Ok, the band itself might not be the best people around, but the music's better than most of the dog poo they play on the radio here in the states. ;p

1) List your favourite three music genres:
+ Techno/Trance (Anything but the hardest/fastest stuff)
+ 80s (Ok, 'classy pop' describes this really really well. ^_^)
+ Power metal (I'd include at least some 'hair metal')

2) Give a list up to ten of your current favourite artists (you mean THIS week?)
+ Gigi D'Agostino (If THIS ain't random, well...)
+ Pink Floyd (About as mainstream as I'll ever get)
+ Seeed
+ My Chemical Romance (An island in a sea of stupidity? At least the only newer mainstream group I like.)
+ Supertramp (I swear, they're the messiahs of us freaks)
+ Coldplay

3) List up to 5 genres you dislike/hate
+ Gangsta rap. I swear, this is an insult to the real genre.
+ Hip-Hop. just... eww.
+ "Screamo" (Are all the modern "rock" groups taking a mass stupidity drug or something?!)
+ DEATH!!! Metal. Ok guys, screaming to a few repeated bars ain't any more melodic than rapping to them. At least rappers I can detect words. >.>

4) Why?
+ Too monotonous from a MENTAL/EMOTIONAL standpoint. If I wanted to hear people mindlessly whine about themselves while strangling a helpless electric guitar, I'd... well, I don't even know WHERE you'd find such a horrible combination. x_X;
+ "Too monotonous -- sounds like someone's written a few bars and looped them continuously while the 'singer(s)' drones over the top." (Thank you Sandwalker! Took the words right out of my tortured birdy brain. ;p )
+ Most of the worst doesn't even feel like it has a beat. Or rhythm.


5) Name 3 artists from despised genres
+ Any black (or white) (gangsta) rapper... Ludacris irks me a bit more, personally. Least Eninem's got some interesting lyrics.
+ Three Days Grace
+ Papa Roach


6) Are you a Mainstream Sheep/Herd Person, Undergroundist or somewhere between the two?
+ I am both... and neither. ;p I don't give a rats what everyone else likes, popular or rebel, my ears are the final judge.


7) How many PHYSICAL CDs do you own?
+ Technically... 10. Arrr! *eyepatch*


8) Where do you purchase your music primarily?
+ Everywhere. No, really, this is one of the (few?) subjects where I can lump the internet, Target, the asian markets and pagan shops in the same subject.

Ya know, few things can make me jump the bandwagon... especially when they involve random wordwars... but this is one of them. Fun situation, aside from the fact that the surrounding cloud of drama has gummed up the works and revived the 90-second pageloads I've grown to know and love. ;p

If I choose to do a full-out response to this issue, chances are it'll be a morally disturbing artpiece that'll have Simba in it... and be G-rated, surprisingly. ;p

However I'd like to point out something big (has anyone noticed this?)

All the artists I've heard screaming LOUDLY about this decision, storming out in a cold rage, even the GOOD ones... none of them (as far as i've seen) have posted art in at least a month, maybe more (if ever). Funny that...

I swear if/when I ditch this site, it'll probably be because of the loading times. We had a long, decent period of this site going speedy so I'm hoping this muckyslowness won't last much longer.
