What size are thumbnails on here? I've heard conflicting stuff from 256 pixels on to 3" to all sorts of things. What works best though? I have 13 or so new sketches n' drawings that need to be put up already. I've procrastinated and let drama hog things enough. So. How about it? What's a good size for ya all? :)

Okay. Looks like Further Confusion 2013 is going tits up as well and not in a good way. Nynaeve was at Califur on the Saturday the FC 2013 website went live. The wording sounded like you could apply for and pay for a dealer's table ONLINE right when the website for the on went live. Nynaeve took lunch at 3pm, and hovered over the Fed-Ex computer and internet for half an hour...only to learn that the APPLICATIONS were available. You print those out, mail them in, and then get sent the payment info if you wanted to pay for it online. Well, due to it being 3pm, and no post office within reach before any of them would be closed, and the next day being SUNDAY, he mailed it off, by handing it to a mail clerk ON MONDAY, before he even returned the rental car he needed. Well, didn't hear a word since then, so we emailed the head of the dealer's room. We couldn't get a table. We're on the WAITING LIST. Which jkust kind of boggles the mind. Ever since...2001? 2000? I've been religious in hounding Nynaeve to get the FC tables. And every year there's never been ANY problems. And suddenly, this past year, EVERYTHING at damn near EVERY CON has been somehow fracked up or screwed up. Regardless, no table, no actual confirmation of a table, means no FC. If we can't even pay for the trip, we don't go, Pure and simple. Now granted the odds of me making a con are slim to none, it's still our main business over here. And this...well. This just seriously fracks things over, for the webcomic, the print comic, commissions, EVERYTHING. So needless to say, I am SERIOUSLY upset over here. Ranting, raving ANGRY MAD here. Comments questions and everything are welcome.

(UPDATE): Well, looks like our letter was post-dated 6-4-12. Which is three days after registration opened, and ONE DAY later then we actually handed the application over to the postoffice worker. Do the math. Screwed over big time. There were 12 spaces left for people whose letters arrived on 6/4, and 19 people whose applications were postmarked that day. Random picking ensued, and me and Nynaeve got screwed out of our space next year. As well, the Furry Market Place is NOT AN OPTION. We won't be able to sell 90% of our goods there. No adult material allowed whatsoever. That INCLUDES commissions, sketches, original art, sketchbooks, WHATEVER. Which I think is a joke, seeing as you can draw anything you want anywhere else at the con. Creators lounge, hotel lobby, sidewalk...but we don't make the rules. -.- Still screwed. Ahh well.

In addition to the new stuff posting this coming weekend...I will also put up a special gift for you all when I hit 100 watches. Everyone watching me means a lot to me, kinda a validation that my work is not just enjoyed by myself. Which it is. >.>

By the way...Nothing I can complain about. It's been a decent week overall. It's a miracle! *passes hugs out to everyone else!* So I hope good things happen to everyone else as well.

ray Bradbury, wonderful author and amazing person, passed away. Just got the news reading various newsites before bed. I am officially sad now. One of the few conventions I ever attended was ComicCon San Diego and I got to spend five minutes talking to him and laughing at his irrascible crankiness. "My body is turning to shit around me, but my mind...ahh my mind is getting sharper and sharper." A direct quote. Said with a smile much to the embarassment of his family around him. :D He will be missed indeed the world over...probably several, actually. And will be remembered with many a smile and thoughtful glance up to the heavens and within ourselves. Thanks Ray, for all the wonderful years and all the wonderful books.

Looks like this year's Califur is not going to go well. Nynaeve is definitely attending and dealing, but with no hotel room, and having to rent a car due to parental mis-management of the shared car, profit is gonna go right out the window. -.- And between RL making damned certain all art projects suffer delays after delays after delays, I am just feeling really really down and crappy right now. -.- Can't get a single break from ANYONE irl over here, and it's really beginning to make me a very sad and angry vix. <:P At least I will be uploading a bunch of stuff before con. So I guess one happy thing in my life ain't bad.

Okay. I am needing to upgrade my OS from Mac os 10.5.8 to Mac os 10.6.8. And apparently, I need the disk, which should give me 10.6.3 and then just update the beejeebus out of it. I have a couple questions though, as I have never done this before...

1. Does the OS just write over the old one and get rid of it? So I don't have to muck around with any settings or anything?

2. Does it keep my settings for various other programs? I know my folders and what-not will be okay, but I am honestly not sure what to expect.

