I've got a full download of Adobe CS3 right here sitting on my computer...waiting on a pass key that can never come, cause the person whose computer it was on previously...lost the computer without properly deleting the files, and the key he sent with the discs wasn't working. So, right now, a bit screwed. And using a corrupted version of CS1 Photoshop that doesn't quite work right.
I'd love to have that pass key...or if the CS2 freebies that Adobe was offering are still valid, hell, I'd settle for that. Help? Anyone? ANd no, switching to Sai or anything else is not an option. At least not right now. Once the new system is here, we'll see.

Heheheh posted with hir permission. Shi went to a fur party she attends once a month...with the intent to ink and color some pics. Shi sorted through the paperwork, for the commission notes and coloring information for several pictures....then put them back into the pile of paperwork and promptly forgot to take them with hirself. I haven't laughed that hard in a long long while. And I still suffer occasional gigglefits all of Sunday today when I think about it. Which makes typing this difficult. >.> But just a thought I thought I should share. Heheheh.

Getting back to working. Got new technique refined, and commissions should now more or less be posting sometime in the next week. >.> Yay! Stability rocks!

Lead singer of GWAR died. One of the very very few people I've ever been able to talk to out in public, and at San Diego Comic Con back in....03 or 04? Before my mental state got more complicated...I find myself rather upset and sad at the moment. He was only 50. So I guess it's true. Candle that burns twice as hot, only lasts half as long. I treasure the few minutes I had with him and his mates. I smile remembering the laughter and embarassment when these nice gents in three piece suits, all smiles and kindness, introduced themselves as GWAR, whom until then I only ever knew as that awesomely epic group with the fantasy armor and giant toilet monster. I smile and I will celebrate. Shed a tear, and raise a pint. Thanks Oderus. You're gonna be missed by A lot of people.

Nynaeve's Chocolate Labrador, Coco, got really sick. Apparently either an allergic reaction or sensitivity to something eaten, has caused a lot of upchucking and loose bowels. Poor dear is going to be okay, but the bill was horrendous at the vet...$500+. So, whule paid off, we're a bit stuck in a hole. And I was wondering if anyone out there could possibly donate to help? UPDATE: Coco developed rather serious rashes today, but her energy returned, and her appetite is back (and how!) so mixed news there. Vet seems to think it's a contact allergy, which could mean either something at the dog park Nyn and friend attended on Thursday last week had something in the dust and dirt, or something in his yard or the kiddy pool she splashed around in caused this rash. As for the other symptoms, that could be in line with ingestion or contact as well. All in all a rather serious allergic reaction. We've drained the pool at home and are in the process of cleansing the entire back yard, but if it's a common allergen, ugh. Don't know what to do.

MORE UPDATE: Coco's doing better. Appetite is back with a vengeance and hives are clearing up. Potty troubles still existing, but small steps every day. <:)

YET MORE UPDATE: Coco's almost completely better now. Except...the steroids she is taking to deal with the hives...have her leaking like a sieve. >.<!!! So Nynaeve and I are swimmin' in dog weewee right now. This is getting...funny. Cause Coco is at least getting better.

RainFurrest Dealer's Den sold out...this is what happens when you get out of the loop on a lot of conventions...so it's MAYBE either sharing space or possibly just relying on the Artist's Alley, which I don't think Nynaeve would mind, but it's probably gonna be a zoo...heheheh. What to do, what to do...We DO need more conventions to get more commissions and make more money.

Our tablet was stolen sometime during the escape from FC's convention hotel. We really need a replacement tablet. Right now though, we, Nynaeve and I, have a total of $60 we can spend. Our target? Hopefully around $240 for a new ASUS Google Nexus 7. We loved that Edan Ematic, at a humble $100, but the improved tablet could be a godsend. *shrug* I dunno anymore. I'm too damned upset and irritable right now.

Monday, just so everyone knows, Nynaeve and I are going to be celebrating our birthday month. Another year down...another whole huge gaggle of them to go. ^.^ Just thought you all might want to know.

Haven't been this traumatized by a film in...ever. But then i saw the ending, and the end credits, and the end song...and I just cried. IMHO, they made it. And I just bawled my eyes out. In happiness. *shrug* Something hasn't really affected me this much in...I guess a long long time. <:) I feel good though. Well, after a decent gaming convention weekend that saw us make enough to cover the hotel bill from FC, Nynaeve cleans up and puts away the art supplies from FC and gaming stuff from this weekend...and discovers that our tablet, used for Square purchases and business stuff, is gone. IT didn't cost much, but it was ours, and it was needed. And now I am upset and he's near tears AGAIN. We don't need this kind of bullshit, nor do we deserve it. So in addition to $300 worth of stolen art supplies, now we're out our business tablet. Needless to say, I am feeling at this point, humanity can go f**k itself with a rusty nail covered telephone pole backwards, with lemon juice and jalapeno lube.

Only two things could have happened to the tablet, since it was placed into the art crates after the Dealer's Den closed at FC. It was only left unattended in said Dealer's Den for a few minutes, and it was left in the care of hotel employees at FC while cars were being gotten, and luggage carts being sent for. All other times it was in Nynaeve's possession. So that tells me, really, only two things were possible, and one of them, IMHO, just can't be true, which leaves the last choice. And it's one I do NOT want to consider. So I just don't know what to do other then be depressed, angry and upset.

