Just sendin' out a thank you to the well-wishers. I am getting better already. Almost back to normal even though I am exhausted to the point of collapse after the littlest of exertions. Anyhow, back to the art stuff that I owe. >.> Little late but I am still working hard.

Graaaah! Nynaeve passed me the nasty stomach virus again. Same one he caught in February at the local game con...This time I think someone at the parties he goes to once a month or something at the Norms restaurant afterwards, passed it to him. >.< It's a doozy so if you all get some cold symptoms...watch out. The nuclear poots are sure to follow.

One day late. ONE FRICKIN' DAY. And again, just like last year, put on the waiting list. Nynaeve and I have been selling there for upwards of...15 years or more now? Never received one word of when registration would be starting. It's really bugging me, AGAIN. And now I get to wait half a year or MORE for a spot to open up...IF we're even up there on the waiting list...*sigh* This bloody well SUCKS. I want to thank Summercat for alerting Nynaeve though. So at least, we have SOME chance of selling at FC. *sigh* This year just has been sucking balls all over and not in the nice way.

Okay. Real life is kicking my ass extremely hard. But I am STILL managing to get something done. I'm in a real bad way, but still plugging ahead. Anyhow, I am currently working on the following stuff

Hey all! I think I will be taking a few online commissions this and next month, as I am severely needing a new computer. I've upgraded as much as I can and I can't upgrades no more, so, I am working on earning that money since I can barely handle the bills as is. Flu, doctor's visits and mold remediation and plumbing repair = a very very poor vix. SO. Here are the rates.

$30 for finished black and white pencils
$40 for finished Inks
$50 for full color via marker
+$5 for additional characters
+$5 for additional background/complex scenes.

Drawn on Canson Manga board. I can scan or I can mail, shipping included in all my costs.
I am very aware I still owe some artwork, and that's being worked on first. All commissions being offered here will be done by the end of April. This is an experiment to see if I can get them done on a specific schedule. At any time if you want a refund, I'll do so. >.> Gotta clamp down and be severely strict here with myself.

As well, donations are appreciated. Contact me for any information on that part. Hell, if you have an old silver IMAC with more n' 4 gigs of RAM and running OS 10.7 or later, give me a notice. Maybe we can work something out?

Nynaeve gave me a nasty cold...and some decent profits from gaming con sales.
Mom is givin' me a chinese dinner out tomorrow. Mmmmm Lemon Chicken!

And even though I have a nasty cold, I am smiling, because life is okay despite all it's troubles and travails. Life goes on. :) Artwork goes slow, but it IS going. More soon, when my nose stops dribbling. I will NOT draw if there is risk of sudden ook on the paper. >.>

Also, FC was extremely lackluster, financially, even though it was a delightful con for Nynaeve (and a holy terror for me the few hours I managed to sneak around) so I am considering taking a limited number of online commissions to help make some scratch. I'll let everyone know how many are available towards teh end of the month. We still have gaming con to sell crap at, and birthdays coming up. So we're gonna be quite busy.

And still curious if I should start that kickstarter-sorta-thing I was planning late last year?

Okay! Nynaeve has two doubles (beds that is) at the Marriott. One roomate is set. Now we need to figure out if anyone wants some floor space or something. :) Regardless, the room is set in stone and all is relatively calm...FOR THE MOMMENT.

Well, Nynaeve's plans for room space...suck. He needs something for the con, as shelling out $380+ Taxes and fees for room at the overflow hotel...kinda destroys the majority of profit we make at con...so, I am putting the call out for him...does ANYONE out there going to FC actually have room space? Even if it's on the floor tucked into a corner. He brings pillows and blankets. And makes a surprisingly small bundle in a corner. I need to know ASAP whether there are any options so we can hope to make SOME plans. As for myself? Work and family MIGHT keep me away, but I am holding on to vain hopes, and rental car reservations, just in case I get the vacation time off I requested. In January. Three years ago. Just kidding, but I will see about making it. *sigh* It's been ten YEARS since I actually made it last.

I haven't any plans to make FC. Money is short, time is short, and just feeling a little blah. Plus, I do have that kickstarter idea percolating even though NO ONE has responded with any feedback...never a good sign IMHO. Anyhow, Nynaeve will be there and selling as usual, and might even have samples of our webcomic. It will be released in time for Califur. Might even have some copies for sale of the first issue. ;) 24 pages. With the first few preliminaries for show at FC even. It's all very stressful over here, but we're surviving. And I just wanted to pass along holiday well-wishes and love to everyone who reads this/ You know who you are. ;)

Gah next time I need to type before I hit return...anyhow...Yes, new pics coming soon. Been tired and depressed and fighting holiday blahs. Got them really bad this year. Also working on a few new things for Further Confusion. Thanks to delays mainly involving RL issues, the webcomic is going seriously slow. But I am still planning a kickstarter of sorts to help that out. Was thinking of a list of decent swag to donate, too...With minimum $5 donations up to $1000, even. But I wasn't sure of how long I should hold it, since the $1000 gift donation is...rather...well you will see below.

