Jobless Again
Posted 14 years agoOh, this figures.
Got my third write-up for $31 of instant lottery mysteriously going missing.
Part of me wants to think it was just an error on my part, but the other thinks it was probably set up that way to get me fired. I wrote a note last night to my boss about others dumping their work on me and asked her to talk to them about it. Of course they don't like the complains but I felt like it needed resolved. (which, in a way, they did resolve it by taking me out of the picture) I've always done my best to get my work done and I just got sick of having pick up after that last shift all the time.
Anyhow, I'm unemployed again. So I'll have plenty of time to do commissions and such.
If your interested in a commission, please send me a message.
Thanks!

Drugs + Parenting: Problems Today - Gone Torammow?
Posted 15 years ago Theres so many parents out there that drug up their kids (with drugs like ritalin and such), so they don't have to deal with them.
And theres many more that get their kids diagnosed with disabilities just so they can get an extra paycheck.
It's really sad.
Yeah, turning your kid into a zombie may sound like less hell, but is it really worth not knowing them? - Not truly knowing whats going on with them?
And it really doesn't solve the kid's problems. Drugging them only masks them.
Whatever may be the issue, whether it be school-related, family-related or something else entirely, that problem hasn't changed.
Its still there, only now your kid is too drugged up to show that it is there.
Also, what happens when they're taken off the medication?
Will the kid know how to take and handle their problems?
No.
Mostlikely, they'll try to find a way to go back to the way it was before, when the drugs did all the handling for them.
In the end, the kid will mostlikely turn to illegal drugs.
So, parents, ask yourself:
Have I really tried everything I could to find and fix whatever is causing my kid to act the way he/she does?
Is this pill really going to help my kid in the long-run?
Do I really care?
And heres a question from me.
How can you really call yourself a good parent when the medication is doing all the 'parenting' for you?

This New Town is SO AWESOME
Posted 15 years agoNo. Not really. Its pretty boring here...
I don't know anyone.
Atleast its quiet.
On another note, built a dog pin in the backyard...
Well, I guess its nice to actually have a yard.
Its no fun playing alone though. =/
Sorry for my angst.

Moving
Posted 15 years agoMy grandmother passed away earlier this month, and so my dad inherited her house.
Even though the terms are crappy, I'm very happy to be finally moving into a house.
I'm mostly looking foward to having a backyard with plenty of room to garden and hold get-togethers.
The town we'll be moving into is fairly small, which also means its quiet and easy to move around.
My dad doesn't like the idea of moving back into his hometown, mostly because he likes fast food services, which there are none there.
I feel like it'll be a nice, fresh start to a happier, healthier life.
Yes, It'll suck to not have intown access to my friends, but that doesn't mean I won't make the effort to see them.
Well, anyway, my wing itches, Cyndi Lauper is in my head, and I'm starting to get hungry, so I'mmago now.
