Commission/Art slave question!
Posted 13 years agoWould anyone be interested in commissioning me for 2 weeks (as much art as you'd like!) for 100USD? I currently have 80USD saved, but I dont think I'll have save enough in time for my mate to come pay me a visit by the time we were talking. I don't want to offer art slave and be disappointed that no one is interested, I personally think 100USD is a steal for how much detail and time I put into my work, for an infinite amount in 2 weeks.

had a situation where we bought a Rat at Petco and HE turned out to be a very pregnant SHE and we need to save up for supplies, as well, because we refused to give her back to the store. They were going to send her back to 'vendor', where they'll let her have her babies, profit off them, and probably euthanize her for being too old to sell. You can find the rant in detail on 's journal. I'm doing free art and accepting donations. Post your ref here, and I'll do it!

Posted 13 years agoSo I get the commission several months ago. I start working on it, and I scrap it because I'm unhappy with the result. And I vanish for a while, due to IRL complications.
I come back, apologize for the delay, get to work, finish said commission and uploaded. All parties seem happy.
It's been a month since I uploaded said piece, and suddenly, they're unhappy with the result and want me to completely re haul it; do I have a right to be upset?
Because I kind of feel like, since my style's improved, they just want a free piece because my newer uploads are considerably better in quality.
Should I completely redo this piece? Should I tell them no? I don't feel like I have the time to redo it even if I wanted to, considering I'm moving in two days, which will be a three day drive, and then I'll have a very hellish schedule in college.
Anyone else have this problem?
P.S. (VERY IMPORTANT)
Also, I've purposely left out the said commissioner's name out of RESPECT, don't think this a personal attack on you, because it's not. I put time and effort what I did for you, and I don't appreciate you not telling me immediately and then expecting me to completely redo the piece. I'd also appreciate it if you didn't post in this thread, because that's a shit fight waiting to happen. And no, I will not tell anyone else who said commissioner is, because unnecessary drama is unnecessary.