$5 = A full color print of my thank you picture.
$10 = Choice of one of my CDs.
$20 = Full set of all my CDs.
$50 = Full color character commission.
$100 = Full color character commission and a set of all my CDs.
$250 = A complete three-view model sheet of a character of your choice.
$500 = A 9"x12" oil or acrylic painting of a character of your choice. Framed.
$1000 = A full 18"x24" oil or acrylic painting of a character of your choice. Framed.

And yes, I know I owe plenty of art, which is why I am thinking of shipping the gifts out by Califur, or June, whichever comes first. The money is going straight to buying what I need. New printer, scanner, possibly a tablet, and if I get enough, even a top-end computer, with new copies of CS5 or something. All purchases are recorded, and available to any donators on request, to keep everything transparent. I don't want anyone worried their donation isn't going where it should.

Well, that wonderful RAM I put into my machine? Seems to have gone bad after a scant few weeks. I have to call a repair person in and get the Mac checked out thoroughly, serviced, cleaned, and then have the RAM checked on and replaced if necessary...which means of course, lots of money. Which I have very little of. SO...I am offering up CD's of all the artwork, and prints, and anything else I can sell, really, to help generate some much needed computer fundage. But I also wonder...should I just ask in here, or should I bother with an official Kickstarter, since I also want to get that webcomic/print comic of Nynaeve and mine up and running as well, which I can't do without a machine...so...the question remains...how best to solicit donations?
Already figured out some of the low-tier rewards in case of kickstarter...them there CDs and art prints. >.> Where to go from here? Don't know if IRL will allow me to complete actual commissions for the kickstarter...although I am considering a limited number of those...the real ticket, for a large donation, is gonna be an 18x24" full oil painting. Yep. PAINITNG. OIL. on Canvas. Delivered either to a con the donator and Nynaeve can meet up at, a place in California you can meet up at or shipped CAREFULLY at our expense...But that's all still in the planning stages. I have officially done my first computer upgrade...from ordering the parts to installing them myself..and I feel great. My imac is running 4 gigs of RAM now. Not too much by geek standards, but I am happy. She's running great and strong and true and I did it myself. I'm so proud! And OS 10.6.8 soon to be 10.7. And that'l be the best I can do. It should last easily another 3 to 5 years and then hopefully I'll have enough for a new one. Anyhow, gaming con this weekend I almost forgot about. Will be doing some artwork so expect new stuff by the middle of next week. Two I need to finish, plus a couple comissions hopefully. :)

THis was so funny it had me rolling on the floor, quite literally as I fel out of my seat when it popped onto my screen. Watch, enjoy and laugh yer ass off.

I recently bit the bullet and ordered a new os (10.6.8) from Apple's Online Store, as well as some RAM to upgrade my humble silver Imac. Got the OS disc in the mail just fine, and installed it myself, which yes, is a HUGE deal. And then I waited for the RAM. And waited. And waited. Finally checked my email, and there is a BUNCH of messages from Apple Online saying that my packages was REFUSED? And then RETURNED? I went ahead and messaged them, that NO ONE over here except ME was authorized to do that. And I get an email response claiming that someone PHONED them and cancelled the order. Well, as it stands now, I fired back that unless the phone number was either of two that I can actually use, there's NO (censored) WAY that that could happen. As well, with my documented psychological issues, even being on the PHONE is a pain n the ass for me. I am waiting to hear back to see what numbers were used in the cancellation. If there aren't any, then oh lordy, Apple is in for a SERIOUS WORLD OF HURT. But as of right now, I am FUMING MAD enough to spit fire, and actually go outside and interact with people and socialize. >.<! I won't, but that's just how pissed off I am. And for those who know me, that's...pretty damned pissed. I mean, what is the benefit of canceling that order? It's not like it's going to a new address or anything...just returned to the warehouse...UGH. My brain hurts.

(EDIT) Turns out, the Mac Store didn't HAVE the RAM chips necessary for my older macintosh...so they themselves cancelled the order...after it was shipped to damn near my next door neighbors, if tracking is to be believed...which tells me that Fed-Ex, Macintosh, the USPS, all of these jokers need to get their heads out of their asses and figure this noise out BEFORE angry people like me get all confused and pissed off. BUT.

Apples online helpers are seriously cool people who I can actually TALK to. Or at least this person was. I was actually at ease talkin' to them. They talked me through everything, step by step, and explained it all. And even pointed me to Crucial.com which had the chips I needed...at a less expensive price...with cheaper and FASTER shipping...so tomorrow. I should have my RAM. :) YAY!!!!

So, not so fuming anymore. >.>

FINALLY got about half the art up that I wanted to. The rest is still on my old baby macintosh that I use for scanning and coloring. But now, I can get everything properly in order up on here! Next up...lessee...several random pics, and at least THREE commissions for folks that Nynaeve owes. I've been working hir hard on the artwork. Gotta catch up as we're planning on the webcomic, and new portfolio CDs Yay fun business in the summertime!

Also, at the rate watches are coming in i don't have much longer before the 200 watch picture...UGH and I'm not eve quite done with 100! Heheheh!