Nynaeve's feeling better, although teh laryngitis is lingering a bit. He's gonna get back to work on the two badges from FC owed, simple enough, and then we're gonna get to delivering the three pics he was supposed to *GLARES AT HIM* at FC,and then it's off to finishing the other stuff. We need to get caught up so we can take more commissions. >.> Need money coming in for so much. ANYHOW, it's good news all around, so I just wanted to pass it along. :)

For Nynaeve the con went okay. We didn't make nearly enough to cover room costs, but the room-mate and friends who accompanied him on the ride up and down were awesome to say the least. So, financially, the con was..meh. Which disappoints. Loads of people not there or there but not seen which is regretable, but when there's tons of people there to begin with...Anyhow, Nyn got to meet and talk to loads of new people and he enjoyed himself, so he says, which is what is best. :) Unfortunately, he also has con-crud. BIG TIME. So I am letting him rest a few days while I go over some art he's working on, and of course, all the commissions due. And the two badges he still needs to finish which I shall poke about later. Anyhew, money still owed, commissions still being worked on, and webcomic book still being planned. Another day another drawing to go.

And in case anyone was wondering, the pot convention just down the street took me out when I tried to actually attend. <:P I got violently ill due to a reaction with my current psyche meds and the nasty-butt stench emanating through all downtown. Never made it to the second floor of the con, either. The crowds were a bit too much and I was just that much more blah because of it. So I spent most of the weekend sick as a dog as my therapist, myself and a couple others toured San Fran. >.>

Nynaeve and I are completely devastated. He accidentally left his black utility pouch containing all his tech pens, brush pens, mechanical erasers, pencils, writing stuff, business permit...essentially the convention go-to bag for completing commissions, attached to the wheelchair he and his mom were using at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills. He just noticed them missing an hour ago. Raced back to Kaiser...and there is no help. Security guards there are a f**king joke. Mall-quality rent-a-cops who consult a piece of paper at the lost and found. He asked about security cameras? six to eight WEEKS to get any footage back from the OFF CAMPUS security office. This multi-BILLION dollar hospital can't afford a $250 camera for a parking lot?!?

Needless to say, with FC in about, oh three or four days, we are officially in dire straits. Money for replacement supplies is seriously needed. Or even the supplies themselves. I'll post a partial list of stuff below, just so you know what's missing, and can get a feel of just how much this is going to cost us.

UPDATE: $310 will actually replace the most necessary stuff. The multi liner SP pens, brush markers, Mechanical Pencils and Eraser and Clicky drafting erasers. And we might even get 'em before the con.

Update #2- We got the supplies to continue doin' artwork. So I am pluggin' away at sample badges with Nynaeve for the con, and packin' it all up. But now we're in a nicely sized pit of debt so here's hoping something good comes of it all.

Somehow, persistence paid off. Nynaeve managed to get a Further Confusion Half-Table space for the convention. So, he will be there, taking badge commissions, pony badge and pony commissions and ye olde standard black and white and color commissions, full sized! If you are attending, please hit 'em up for some swag! Color prints and CDs will also be available. Also, if you can, make some donations? We are desperately in need of new computer equipment. >.> Any little bit can help. We're also planning on releasing, at the very least, the first artwork and comics for our upcoming webcomic by Califur, and we need the gear ASAP. Square and a new tablet might be available, so we should be able to take credit cards. >.>

And on the note of commissions, FC will be a good time for Nynaeve to catch up with coloring and inking as well. So they should be done with very very quickly now. :)

An artist I've long admired for their talent, and RL tenacity in dealing with all the crap in their life...up and blocked me. There was some random comment that I didn't understand, and then boom. On the blocked list. I'm hurt and a little upset at not understanding, nor being given any chance to explain if I did something wrong, or make amends. It troubles me a bit as I have stuck my foot in my mouth on numerous occasions, but I've always been willing to own up about it and see if I can't repair the damage. It's rather upsetting. Ah well.

As for updates, should have two more sketches of commissions up by the weekend, abnd hopefully even finished before FC. I am not going. Gonna have a LOT of work both at actual work and at home. Mom's doing better but her feet are still ailing. And with nephew gone, I have free time to work! When not taking care of the house and mom...I have a new admiration for all the shit she's done to keep this place intact now that I have to do most of it. >.>

Well, on Monday Nynaeve gets to go do his civic duty an deal with Jury Duty....and Tuesday I get to go deal with MINE, mental issues, physical issues, financial issues not-withstanding. Which pisses me off A LOT. I mean, let's see. I am legally psychotic. My mom is physically handiocapped and I am her sole means of support. We're poor. My work is based on hours worked, not salary. I don't make much due to all my medial issues. I take oodles of anti-psychotics...WHAT THE HELL MAKES THEM THINK I'D BE A GOOD JUROR? >.<!!!! Sheeeyit! American legal system needs to get it's head OUT OF IT'S ASS, and BACK IN THE COURTROOM. <:P

That was pretty bad. I will, I think create simultaneous accounts over at Weasyl and Inkbunny, since I do not like DeviantArt. Also, art is delayed, due to severe family trauma and drama, and illness across the board. <:( Will be posting soon however.

Feelin under the weather. Took most of weekend off, while Nyn attended LosCon, and we got some good artwork done. :) So all is not too terribly bad right now. Just passing a heads up along. Still plugging away at commissions. Those whom are owed, expect some emails and messages for progress. :)

Well I gave my mom a mild case of the flu. High blood pressure and a hospital visit plus Xrays later, she's got a bit of ick in her lungs, and I get to take care of her. So gonna be on a bit of an art hiatus for a couple days to a week at most till the fever breaks and she starts feeling a bit better. It's okay though.
