Yeah. Merry F**king Christmas. I should be scanning pics into the computer, eating a ham dinner, and heading out to see the new Star Wars flick. Instead. I'm on the f**king computer, eating some ham and cheese hot pockets, and playing WoW. I f**king hate my family. Mom, Nephew, Brother. They can all f**king rot for all I care right now. Everything ruined cause brother would rather F**k some psychotic bitch he's known for a few years, the nephew would rather watch a f**king television program, and mom would rather sit and cry and bawl like a f**king BABY instead of DOING SOME THING about the situation> ANYTHING. But no. Major Power Outage in Van Nuys tonight...My computer was on, I was playing WoW, when the lights went out, came on, then out again. And now, my Mac won't start up. I think it's dead. SO....I am unplugging and checking everything from the ground up. If I can't get it to restart...we're totally fucked. No money, no commissions coming in, NOTHING. So, I don't know how long I'll be without a computer. I can still keep in touch using my mom's machine like I am doing now, but this is NOT a long term solution. Don't know what I can do, but I just thought everyone would like to know. Contact info is below.

UPDATED UPDATE: I will need help with the following....

1. The Iomega Drive works FINE with Mac OS X El Capitan! Was kinda funny...plugged it in, and the tech was baffled why it wasn't showing up anywhere on the desktop. Scoured the ENTIRE computer...didn't find it. Then I smirked...and put the disk into the drive to read it. And it showed up FINE. >.>! SO...ONE PROBLEM SOLVED!

2. I need a newish version of Atlantis for access to Furrymuck and Tapestries, as well as any addresses, port numbers, whatever I need to connect. Help?

3. SL should be easy enough to handle. Go to site, download client, spend 12 hours tinkering with said client.

4. WoW should be a piece of cake. Download new client, BOOM ready to go.

5. Awesome MacStore Tech from #1 showed me how to find the backup folders for time machine. Everything is safe and sound!!!!

6. How the f**k am I gonna afford $2500? >.<!!! Meh. I'll manage something for the next 18 months or so. Thanks to clever financing and a genius mom, I have an extra 15 months. 33 months total, to pay this off. And it was closer to $3k. Still. I...think I can manage this okay. >.>

7. Well, that SHOULD be it to get me stable. After that, it's a case of finding a new art program to digitally ink and color. I am seriously looking over SAI, but wasn't there a photoshop clone out there too? Or was that Sai? >.> More help here would be appreciated. It's now....3am Saturday. Well, we're back on track. Dog is getting better, Nynaeve is getting better, I'm not that big a basket case at the moment...so. Back to the idea of commissions. We could use the funds cause of holidays coming up, and Nynaeve is thinking about going to FC. Don't know why, since we can't make money there anymore due to the *ahem* interesting and insulting situation involving the current Dealer's Room. So...do we use the funds for a vacation? Holiday? That's what we got to figure out, before making any commitments. However, we WILL be taking them. I think 10 commissions, finish time around the end of January. Sketches to hand coloring, since we STILL can't computer color. Yet. But that IS in the plans too. So...again...anyone interested?

Our Labrador Coco is apparently sick again...almost the same thing she caught the last year around this time, but it looks a little more minor. She still has her appetite, and is still eating, but she's coughing a bit of yuck up. And what she's poopin' belongs in a toxic dump. >.<! So...vet trip tomorrow. Vet bills we can't afford. So...Ugh. Other then that though, things are okay. It's weird. She's wagging her tail affectionate, playful, even. Just...occasionally going whork, and poopin' toxic death. No fever, no chills. her nose is cold and not too wet.She eats like her usual self, and managed to hold it down. So...yeah. Worried, stressed, and it's 3:45 am and I am dead tired and can't sleep a wink.

UPDATE: We're being cautiously optimistic. Pup's feeling a lot better, but still left a nice ooky present in the morning for us. However, she's been pretty good today. Energy level is up and she's happier. However, I'm still feeling a gut bug inside. >.<! Makes me wonder if it was the swordfish? We got some rice, some chicken, and some probiotic for the both of us for a week or so, so hopefully everything will clear up.

