Just a reminder to those who volunteered to contribute to our group collaborative story, it IS still open for sumbmissions!

Well this is new! It seems our community really is growing, and faster than I thought! In this upcoming game, called Furvilla, you can choose from a variety of different merfur and non-mer based furry characters to play with. There are several blank merfur bases available for you to put your character into. I personally think this is really cool, and was honestly really surprised to see other parts of the furry community embracing merfur style characters!

So  xy-merfox suggested a collaborative Merfur story and we think its a really cool idea! Just making this journal to get a head-count of how many people would want to get involved!

His idea specifically was to collaboratively write a story 'about a merfur location being discovered, explored, and perhaps inhabited by "newly-made" merfurs; that is, those who've joined the Group' We think it would be a fun and social experience that would get the community going a little bit more for the members of this group and help us put ourselves out there more too! Please let us know what you think! (:

So, as this group has now established itself I figured I would let all you guys know about my main page/irl account. Note: I am keeping as the group mascot and will continue to run the group as normal, so don't worry about anything changing too much!

Actually, the reason I am doing this is because I want to be more open in my offline social life about us aquatic furs and do what I can to put us out there even more! Do not fear, I am still with you fellow merfurs! ;D

Basically, what I've tried to do is feature one work from each artist who has drawn/commissioned something along the lines of merfur and provide a fair and balanced list to feature that art together. If anyone has any suggestions for other art that I have not yet favorited/featured let me know!