3. What SHOULD I expect? As I said, this is completely new territory for me.

I am also going to see about upping the RAM in this old girl. She's lasted 5 years and I hope to get a few more out of her before I get a new system. And no, it PROBABLY won't be a PC yet. So no Mac versus PC stuff. >.> I just wanna know what to ewxpect with this upgrade....Which costs me...all of $29. An inexpensive mac product? END TIMES ARE NIGH! seriously though. Hehehe. Now's the time.

Where are the FC Dealer's Table Applications? Been waiting forever! Watching the website every day since April 1st. I am hoping they go ob sale soon...don't want to go panic like I did for Califur...Well at least I have Nynaeve and a couple others to look on the site too in case I miss something. ARGH! I hate waiting. Impatient vixen here.

There are some things in this universe that just show me there's hope for us yet...Nynaeve and friends all got into contact with the people who run Califur and in particular the person in charge of the dealer's den...and he got space. O_O! I tell you, this goes to show the fundamental decency that does exist out there. Just gotta grab it by the hojo's, as Prof. Farnsworth is fond of saying. Thank you all for the kind words, and consider this a shout out to all the people who helped Nynaeve n' I, Thank you so very much. >.> Now, as I promised on to the artworks...

As a few people may know, Nynaeve sells our artwork at cons, since i'm too chicken to go. One of those cons is coming up in a few months. Califur. However, after finally getting some time to peruse the site to see when the Dealer's Den tables are going up for sale, we discover, of course, that they are sold out. Now, that's business as usual and I understand n' all, but what's irritating? Despite being told by numerous people that we'd be CONTACTED when sales started, not one word to be had. Nothing. Zip. End result? More then likely, a...lessee...6 month delay in the debut of a project we've been working hard on for two years now. Delays delays delays. THAT is what has me irked more then anything. Worse yet? Most of those are just the dread RL rearing it's ugly head.

On a good note however, I WILL be updating and putting more art up FINALLY. About damn time too. >.> Lots of good stuff. Nynaeve's done some finishing work on some sketches of mne that just blow me away. Gotta get it up and out there for all of you. :)

Back to the ick though. If something doesn't come through at Califur, more then likely Nynaeve will not be attending. No room, no dealers table, no way to break even and cover costs. <:P So here's hoping the waiting list is short (HAH!) or something lucky happens (also HAH!) to one or both of us.

Woke up 4am this morning with severe pain in my upper jaw. Was worried it was another root canal or something. Got to the dentist, after panickin and worrying and scarying myself silly, and he tells me that it's more then likely complications from simple sinusitis, trigering raw nerves still sensitive from my previous root canal. SO, I get to basically take Clairitin-D the rest of my life till these nerves calm down. Meh. Could be worse. Apologies about teh lack of updates. Between me worrying myself sick, and Nynaeve just plain not having enough time for anything outside of chores and errands, it's going slow. BUT. Fret not. We WILL be uploading ASAP. Loads of new stuff. Nothing colored until I can fix the Adobe CS3 or figure out how to make the line tool on CS-1 ink lines into ONE layer, not a seperate layer each line....Ah well. I;ll figure it out when its not 1am at night Time for meds and sleep. Nini all!

Hrmmmmm... Been down for a couple weeks with a severe flu bug, and it's given me time to think...I need help with Adobe Photoshop for CS 1. The line tool keeps making new layers for each and every single line and I prefer using that instead of pen or paint brush... is there any farking way to make ONE LAYER for the lines, and have each line put into each layer, without relying on collapsing dozens of layers, which is obnoxious and time consuming?

Also, anyone got an old pass key for CS-3 that they are not using and have removed from any machines? I was also wondering if Adobe actually nukes the pass keys when and if you remove their program from a machine? I dunno much about this as most software I get nowadays is a gift from someone else. Whether it works or not is something IO tend to discover too late. <:P

Also, i WILL be posting new sketches, soon as I can get the ancient Macintosh beast working properly again, and getting them scanned in. No decent large-bed scanner I can afford for hte newer macintosh, plus, I can't color yet on this one so it's a moot point.

Well the crown is in, the pain receding and life is slowly getting back to normal. Maybe now I can finally get some work done on updates and what not! We shall see. Burned up all my vacation time on this damned dental issue, but I am gonna finagle some free time no matter what! Art MUST go oN!

