Whoa returning at last

Happy New Year!
So this break wasn't as productive as my last break but I still got some decent work out there. I'll be tweaking my style around a bit this next quarter because I'm taking industrial design painting class which uses primarily soft round brushes. I may apply some of the strategies that the instructor shows us in my future work. maybe.
I've got a couple of concept design jobs now which is extremely exciting for me because I just finished my first year of college! Sadly they do not pay but hey, I don't think I should be paid just yet for my work. I need a ton of more practice and studies, which I intend on doing this coming term.
Uhh what else.
I'll be uploading more over the next couple of months so stay tuned or whatever you do. haha

So I just got into a club at my school and the members seem really neat. I'll be doing the concept art for an animation they'll be showing in March at my school, in which I'll be designing these little mechanical insects, in orthographic views, as well as making storyboards for the next couple of weeks. I've sworn myself into secrecy so I can't say much more about it until it comes out. I've been bogged down with a ton of homework but I have been working on personal projects in between classes and homework, and now this! Hopefully I'm not being too lame for you guys..
This is my first year of college and so much has happened. Before this year, I wasn't doing much of anything artistic wise, I really didn't even know how to use photoshop! (Although most of the things I know now was mostly self-taught). My main goal right now is to get as much as I can from my figure drawing classes and absorb the skills of the students around me, until they are All MINE HAHAA!

Anyway. Stick with me here. I feel like I'm neglecting my studies if I'm not working on homework. We'll get through this,

Just an update

I feel like my style is everywhere right now and I want to grab hold of something to ground my fundamentals on, so I chose some artists to help me do this.
You should expect my color usage to be on the minimum! Also, I'm going to try to keep up on the furry stuff although, samurai stuff is really awesome. I may incorporate both! Thanks :)

Moving and such
Posted 13 years agoFirst of all, I'm just gonna throw this out there, I am ocd about my art so it takes me forever to actually get things done but I am.. slowly. I'll deliver another sketch dump soon as well as another piece or something (Hopefully by tonight). But the reason behind this journal post is that I am moving into a new apartment on saturday with my friend, 
PhantoMinus and I will finally have internet from a reliable source. omg out of the slums. Anyways, this means I'll be on here more, furring or whatever, as well as getting reference images for more drawings.
