On November 20th, my family and I had to put our dog Merlin down. The one I named my sona off of. He was an old boy, but his back and legs were going and he was not what he use to be. It was hard, but my family and I are getting on with things as best as we can.

So if anyone was wondering why my display name of here and on Discord has changed, now you know.

We got Merlin back in 2011, when I was 11 years old. I remember my dad picking me up from school and taking me to the car where I first saw him. Small, nervous but very sweet and curious. He was the best dog I could ever have wished for. Cuddly, playful and sensitive. He would never leave our side. He was spoiled rotten. We took him on trips to the beach, took him swimming, played in the snow. He did everything a dog could ask for. Up until his last moments, he loved life, but I think he knew his time was up too.

I've been grieving with family over the last few days, but also trying to keep up my routines as best as I can. Just today we sat together having breakfast. There was sadness at first, but as we started talking and reminiscing about his life, we smiled and laughed. It gave me a lot of hope.

I need to give a huge thank you to my friends David and Bobby, who sat on me on calls for hours to let my tears out and give me company. I can't thank them enough.

Don't worry, I won't be going, but I'm not gonna be to active for some time. I'm still thinking how I want to use my account on here going forward.

Another full year around the sun. I'm now 25 years old. Geez...quarter of my life.

I'm gonna continue my Twitch playthrough of Luigi's Mansion 3 for the first hour. Then for the second hour I'm gonna start a new game. Come join me if you can.

Now it is the right time to get this off my chest.

My family and I are moving house at the end of this week. As of February 19 I will be leaving my childhood home I’ve been in for 23 years. This isn’t for a bad reason though. The new house is great (but does need some work) and the area were moving to has better job prospects and transport links.

I am a little sad to leave, but it’s also a new chapter. As long as my family and friends are by my side, I’ll be happy.

My internet goes off as of tomorrow, so I won’t be around until either next Monday or Tuesday. Once I get settled I plan to get more active on here again.

24 years old as of today.

Got some great cards from friends and family and got Super Mario RPG for my Switch. I’m so happy to finally get to play it now. Family and I are going out for a meal later today which will be nice. I never really have a party on my birthday but I’m not really a party person.

The best part of this day though is that I share it with my mum. Yes my mum and I have the same birthday. That makes it extra special.

The new music video for Steps What The Future holds has come out. I think it looks amazing and perfectly suits the song. I've pre-ordered the album and cannot wait till November for it to be released.

Seems a bit weird to say here but this has made me feel over the moon!

Steps have been my favourite pop band since I was young and are now releasing their new album, What The Future Holds on November 27. The title track has just been released as a single and I absolutely love it!