Okay! Just a little heads up. Had the Root Canal, and now the crown has been carved. The worst of it is over and now begins the long haul to recovery. And several needed days vacation rest. SO. I am going to take that vacation, and get the artwork I've been meaning to post here, sorted and ready for some scanning this weekend, if pain and fatigue permit. Tomorrow I rest. And boy howdy, this vixen needs it. Thank you all forhte well wishes. And OMG...75 watches so far! Thank you all! I have to get a big 100 watches pic ready in me mind now. Something I never thought I'd have to do. And now I am deeply honored to be able to get it done. Thank you all again! Bad news. Updates are gonna be slow for a couple weeks. Why? I'll tell you why. Root Canals f**king SUCK. Sure, it was painless, but the stress and strain and dealing with close personal contact which is NOT something I handle well, well, I am still recovering from that. Add to that the post-operation pain....GAH. But. I will tell you this much...to be able to sit and drink a simple glass of water without pain....can be the greatest feeling in all the world. Still, we're not done yet. Gotta go back in on Wednesday to get the crown started on the tooth...and it's a front one. <:P BLAH. No fun. But I will survive. Admittedly with a chicklet tooth, but I will survive.

Well the title says it all. We're planning for FC, and Nynaeve needs a room for the weekend. I MIGHT show up, as our finances so far look okay even WITH a lackluster Antheria con. No bad things about the con, was just slow sales mostly. Was a fun con and YES. I DID attend a couple hours. It was NOT EASY. Not in the least bit. And I was incognito and I had a support group with me. Much teh same as if/when I get to FC and POSSSIBLY AC next year. Yes, we're planning seriously this year. New scans and new artworks, all pencils, will be up shortly, folks! And if you know anyone who has an Adobe CS 3 serial number that works, I am desperately needing that. Or possibly knowledge on how to get the line tool in Adobe CS 1 to stop making a new layer for each and every fracking line I use...UGH. So much work to do, so I will get to it.

Well, I got rid of what was bothering me. So I think I will be okay now. But it still terrifies me to the core that what happened did happen. Send a private note to me if you are wondering what I am talking about. In the mean time, I am hopefully taking necessary steps to prevent it from occouring again, and I will calm down eventually. <:)

Triple digit heat in Los Angeles, California has one benefit. I stay home a LOT more, regardless of anything I have to do, and I get artwork and other stuff DONE! I'm gonna be making the long awaited sketch dump, and thanks to Nynaeve's work at Califur (LONG time ago it seems) I have a marker colorin' for the main gallery! I need to get a serial number code for Adobe CS3...we got a copy from a friend, but the SN they had on the disc case was mangled in transit and I got nuthin'. And I can't figure out where to get a new legit code either. ARGH. I need Photoshop to get the digital coloring! I can't use the ancient dinosaur mac anymore...it's...well I THINK it was a '98 G3 Mac? Using PS 5.0? Ugh. My CELLPHONE is better. Anyhow, I have a whole weekend off, so its time to draw!

WHEW! Well, it seems like it does end! I'm getting some time off this weekend, so hopefully nothing will happen and I will be able to scan stuff. Nynaeve's working on other projects for me, so now, it be time to scan! While I am free and clear! Mwahahahaha!

Mom wrecked my car on Saturday. Things are looking slightly better though today. Car rental is being covered by insurance, and the adjustor could see it as early as tomorrow to see if it's fixable. I think it is, a close personal friend and auto mechanic says it is, but we will see. It's delayed me a little bit, but I should still be posting artwork this week. FINALLY.

Just a heads up folks. Hand is all healed, life is returning to relative normalcy over here, Nynaeve's helping me finish some artwork, and as a result, I expect to have a good number of pics to toss up here really soon. :) Colored and sketches and everything. So thank you for patience, and now, on with the art!

Word to the wise. When cutting Pampas Grass, make certain that none of the stuff you pick up is pinned under a shoe...as my two last fingers on my drawing hand can attest to....that stuff is SHARP! Posting and drawing slightly delayed till the burning and htehurting stops...Day Three now. No infections or anything. Just owwies. ;.;

OKAY! Gonna have a few sketches coming up soon. Real life has me in conniptions right now, but I;m soldiering on through. Nynaeve will be at Califur slutting out the artworks while I get to enjoy more RL work then I really want. We have a new Preview of our webcomic CD out, but are pushing the start to january next year. :) Gives us more of a buffer and lets my RL calm on down. ANYHEW, more new stuff soon! Promise!
