Now my vacations over, and I'm back home after 2 months in Iceland..

But I doubt I will be drawing anything at the moment.. I don't feel like drawing anymore, plus I have alot of things to take care of and am really stressed out at the moment.. with a hint of depressed

So.. no more new comissions at the moment, but I'll try to do my half of some of the trades/collabs I've accepted

I've considered to take a bunch of chibi commissions sometime next month, since I've found myself in quite a pinch - money-wise :/

So I was thinking if there would be any interest in inked, coloured and shadowed chibi commissions of your characters, such as these:

Sooo...
I'm pretty busy at the moment :o
I have an exam on Tuesday and on Wednesday I will be leaving for Copenhagen to eventually fly to Iceland on the 27th :D
I haven't been there for over 2 years, so I will be there (on vacation and to see my family) for a while. 3-4 weeks actually...
So, meanwhile I will leave my laptop behind at home and probably won't be uploading any art ;_;
But I might make a few doodles to show afterwards, and get some work done on my comissions/trades :3

I just woke up and am just collecting my mind right now...
Also, I'm trying very hard to remember as many details as possible from a dream I just had.
Now, this dream wasn't just any dream. It might seem unsignifigant to others, but this dream is the best, happiest dream I've ever had XD
I really rarely dream, and if I do I usually just have nightmares.

Anyway, I just have to write it down so I won't forget it:
I was at a reunion of some sort with people I went in 'boarding school' with 7 years ago. I hung out with some of my friends, until everyone had to go to the movies. So, when we were about to sit down infront of the movie screen, I see him :o
I had the biggest crush on him from when I was 15.

I went to that school for 2 years, and all I could think of was him and how much I longed for his attention. Eventually he found out, we talked, but he couldn't see us as a couple/didn't like me like that. Now, I've changed alot since then. Both in appearance and personality. And even lately, the fact that I never had what I wanted has bothered me and fueled this longing for him.. only in a more twisted way

So, there he is sitting in the movie theatre and I suddently realize that I'm wearing the clothes I did back then. Not feeling decent enough to be around him, I rush off and get changed (lulz?). When I get back, he's not sitting there anymore but sitting at a bar, behind the movie theatre, looking sad, so I sit down to keep him company. I can't remember what we were supposed to have been talking about, but eventually it gets late and everyone has to head home, and when he is hugging me goodbye (I've always had a soft-spot for those hugs <3 ) he asks if I want to go to the movies some other time, and I say that I would love to. His suprise made me just realize that he just asked me for a date, and the happiest feeling washes over me (not just in the dream)

I kinda hate the fact that I actually still want him XD It's really out of character fo me...


Eh.. in contrast to when I started on this journal, I am now fully awake and just realized what a silly thing it would be to post this...

I'm having some problems with combining my shading and colouring in photoshop.
Now, I love colouring stuff and I love shading in monochrome, but I do not know how to combine the two in photoshop :/

So, if you know of any good shading/colouring tutorials or feel like telling me your secret of your own shading/colouring method, please share :3

(also a noob question: how do I copy different layers into a seperate, merged layers, with the original layers still being seperate?)

So, I've grown a bit restless and am in need of a major change.
Since I've been lacking alot self-esteem lately, I thought it should be an improvement of my looks somehow. So, I think it's time for an other haircut :D

To dye my hair completely pink again!
I've only had my hair pink, back when it was really short, and I'd love to see what it's look like, now that my hair is long and I have a fringe.
Drawbacks: I will have to bleach my hair intensively to get rid of the black and to get an even colour. Pretty, even platin-blonde is impossible, so I'll have to settle with yellow and even brown in places, but the pink dye will cover most of it up. But the pink hair-dye tends to fade off very quickly, so I might have to dye my hair every 2-3 weeks.

What I'd like #1b:
See above, but with a black fringe :D
(this would probably be attempted after I get tired of the all-pink hair)

I've gotten a suprising amount of watches and faves lately, which made me realize that there are people out there who actually like looking at my art, and even a few who keep returning to look for more.

Me and my boyfriend are selling one of our ferrets Bambina and have a few ads up on the net.
So, yesterday we got a call from somone that was interested in her. Very interested, he actually bid a higher price than the original one, because there were a few others interested in her.
So we talk briefly, but I get the impression that he's very friendly and eager to come see her and I was suppused to call him today.

So, now I just got off the phone.
I rang to the number he gave me; "Hi, we talked about my ferret yesterday - "
He sounded really confused, then told me he didin't call me..
but that someone else had been calling all sorts of people with ads on the net and gave them his number :/

Is it just me, or is there no point in a prank like that? XO
It's already hard enough having to give Bambina up.. I just want a good home for her :(

Oh wow, I am so horribly behind schedual on my comissions D:
I've been swamped, ill and stressed out, and now when I want to get them finished; My lamp doesn't work D:

So, yea.. gonna buy some light bulbs tomorrow and plan on finishing them before next weekend.

Luckily I don't charge until after I'm finished, so I havn't gotten any complaints lately X3

After over about 2 years of.. well; happiness, I finally feel a depression sinking over me
It scares me alot, since it reminds me of who I was back then and how absolutely miserable I was.
I don't want to go back to that state of mind but I can feel it coming, and unpreventable future events will make the progress faster and even more painful.

Back then I barely had the strength to survive a normal week-day.. I just remember how my own thoughts drove me mad, the fear of the past, present and the future, how I felt so constantly sick to my stomach and felt like throwing up due to the pain inside.
And oh god.. the neverending stream of tears.
I hate crying.

Just thought I'd put this up, so I could appreciate it when I look back in my journal
