But I feel that in the time I was absent, I've lost many of my watchers as I don't have alot of activity in my messages.
So, I wanted to hear if you might have any ideas or tips to how I could get the word out and get a little more noticable around FA?

I'm thinking of taking some commissions soon, but I'd really like to hear if people are interested in them at all first.. and if they are, what would they like?

I think I'd like to do some coloured sketches, inked and flat-coloured busts or even reference sheets..
I've even considered if I should sell some of my old characters (pretty much anything besides Thula and Dimma), so just tell me if you'd be interested.

I've been feeling alot better lately and believe I've found some motivation for expressing myself artistically, so I hope to upload some more new stuff soon.

I've made a few paintings that I'll need to photograph and I have some sketches I need to scan. Also I'm working on a new character. Actually 2, and they're actual fursonas (as I've never really seen my previous characters as interpetations of myself).
Once they're done, I hope to start taking commissions. Especially reference commissions :)

I'm thinking of starting a livejournal, as I'd like to keep, well.. a journal. But I can't seem to be able to navigate very well on that site :/ derp..

I have a pre-drawn porn sketch that needs to be filled out.

I already have one female Grímaera character for it (not Thula), but I sort of need a male counterpart.
So.. If you have a male character that you would like to have drawn in random vanilla (nothing exceptionally kinky going on there.. just fucking) porn setting with a female Grímaera character of mine, please tell me and leave a ref or two (the more, the better)


Please do not take any offence if I won't 'choose' your character.
And if I don't find anyone that I find fitting, I'll make up one myself.

I'm back.

Well, I finally snapped.
I suffered a psychosis (due to a Salvia Divinorum badtrip) this weekend and my boyfriend dumped me.
Now I am following a program for people with risk of killing themselves and will tend some conversations to psychologists. I guess that's a good thing though.

I will not be drawing any time soon.

Alright, I've been idle on FA for way too long, and will try to keep focused on staying on this site from now on.

Don't expect much art though, as my motivation is gone for the moment.

The last few months (or more like half a year) have been an emotional rollercoaster for me. I've had up's. I've had down's. But most of all, I've had stress D:
And I know it's not going to get better anytime soon, since I'm still just on the edge of being kicked out of school, I'm drowning in assignments and projects. And worst of all; I think I'm falling in love with a giant asshole >:(

Things are not going very smoothly at the moment, and I am about to crack from the pressure of stress building up, so I guess I won't be drawing anytime soon..
Upon that, I will have to send my laptop to be repaired, so I will have to wait even longer for being able to get anything drawn.

**HEAVILY UNDER CONSTRUCTION**

Here is where I will write and update any info about my own spieces, the Grímaeras



Appearance:
Grímaeras usually consist of a mix of different creatures in appearance. What they all have in
common are their white, lapine-like faces, big fluffy manes and a kirin-like body-armor.
They usually have some kind of horns on their heads, but can sometimes be seen adorned with a crown of feathers or the like. The mane runs down along the middle of their backs and is usually kept clean, untangled and smooth by other members of their packs, but it's common that loners have a dreaded mane as they may have problems with grooming themselves.
Grímaeras upper halves and hand/front paws are usually those of a big cat, wolf or bear, and their
hind legs are usually hoofed, but might also be dragon/bird-like.
They can have any kind of tail and any kind of ears.



Feral form / breeding
Grímaeras also have a feral form. They are rarely seen in this form, as they only take it once every 7 years.
Just when the Moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars, just when the season
changes from winter to spring and the snow starts melting the Grímaeras slowly (this does not happen overnight!) start to change and take a feral form. They become much more animal-like and answer more easily to their insticts. When fully feral they cannot speak, but coummunicate through a series of chirps, growls and yips. They can mimic most animal noices (such as hissing, barking, etc.).
Eventually leave their homes and find a temporary territory in the wild. They are very shy and
usually avoid any non-Grímaera, seeking only the company of their own kind, eagerly seeking someone of the opposite sex to mate with (or mating with their current partner/partners).
Their mating rituals usually consists of the male bringing prey to the females in order to impress
them. The bigger and more dangerous, the better. If the female see the male as an acceptable father to their offspring, she will let himchase her in a 'game of tag' and eventually mate.

Once the females bear youngs, they will travel back to their old homes and build a big nest for them to give birth to, and nurse the youngs.
Grímaeras usually give birth to 1-2 youngs (occassionally 3-4) and will usually only be able to do so once or twice in their lifetimes.
While nursing, the female and her cubs gradually start taking humanoid form, being fully so once the cubs are old enough to stop nursing.

One of these days I will be holding a contest; for the best Grímaera character.
As in, the person who can design the best Grímaera character wins something.

I've sensed a rising interest in the spieces, so I wanted to get the word out right away.
Any art subitted from now on, that portraits Grímaeras can be submitted to the contest.

I assume that the contest will start in 2-4 weeks from now, and much more info on the spieces will be available soon!
