playing as long as people continue to enjoy it I will continue to do it. Also Lisa Frank seems to be making its way back and I have been collecting stuff like crazy when I can find it, It was my favorite brand of stationary to use in school and right now for informal letters and cards its my favorite use again so anytime I see and note pad or sticker pack or anything really I grab it and start using it I don't hold on to things in a since of I have all these stickers but I don't want to use them, no I send them cause I like sharing what brings me a little happiness with everyone else.

I am not sure what else I can really add at this time other that Thank you to all my friends that have helped pull me out of the darkness I fell into and thank you for putting up with the outburst and the crying and being the physical and virtual shoulders to lean on over that last year I love you all very much

I am doing good! I have made a personal decision and some people are probably gonna find they don't like it, but oh well. I'm not going to hold on and hold out hope anymore for a lost cause, No more heart ache or wasted time for me. No more coddling when someone isn't getting their way. And no more being used! I have seen the light at the end of the tunnel! This girl is getting out!

I got a good life. I am on a good road not letting this bump get in the way of it. I am ready for the next chapter.

I took a bad fall down the stairs yesterday that sent me to the emergency room that night. I ended up falling forward down the stairs and my face slammed into the floor and my body completely curled backward over it's self flipping me. I was winded and in extreme pain but I wasn't by my self. My father had been stoppimg by luckily went this happened and got me to the bospital once I my wits back and calmed down from the panic. Once at the hospital they put me in a neck brace and gave me meds to take the edge off the pain while I waited for a doctor. Had some x rays done and was relived that nothing is broken but I am pretty banged up and bruised extremely sore and I have whiplash. Been put on meds and told to rest. I must have looked bad cause they thought I was in a car wreck.

So today I am resting g and keeping heat on my shoulder. Hopefully I will recover quick got a follow up with my family doctor tomorrow.
