Remember that quite some time ago I made a journal post talking about how Pokkuti was gonna make a a comic for me?

Well, I finally got the answer!

And the answer is no.

He's not gonna make a comic for me.

Maybe sometime in the future I will write what exactly happened, but at the moment I don't feel like I'm at liberty to discuss this.
But I guess the question has been answered now.

Caella's pictures are now gone from my gallery, like I promised.
Some that I really liked and that also featured my characters, have been moved to scraps, but the rest have been deleted.
If you noticed that one of your favorite pictures is now gone and you forgot to save it, ask me about it and I'll send it to you.
I still have all of them on my PC.

So yeah, just wanna give everyone a heads up that I'm gonna remove all the pics containing Caella from my gallery soon.
I might leave some of them in scraps, especially ones that have characters of mine it, but the rest will probably be removed permanently.

The reason for this being that she was never really my character and I haven't spoken to the creator of the character in a pretty long while.
Unfortunately she also played an important role in the stories of characters of mine that I really love, like Bonnie, Mikiri, Reina and Ellie.
Because I don't want to change a huge portion of their backstories, as two of these characters were married to Caella, I'm gonna retcon things a bit and just replace her by my own character, who will fill a similar role.

Basically, I'm just gonna replace all references to Caella with the name Winter. :P
Who is a character I hope to be introduce to you very soon!

Anyway, long story short: If you really like her and haven't already done so, please save her pictures while you still can, because they will be going away soon.

So quite some time ago I mentioned that Pokkuti is going to draw a comic for me because Mikiri won the heavyweight section of his bodybuilding contest...
I had an idea for a comic that would have been pretty neat, but now that I've seen an example comic of another contestant, I'm not sure it's going to work.
Basically it's a lot shorter than I was expecting: Only four pages and Pokkuti tends to draw pretty big, so not a lot fits on these pages...

Since i'm a bit short on ideas, I wanted to know what YOU would like to see!
Doesn't really matter what it is, don't be shy! Just tell me what you personally would like to see Mikiri get up to!

So guys, you may remember that Mikiri took part in Pokkuti's Pinnacle of Physique contest and right now she has 42% of the votes for the heavyweight category!
This means she might actually win!
If so, Pokkuti will make a 4 page comic for me.
I actually never considered the possibility that I might win, so this took me completely by surprise.
I kind of have a vague idea of what I could ask for, but I wanted to see if any of you had a better idea!

At the moment I'm kind of inclined to give the audience what they want and have Mikiri show off some real "muscle control" like she promised in the comic.

Sirina's "armour" is in desperate need of a redesign and I was wondering if any of you knew any (preferably reasonably priced) artists who are partially good at designing armour.
Even better if they're good at making titillating armour!

It's just like the title states.
I need a bit of extra inspiration for a possible series of pics I have in mind, involving Qaos Queens characters like Caella, Mikiri and Adela.
Right now I have a few ideas like lifting a mountain or ripping a landmass in two, but that's kind of it.
At first I was thinking of shattering a diamond between pecs or something, but that seems kind of tame compared to those previous two.
(Though I'm pretty sure a lot of people would love to see Adela crush some diamonds between her boobs)
Now I'm not looking for cosmic ridiculousness a la silver age Superman, like tossing around celestial bodies and stuff. I don't want it to get quite THAT silly!

So if anyone has any ideas I'd greatly appreciate it!

Greetings everyone! I am currently working on a new story, set in the same world as Qaos Queens, entitled Kingdom of the Night. But I think I need a bit of help coming up with a good name for said kingdom and I was hoping someone out there could offer some suggestions.

The kingdom is on a fairly large island. Not exactly the size of Great Britain or anything,
more like the size of the Shetland Isles, Lewis and Harris or Gotland.
There’s one large coastal city, which is also the capital, and for the rest mainly just small villages. The country isn’t very rich in resources, making a living off things like fish and agriculture.
Geography wise the island is pretty hilly, not exactly mountainous, but there’s a lot of ups and downs all over the place. The capital is built on a slope, with the royal castle on the highest point.
Most buildings have a look that’s a bit of a mix of German Renaissance style and that combination of renaissance and gothic style that you find in a lot of historic Romanian buildings.
Lot’s of pointy spires and timber framed houses with dark oak and what have you.
The city is very heavily fortified and looks like it was built in “levels”, with every part surrounded by a high wall, with the castle at the top of course having the most fortified wall.