UPDATE 2: Took her to the vet. She had some blood where it shouldn't have been. But, she checked out okay. A little dehydrated, and her tummy is definitely irritable. They gave her some antibiotics, and are checkin' for gut bugs and nasties. IF that all checks out, it's just a case of IBS for canines, and we cntinue doing what we are. She's got energy, and eating and drinking, so no worries for now. I still feel like poop, so I'm just gonna take my meds and coast through the weekend. <:P UGH. Rotten f**king time of the year. Vet bill was WAY less then I thought it'd be...but there goes Christmas, and most of January.

Cause Fallout 4 came out, and it's Veteran's day, and I remember the last time I wanted a video game and system around this time...and the person who went above and beyond the call of duty to help Nynaeve and I out get our Xbox 360 and Skyrim...is no longer with us. And I am unhappy cause I remember him, and I remember all the people we've lost in the past couple of years, and I grieve. I'm unhappy. Sad. But determined.

See, I want to get that Xbox One. I want to get Fallout 4. And above all else, I want to remember each and every person here now, or gone, who've helped us both out over the years. And I thank each an every one of them. I miss you, to the ones who are gone. And I love you all. I'm gonna go now, and I think I'm gonna do a bit of fond remembering. And see about takin' some emergency commissions for end of the year happiness funding. and getting overdue stuff out to those patiently waiting.

I am currently down with a very nasty very violent combination of the common cold, and severe allergy attacks cause of these Santa Ana winds here in the Valley. I am hoping to have something up for Halloween. Maybe a couple somethings, but at this point i just want my poor nose to stop bleeding, my throat to stop clogging, my lungs to stop trying to escape and run off with my spleen...enh. Could be worse. Least I am in good spirits. >.>

And yes, WHEN I find out who was sick and let me have this, they are going to be in a WORLD OF PAIN.

Back went out on me. But the house is in order, and I get some time tao relax so...I am drawing again, and still planning everything out. So much to do, but finally seeing some time to get it DONE. Nynaeve's got a mild bug so he's taking time off...maybe we'll actually get some time to spend for ourselves, with each other? I hope so. Anyhow, stay dry, stay safe and stay happy, people. ^.^

Nynaeve was able to get room and dealer's table, but it's looking like there's no roommates next year...so...he's got a double, and it's wide open for sharing if anyone is interested in making plans this early.

Was wondering why I have been in an art doldrums the past couple of weeks. And it became pretty obvious in retrospect. The passing of multiple friends and fellow artists both in the fandom and without, the sheer oppressive heat over here in California, all leading into a nasty bout of self-pity and depression...coupled with new medications i'm taking for the host of OTHER issues I get to deal with...it all just came together...and did nothing. I kinda figured out what's been affecting me, and now...now I get to take action and remedy it all. This is actually a GOOD THING (tm and patent pending). See, for many years, I'd just be in these funks, and pretty much unable to find a way out. Well...at least there's SOME improvement, cause I'm fixing the situations, and getting myself back out of said funk. '

Course, now I have to start that whole Patreon thing...and I am WOEFULLY underprepared. But we need the finances, so...it's either take the risk or stay where we are at, which is...just BLAH.

SO...First question...how the bloody hell do I even create a Patreon page? I'm gonna work on some artwork this week for said page. Advertising blurbs and such. UGH so much to DO.

Been watching the Hostory channel, and all the amazing footage from that tragic day. And I remember where I was when I watched the towers collapse, and all the feelings come right back to the fore. I'm still amazed about everything that happened, still saddened about the death and destruction, and still amazed at all the humanity, all the bravery, and all the courage so many people showed. So, i just wanted to say, one more year gone, thank you to everyone, for just being you. Gods Bless.

Good news first. Coco is fine and dandy and back to her old self, and wondering why we aren't spoiling her with canned food, rice and boiled chicken. >.>! She's happy and droopy as only a lab can be. :)

Mom dropped a paint can on my foot. A full one. Edge down. On my bare foot. A week and a half ago. Is why no updates or real art progress. Kinda hard when your foot is constantly reminding you that OUCH! I HURT DAMNIT! Three broken toes. And I have to walk a lot at work. >.<! NOT FUN.

