I'm all grumbly. With the lack of FC sales, the cancellation of Califur, and not being able to even get space at BLFC cause the time I was told the tables were going on sale...the website wasn't working correctly, I am seriously down in the dumps, art wise. RL is being a strain, but is stable and holding, and I need to get some free time to take some pictures of newer arts. Gods above and below i wish I had three things right now...

1. A darned external disc drive...
2. An 11x17 flatbed scanner....
3. A large bottle of good quality scotch.

Bah. I think I'll go back to the sketch pad and doodle some more stuff.

Brother tossed in Jail over a supposedly quashed Warrant that never was. Out on Bad. Looking okay, legal-wise, but a colossal headache.
Dog keeping me up at night and waking me up early. SO WORTH IT.

Anything else? Yes. I am taking pictures of some art done recently, and hope to post things again, soon. I tell you, the amount of detail i can get at 11x17....but the sheer time it takes to do something that large....Oye...

Still here, still trying to draw, fighting a nasty flu apparently. Headache, neck aches, congestion and sinus pressure, hacking up a lung...fun stuff. Should have a nice little pic in time for April Fools/Easter. Same day. Oh lordy. >.>!

Advanced mac Cleaner keeps popping up adds on my Mac. I know Hentai Foundry auto-downloads some add software. I've deleted it twice now...but the messages are still popping up. Anyone have a clue how to get rid of them permanently?

Turns out Hentai Foundry is laced with this adware. Have to delete all the files, then the startup items so they don't come back, then even wipe browser history clean. Frustrating.

1. Doing better mentally. Christmas and New years wasn't that bad...
2. Nephew is working and contributing.
3. Mom is doing okay after bought of flu.

And oh yeah. We stumbled upon a new doggy we had to adopt. A big sappy black lab with a little bit of shepherd, named Dasher. He is neurotic and skittish and a bundle of raw nerves...but he is beautiful and sweet. So let the potty training commence! Cause...yeah. Shelter lied about him being housebroken. >.>! Or leash trained. Or anything.

Oldschool Pin-up GAWD Julius Zimmerman passed away. One of the influences in art for Nynaeve and I. Yep Sadness. <:( But now he gets Angel and Devil Jessica rabbit all to himself. >.>!

And getting Deep Woods Off in your eye...really fucking sucks balls.

At 5:35pm, November 1st, 2017, our beloved labrador retriever Coco, passed on from this life. She was love, and was loved. Pure joy and happiness in a wonderful four-legged package. She is already missed, but the knowledge that someday we will be together again, removes a little of the hurt and pain.

She had a host of issues. What we thought was a side effect of a tramadol prescription, turned out to be highly aggressive and malignant throat and laryngeal cancer. She would only have had a couple weeks to a month, even with surgery. So we had to make a hard decision. She passed on surrounded by her loving family, and with a smile on her face and love in her eyes. Nynaeve is incredibly upset and out of it. Me too, really. But had to post something here, to let you all know. Thank you, everyone. And hug your four-legged companions close. Love them as they love you. If not more.

Doggy has kidney issues. Lots of depression. Artwork is gonna be rather slow for a bit. God I hate this year. It's been awful.

Natural causes, surrounded by friends, family, and a bevy of gorgeous women, rich beyond his wildest dreams both material and spiritual. Now there, dear friends, goes a true man. Bit of a dirty old lech, but always with a smile. Honestly? He'll be missed. Had a lot of respect for that man and what he accomplished.

Thank goodness it downgraded...but Florida is getting a shellacking...and the eyewall of Irma is heading straight for Charm...Be well, vixxy! It's duck and cover time. <:(

And Preston Garvey REFUSES to give me the quest to take the Castle in Fallout IV. Ever since the last update a few weeks ago. I deleted a bunch of mods to see if they were the culprit...no such luck. WAHHHH! Does anyone know what the hell is going on?

I am getting better at sussing out issues on computers or consoles! It was INDEED the Scrap That Settlement mod program that was causing the issue. The All-In-One version of that mod was basically eliminating quest markers from the first quest Preston gives you...I disabled just that mod, and started a new game without it. And sure enough, earlier today, i got to the point he gave me the quest, and he did indeed give it to me! Now I need to contact 3lric on the Bethesda Forums and tell him that alas, his mod is...mildly borked. I'm sure he already knows. But I am so proud of myself! Yay!

When your Atlas-3 is at optimal range, you unload with your RAC-5 and all 6 shots plow right into the spine of your opponent's battlemech...

Random Thought for a week.

So our poor labrador needs to lose weight, and be on meds a good long time, and not over-exert herself...looks like both rear knees are in bad shape. Not too serious right now, but she runs the risk of blowing both of them out...and we do not have the $10k needed for surgery. She's only 7 years old...just entering middle age for a labrador retriever. We got her on long-term NSAIDs for the inflammation. And in general, just gott take it easy with her. No more outrageous fetch and throw, and limited pool time. And no rambunctious puppies to play with and hurt her. Which is how it all started. She's doing better already, after just one day of treatment, but it also could just be the tramadol working. We're gonna spoil her rotten. <:) However much time we have with her is an outright blessing. Gotta remember that. And stop crying so much. UGH. Last time I had a panic/anxiety attack this bad, it was the bedbug incident a few years back. WHEEE.

Nynaeve's labrador is staggering and limping a lot...we think she's just having issues on the hardwood floor, and injured herself playing with the brother's puppy and cat, chasing them around earlier today...and needs a nail trim too. But we're all worried over her, and the stress is doing a number on Nynaeve and I. Gonna get some sleep, and hope for better in the morning. We can't afford any vet bills. At all. So...yeah. Worried, anxiety, Stress. Scared. Bad things.

