Oh boy, first journal ever!
Posted 15 years agoWell, journals, the gateway into horrible spelling and a crap ton of drama as I see it. So I'll avoid that and talk about a fun game I've played recently instead, and also mention I may or may not be writing crap again.
That game is Super Mario Galaxy 2, and I found it to be a nice sequel to the original Mario Galaxy. Bringing forward a few new power ups and game mechanics, along with (spoilers) 120 extra stars that are actually original this time, unlike the 120 extra in the first game. The story is pretty normal for a Mario game as well, Princess Peach is making a cake, hey there's Bowser, oh no, plot twist, he kidnapped her! As I see it this game is sort of an alternate version of the original Galaxy, with many of the same characters appearing in it, but totally ignoring the first game's plot really.
Though I do have a few problems with this game that I think could have been ironed out before release. One of these being a certain galaxy by the name of Twisty Trials, which is a remake of a mini level from good old Super Mario Sunshine. Now this is all fine and good, except for the part where the spinning blocks randomly make you slide off into the endless death pit and refuse to allow you save yourself. Otherwise glitch free though the game is enjoyable, even if Yoshi's controls at times can feel a bit loose in my opinion.
Well, I hope you enjoyed Meta's first journal, and hopefully the random crap I write in the future.
Ciao.