Art is delayed a bit, but I have some new pics. Re-imagining of some of the toons for our webcomic. And re-working tehachapi a little bit. Not quite as stout or boob-alicious, but still ver very delicious. You'll see. :)

Also, September marks the month I finally get a new computer! Still an iMac, but it's MINE and I loves it. Still need to find resources for it. Sai, a large-bed scanner, and maybe...MATBE a decent tablet? Don't need it as I can do miracles with a mouse, but still...might be interesting. :) Not gonna worry about printers. But that scanner is a MUST. And another, larger, time machine HD. cause, they save my ass when things go bad.

Nephew brought my dog in saying something was wrong. She was freaking out, drooling, unable to close her mouth, clicking teeth, and was just a basket case. Got her to the vet. Vet's doctor was in surgery. Recommended a clinic another ten minutes away. Got there, no problems. She was seen, and turns out...

...she had a fucking water bottle cap EMBEDDED in her soft palate. It was irritated, and sore, and she was just NOT happy. Mild sedative, some forceps, and POP! Out it came. Bloody just a tiny bit. So, we have a doped up dog, and a $402 Vet bill. <:( So much for computer this month, and the next gaming con in september, and new tires for the car...But our Doggy is okay and happily snoring and farting away in the bedroom.

My nephew is the root cause of it. He is sloppy, slovenly, stinky and just plain BLYEAH. He smokes pot non-stop all frickin' day now, and he an his friends littered our back yard with bottles of water, energy drinks, trash. And our dog loves to chew on the bottles. What if there was some pot residue? Or WORSE? In the bottle she chomped? Needless to say, we're making this an object lesson for him. Including a demand from Nynaeve and I that since he's working now, he helps pay off the vet bill. OR ELSE. His friends have already been banished permanently.

*sigh* It never rains, but it pours. I don't think asking for help will work. Situation's handled already. But the good thing is, thanks to Dutch, Brian Burke and a couple others, I have a lot of ideas now for my patreon, and am fleshing out how I want to set it up so that Nyn and I aren't completely overwhelmed, and we get some kickass stuff out to everyone we know loves our work. :) SO, not everything is bad, ya know? And Coco is gonna be fine and dandy, and life is gonna go on. Thanks all for letting me vent a little bit. Or a lot.

Nynaeve and I are making a Cult Mechanicus army. We ue the tracked Kataphron Destroyer Servitors A LOT. It's a lot cheaper then paying for oodles of little infantrymen. And it looks cool. So many forums are whinging and whining about limited toughness, saves, and wounds. They seem to forget one simple fact...with their leader nearby, said leader can HEAL THEM. >.> Nothing like watching someone waste so much time and effort killing two or three of your guys...only to have one or two pop back up, ready to unleash another batch of granitic hellfire into their face! >.> Good times. Interesting armies. Much fun!

I got an alert on my old mac here, that I haven't been able to backup anything for the last ten days...I've had a Porche Solid State drive acting as my Time Machine Time Capsule for the past three years...and now, all of a sudden, it isn't backing up. I think the poor bugger was set at 15 minute intervals...so that is...let;s see...96 saves a day, and multiply that by 365, and THAT by 3...so that's easily over 100k saves total...am I right in thinking the poor dear burned itself out and I am temporarily screwed? Its a touch expensive to get a new one...and if I do, should I only save once an hour, or even once a day to prevent this from happening again? I am a tad paranoid about losing this machine before the new one comes in in another week or so...Or rather, all the data ON the machine...

UPDATE: I tested the drive by plugging it directly into the USB connection on my keyboard. And its backing up as I am typing this. Could a power surge have borked my USB hub? The scanner and old Zip drive are working, but time machine wasn't backing up to the disk. Anyone know what the heck is going down? Should I plug into the USB hub again to see if that's the culprit? A $20 USB hub is a LOT easier to replace then a Porsche Design SS External HD.....

Artwork-wise, we're on a slight delay till we both get over this crap. Between summer colds band floor resurfacing in the den, our art stuff needs to get unpacked, set up again, and work DONE. >.> It's getting' done slowly, but surely. FINALLY.

Also, I get to start shopping for the new computer set-up soon. And get necessary programs like Sai and all it;s goodies.