EDIT: I am in full on purge mode IRL. But feeling better. Doggy is stiff and sore, still. I think it's from the marathon swimming session a week and a half ago. But she's able to run and bounce when she wants to. >.>! I think at 7 years, she's just starting to get older and stiffer. And being on a hardwood floor a lot of the time...slip and sliding all over. And she need her nails trimmed too. So....yah. Busy busy the rest of the week. As for me....Just remember, kids and adults...COOK THE FRICKIN' CHICKIN' LONGER THEN YOU THINK. >.<!

Neck n' back issues form helping brother out with pulling out the engine of his subaru forrester. Without a proper lift hoist. And then putting it back in. Major suckage. Between that and the abominable heat and humidity over here, and the lack of family leaving Nynaeve and I the f**k alone long enough to create some artwork magic, means slow goings on everything owed. But rest assured. Sooner or later things will break, and I guarantee it will not be me. Or Nynaeve. Bent, but not broke. Heheheh Very bent depending on the way you look at it. *^.-*

Warhammer 40k. I loved the new edition. Looked spiffy. Great rules, price was cheaper then it's been...But now they've gone and soured it.
They are releasing codexes that will supersede anything in the index books that they put out just this past month. So...there goes another $50 per book for the factions you enjoy so much...and of COURSE the rules are gonna be better in the codexes for the individual factions...making the index books nice and useless. And it pisses me off incredibly that they would pull a bait and switch like this. even more then just changing the rules every fucking few years. I think I am gonna just collect the miniatures from now on. Cause frankly, this bait and switch tactic is pure unmitigated BULLSHIT. No matter how shiny and pretty it looks. To pull something like this on people with limited enough means as is? Congratulations, Games Workshop...You proved to me once again how low and despicable you scummy bastards truly are. You have learned NOTHING. I am returning my indexes. What use are they now? I'd rather have the full fucking codex. Or better yet, i'd rather have the $50 so I can get an external disk drive or a new backup drive for this computer....or the start of a scanner.

Ugh. I'm fuming now. The past two days...just...ugh.

Edit: I returned the two indexes Nynaeve bought on launch day. We have them both digitized on his tablet and my phone. >.> We're gonna use the money for a new external disk drive so we can use the copy of manga studio we have, then put a little extra into a backup drive. When the codexes we use actually come out? MAYBE we will purchase 'em.

Haven't cried this much over a movie in a long long time...well, since two weekends ago when I saw Wonder Woman...WOW. Heheh. I gotta admit, as much as Sheldon drives me insane with nerd-rage and nerd-hate (Love you Sheldon!) Boov really made the heart go squishy! >.>!

And they are still using the anonymous 5-member juried art system for picking and choosing who is going to sell at their convention...and the costs have increased at LEAST 75%....not quite double...YET. Ouch. Was it a good choice to even consider selling at FC? Dunno yet. Nynaeve and I both seriously dislike these juried selection processes. For a business aspect of the convention. For the art show? No problem...but it rankles severely in the business aspects of selling our furry artwork. Ahhh well.

Well, I finished the first black and white of Cheska that I promised, and am starting an auction of sorts for the original art. With an interesting caveat to boot. See, for every $50 this picture generates, I will draw another one, progressively sexier and naughtier, until the only limits to the picture are those set by Cheeks. Anything and everything will go. Unless it gets a little too far? Maybe? >.>! Mind you even if this picture only generates $50, that GUARANTEES a second one. >.> See how that goes? So....if anyone is interested, go ahead and respond to this post. Make an offer. And if this works well, maybe we can do some other characters? Maybe some of yours, eh? >.>!

As well, soon as I can get a little free time, got a few more pics to add to the site. Yay!

Thanks to Nynaeve learning a few things from a friend at the local furmeet, we CAN use the phone for pics. Just need better light. SO, a little clamp or two for mini mag lights, and the art board are all we need. :) If it works well, you will see the results after Cheska's picture. :)

Thinking late at night, when things are finally calm. I'm in a bit of a funk. A bit upset over the lousy sales, and a bit upset over life in general. Trying to change things is taking too damn long, and costing too damn much. And it's all making me a bit depressed as per usual. But I know how to get out of it, so I am working on that. So no worries. I'm not going anywhere. Heh. My therapist calls me the most optimistic depressed person she's ever seen. I like that. I'll stay optimistic. Makes me smile even. so...to everyone else out there, i give you big hugs. All of you. And good vibes. For now, I gotta figure out how to either get my cell phone camera working properly so I can upload pics to people I've promised...or find the pennies for a damned large-bed scanner. >.<!!! My usual lament.

Cause...good gawd...could you imagine...Califur, then BLFC, then AC, all within a few weeks of each other? GAH! I know I'm not young anymore when I realize...O'd be a frickin' basket case of exhaustion and neurosis after that kinda work. So....Goddamn Epic Kudos of Awesomeness to everyone who can manage that trifecta, or even two outta three. >.>

Gaming con sales wiped out a lot of extra stuff we had to sell, but at least it covered any debt from Califur still on the cards. Now, gotta refocus on getting Patreon up and running, and seeing about that darned webcomic. >.<!

Still need more time to figure out all this stuff. And get owed artwork out. and get more free time to unwind from stress. Argh!

Looked fun. Lousy for making money. Thank goodness friends of Nynaeve's were able to find roommates, or we'd be severely screwed. As it is, there's a LOT that needs to be looked into. A LOT. As it is, gotta find the last $30 or so we owe to cover the bills. So...Not too bad, but very underwhelming.
