A remembered furriend
Posted 12 years agoSomething just occurred to me. I thought id jot it down here real quick before i forget.
Years ago, in a little digital town called www.foxbox.cc or something like, i dove into the furry communication pool for the first time, and was welcomed by people from around the world. There was one fur in particular who i still think about from time to time. His username was like... lonewolf... something or other. I remember a specific conversation in which he told me that he has been living on his own for about a year or so (at the time). I remember feeling... sad... to say the least, because at that time i was having my own emotional and family problems.
I can count the number of conversations we've had on one hand, and yet i considered this person a good friend because, as a young and confused new member to the community, i respected him, and perhaps even looked up not to him, but his perseverance. i was affected, to say the least.
I talk about this now, because it has, for some reason, just occurred to me that i am now in the same boat as him. I have not lived with my family for three years and have bounced between friends' houses from New York to all over north-eastern PA.
If he is still out there, or perhaps for some reason or by some fate-driven chance he happens to read this, I just want him to know...
I want you to know that i still remember you, and that i understand.

Posted 12 years agoHere I am at Anthrocon for my second year. I'm meeting people of all shapes and colors and sizes and... well... species :p, and I'm loving it. It lifts my spirit, lightens the load, tickles the fancy... boosts the ego >>. Either way, my goal this year was to make at the very least 1 new friend. and yet i think i may have made a couple.
One thing to keep in mind is that im selective with the friends i have. Yes, I am a picky person. I choose people. but of course, that's natural. everyone does that when forming relationships, whether they realize it or not.
But I am picky. I am picky because, when I begin calling you a friend, you become an important person in my life. someone i actually want to commit time to. time used to build and establish a type of relationship (friendship) that will be memorable to me. I'm not sure if that sounds selfish or not, but that's my thought process. I'm friendly... or at least try to be. So yes... that being said. I have come to Anthrocon, and I have seized the opportunity, and i am very very happy. happy kitteh am i.
And now, I must talk about my writing.... where is it? not here, that's for sure. I have written some things, but i try to keep things furry related here and those not furry related elsewhere, but even still, i haven't uploaded anything in a long while. I'd blame being a cheetah, since cheetah's are inherently lazy, but the truth is that although my writing has improved, i have not utilized my time wisely. When i could have or should have been writing or even jotting down my ideas, i have been distracting myself with other things. before this weekend, i've even stopped communicating on several social sites that i was known to be active on.

However... being back here at AC has reminded me of what i really want. I want to write. I want to meet people. I want to influence people. I want to have an influence (no matter how minor it is) in those peoples lives. and i want to be their friend, as they are mine.
That being said... If you have read to here. I thank you dearly for bearing with me so far. I love you all *blows kisses*

Commissions
Posted 13 years agoHey guys! Im gonna open Commissions for dream catchers. I will be able to build you a dream catcher with up to three different colors to match your color scheme. As for right now, I am working on restricted resources so the design will be pretty basic at first, but I'm hoping that this is a good enough idea that will bring in some much needed money, and then i will be able to get more creative.
If anyone is interested, please send me a note with what you have in mind :3

This will be my first post here?
the writing style sucks, so why would i post it?
because im rewriting everything, and my skill has improved in the past 2 years.
so i do hope that this gives you something to look forward to, my posts will be far and few in between because of school, but i hope the quality pleases you to some extent.
