I found joy in drawing again! It's not in completed, detailed art, but in doodles~
I used to be so afraid to pick up a pencil because I was scared of making something ugly after spending so much time in it.
So, I'm going to submit my unfinished works when I find the time to draw. I still don't have much time to relax and draw due to school and my demanding ass job and my mental health issues makes relaxing a mission...but still I'll try to draw what I want.

When I'm with people I feel fine, sometimes irritated with the occasional mood dipping slightly down for no reason. When I'm alone I feel sad and pathetic

Does anyone have experience with repressed emotions? I realized that I have so much repressed anger but I just can't bring it out of me. I know it's there and my chest hurts but I can't bring myself to feel the anger...any advice? I'm getting counseling but I feel like I need an immediate solution or knowing I'm not alone.

I'm thinking of making less art since it's been years since I've made a huge art project. Sketches just don't feel fulfilling anymore. Drawing takes so much energy from me and nothing I make feels right or worthy of uploading. It's scary to me because art has been super important to me ever since I was a child. It feels like losing a huge part of myself.

So my plan is to redirect my energy towards something new and interesting: game making. I plan on making short games or at least experimenting with different game-making programs. Yes, some art will be involved but not that much.

Don't worry I'll still be on FA lurking and following artists but I just feel that I can't make art anymore. Maybe in the future I'll find that spark again, but for now I'm going to try new things.

I know it sounds spoiled but shush I'm gonna rant.
My current job (in the contract) says work days are Monday-Friday, BUT in order to get things done it's more like a Monday-Sunday work schedule >.<
I also use Saturdays to go to the doctor's since I can't go during the week. I'm also taking a certification class to have more job security.
Speaking of doctors, my current doctor is always on vacation...I tried making an appointment twice and he was out for those days. The only day he was at the hospital he had no slots left to be seen and I'm running out of meds...AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

So I can't find the time/energy/motivation/inspiration to lift a pencil.

TL;DR: LIFE IS ATTACKING ME AND I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR ART.

Hey nerds, I think I identify as non-binary but idk...I just want to hear your guys experiences with finding your identity/form of expression if you have anything.
For me, it's not like I was a caterpillar who finally came out of their cocoon. I feel the same, but I also feel confused and I dunno why. But I'm definitely not gonna tell my family anytime soon haha ^^;