The reason they call it the Kingdom of the Night is because centuries ago it used to be ruled over by an evil tyrant known as the King of Darkness, who had plunged the island into eternal night with his dark magic. His evil rule lasted for a considerable time, until a powerful wizard confronted him and managed to split his shadow, the source of his power, in two.
One of the pieces remained in the possession of the King of Darkness while the other one joined with the wizard. With his newfound might the wizard managed to destroy the King, but what remained of his shadow unfortunately managed to escape and began looking for a new host body.
Hailed as the savior by the people of the island the wizard was crowned king and his descendant continued to rule the kingdom for the coming generations.
Unfortunately the shadow eventually found a new host body and returned to terrorize the kingdom. Through the coming centuries the two halves of the King of Darkness continued to war with one another. The good half going by the name of the King of the Night, while the other one had been reduced to being called the King of Shadows (a name he of course despises). Sometimes the King of the Night would emerge victorious and other times the King of Shadows. Both shades went through several host bodies, with the descendants of wizard serving as host bodies for the Shade of the Night, while the Shade of Darkness just forcefully took over the mind of the strongest person he could find at the time. But unfortunately the power of the Shade of Darkness was always somewhat stronger than that of the Night, so often the royal family would go through their kings rather quickly.
And the battle between the two Shades still rages on to this very day, as every night the capital is attacked by the minions of darkness.

So yeah...any ideas for a good name?
I’m probably going to go with mostly Germanic sounding names for the people that live there, so maybe we should go in a similar direction for the name of the island?

I think some of you must be wondering what’s keeping me from uploading all the new art they know I have to my gallery…
Well, as you probably have found out, I like writing stories to accompany each picture. And I’ve hit a bit of a writer’s block. I have this old picture of a demonic Caella lying around that I’m writing a story about (the sequel to this) and I’m a little stuck.
To make matters worse, it sort of ties in to Adela's story, so I pretty much have to finish it!

So please have patience, the new stuff is coming. I just really need to finish this story first…

So, a while ago I wanted a new pic of my character Adela, so I started to look around for commissionable artists. After some looking around I stumbled upon this guy called Rhemora. His art style looked familiar, I vaguely remembered checking out his gallery in the past, and it seemed like he was regularly doing commissions. His prices were a little higher than what I was used to, but I liked his style and he seemed pretty professional, so I decided to hire his services.
The initial contact proceeded very smoothly. He seemed like a very friendly guy who expressed excitement over drawing Adela, so I thought: This is going to turn out great! So I paid him the sum he was asking for.
But several weeks later after hearing nothing new from him I decided to message him to inquire when I’d get to see the first sketch.
No answer.
Several days later I sent him another message.
Nothing.
Another week later I message him again.
Still nothing.
After that much time had passed I started thinking about sending a complaint to Paypall, but I first wanted to give him one last chance. Maybe he wasn’t able to get to his computer or something, you never know.
So I went over to his page on Deviantart to see if there weren’t any alternative ways of contacting and that’s when I suddenly noticed this pic entitled “Commission for Metalliumzer0”: http://rhemora.deviantart.com/art/C.....zer0-529379172
Not only had he completed the piece without telling me, it also came out looking completely different than what I had asked for. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed.
So I sent him another message to voice my displeasure with his work. Of course, he didn’t react.
Only when I started threatening him with reporting him to Paypall I finally got a reply.
He started apologizing and asked me what exactly the problem was. And me, being the gullible idiot that I am, accepted his apology and told him that he didn’t need to make any major changes to the pic, that I’d be happy if he just made some minor changes to her facial expression.
But now another month has passed and he still hasn’t made any changes.
I’ve pretty much given up on the guy.
Needless to say…I’m NEVER commissioning him again. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with an artist.
He doesn’t give you any feedback. He doesn’t show any WIP. And (to me) worst of all, he’s a two faced liar who’s just after your money. On the surface he seems very nice, but afterwards it becomes apparent he doesn’t care what you think.
I’ve learned a very important lesson from all of this though: NEVER pay an artist up front for a commission if you’ve never done any business with them before. No matter how good their reputation is. Always pay half first and the rest after you’ve okayed the WIP. That way there can be no misunderstandings and there will (probably) be no arguing afterwards.

Also, just to clarify, I don’t think it’s a bad drawing, not at all.
The pose and facial expression are just completely different than what I asked for.

I’ve recently commissioned DragonmanX to draw me the exact same thing. He did a much better job, so expect to see his work going up in my gallery soon.
In hindsight I should have commissioned him from the start…

Sorry about the rant guys, I just really needed to get this of my chest.

In closing: NEVER commission Rhemora. He’s a jerk.

I'm doing a call-out to everyone who likes female muscle art!
Two very talented artists on Deviantart, Higalack and Mikazuki are doing sketch commissions to help out their friend DrasticAction who's in urgent need of money.
Both these artists are very talented and only very rarely do commissions. So if you want some great FM art (or in Mikazuki's case, any kind of muscle, she's also pretty good at drawing guys!), now's your chance!

I already threw my money at both of them! :D

In other news, my pall,  morbo22 is also in need of some extra cash, so he's doing sketches for the extremely low price of $5!
He's the one who made such art like: This and that! So you can't go wrong!

Well...not literally, but Mikiri is going to be in a game called N30N City Rumble! A card game based on those beat 'em up video games of the 80s and 90s!
I helped the creator of the game out with some stuff and as thanks he put my character, Mikiri, in his game!

I see this as a younger, alternate universe version of Mikiri, because obviously she looks a bit different from her usual self. Still a pretty awesome design though!
