Now that I'm on break from commissions I want to decide if I should keep my prices how they are or if I should change them. I have a hard time figuring out how much my drawings are actually worth, like at what point are people gonna say "oh that's overpriced no thanks." I'm finding it difficult to look at my own stuff objectively and set appropriate prices.

So, if anyone would like to give some hard honesty, I'd really appreciate opinions about how much you think my drawings are actually worth. As in, how much would you pay for it while still feeling that it's pretty reasonable?

I've had too much junk to do lately and the last couple commissions i've had people ask me for have been taking too long for my liking. So for now i'm gonna just finish  amorazeckel 's commission and after that I'm gonna be on break for a while.

I'm still not sure if i want to get one but in case i do, it would be cool to hear what kind some of you have and if you think it's a good one. also how much did it cost? i'd hope not to spend more than like $50-$60 on it but i dunno if i could get a decent one at that price.

I kinda resent the fact that this website shows porn right on the front page. Now I have no problem with the porn itself, nor do I think it should be taken off the site. But I think it would make us look a lot better overall if that stuff had its own sectioned off category. I mean, most normal people like porn, but we usually don't introduce ourselves like, "hi, I'm __ and this is the type of porn I'm into!"

I've pretty much come to acceptance that this is just how the furry community is. And that's okay, it just makes it tough for me to want to introduce my friends to this website/community. I feel like they'll instantly have the wrong impression of why I'm here.

I've been thinking a lot about fursonas and how different everyone is about theirs. Like, I've noticed a lot of furries refer to their character as "me" while others just call them "he/she." So I'm curious, to anyone who wants to talk about it, what does your fursona/character represent or mean to you exactly?

mine is basically a cartoon version of myself. Like if I were to be in a cartoon I'd be Mercury. for some reason human cartoon characters have never appealed to me very much. animals are just cuter I guess :3

so i decided i just want to set some basic rules for requesting me. it's been really awesome getting all the requests i've been getting and so far none of this has been much of a problem but i figured it's best that it's all out there.

-limit 2 per requester. i'm cool with drawing stuff for the same person more than once, and if you give it plenty of time i'd be happy to do more. but if i've already done a couple drawings for you recently, wait a while and give some other people a chance.

-only PG-13 stuff. i only do cartoon nudity (no genitals) and nothing overtly sexual. i don't really care if it's fetish-related as long as I decide that the image itself would be innocent enough for my gallery. (just look at my gallery if you want to get an idea.)

-this one isn't really a big deal, but if you can, give me an idea of what you want. an expression, pose, whether you'd prefer digitigrade or plantigrade, etc. just so i know i won't choose a pose that doesn't fit your character at all or something. (if you really don't give a shit, don't worry about this haha. i'd just prefer you were as happy as possible with it.)


also, I will have 3 spaces for requests at a time. if there is already 3 names on the list please check back in a little while.

so I wanted to mention something about requests. if you ask me to draw something for you, I want you to like it. therefore, if there's something about what I give you that you don't like, feel free to let me know. if I left out some detail you wanted in there, or the colors don't look right...you won't hurt my feelings by telling me, I'm certainly not a professional and I fuck things up sometimes. I can't 100% guarantee that I can make you love it, but if i can fix something for you, I would like to. especially since I hope to work my way up to taking commissions someday!

sooo I'm not all that knowledgeable on digital art. I like it but so far I really only know how to do basic things. (I have been using gimp by the way.) if anyone has any tips for coloring toons digitally that would be awesome! :P
oh and, I don't have a tablet but I have a scanner.
