Posted 7 years agoFirst journal I've made and I think it's going toward something that's been on my mind for a while.
I think I'm too hard on myself when it comes to my own art. Every time I end up finishing something I just become really self conscious and wonder to myself, "Is it good enough? Did I not try my hardest?" It's especially evident when it's gift art for people. There's always those lingering thoughts in the back of my mind going, "What if they don't like it? What if they're just being nice to you so they don't hurt your feelings?"
I know that isn't the case but it's just something that eats away at the back of my head. I dunno. I guess this all just comes down to wanting to be better. There's lots of areas I could improve on. Even the longest practicing artist always finds ways to improve.
I dunno. Bun has just had some weird thoughts lately amongst other things..
