I'm staying at the main hotel, Scandic Infra City! Very happy I got a spot there.

I'm taking the train from Copenhagen Central Station, to Stockholm C. On the way to the con, I'm with Butterscotchdk, DancingWithCandy and possibly HozzieHozzbourne. On the way back, it will be with Butterscotchdk and possibly HozzieHozzbourne!

Yes, twice, the same con. It was very small, it has 60 attendees every year. The con is Furtastic.

Way too much stuff to have in one suitcase. Suits take up a LOT of space!

I have two! I'll be bringing Mico the Chicken hybrid and Swift the Silver Fox. I'll hopefully be suiting a lot!

I don't know yet! But I'm sure I will be dragging Butterscotchdk around a lot. Hope I can get to meet new people, and hang out with people I already know!

The whole experience! Its my first hotel con, so I look forward to it all.

I've been thinking a lot about on how to write this journal, and if I should post it to start with. I've never been good with words. And I don't want to come off as edgy or attention-seeking.
I also hope this also can explain why I barely post art anymore.

Everything I write in this journal are serious issues I've been facing, and while they might seem ridiculous or silly, I hope that you will try to think about it from my perspective.

I'm a nervous human being to start with. 'Nervous wreck' is probably the best way to explain me as a person in few words. Those who know me personally, and have met me, knows that this is very true. And that I rely a lot on those around me to make it thru a social event, per example.
This nervousness have been destroying my life and friendships, and I'm feeling like I'm losing everyone around me. When I try to explain my thoughts and feelings, it comes out wrong and harsh, and I push away those who try to help me, despite the fact that I want and need them.

Losing those around me, both to destroyed friendships and death, is, without a doubt in my mind, my biggest fear. That, along with lonliness. It tears me up inside that these fears control my everyday life. If I feel that I said something wrong, I panic. If a friend doubts me, I assume the worst. It repeats everyday, all day. And these fears result in delusions, delusions that I know aren't real, but they seem so real that I follow and believe them.

These delusions are mostly things like:
'You're hated'
'People are with you because they pity you'
'You're not welcome anywhere'
'No one loves you'
'Your work and art is worthless. No one likes it anyways'

But they vary and differ, depending on the situation. No matter where I go, they follow me.
And these thoughts and delusions make me feel isolated. I have never felt so lonely in my life as I do now. I feel unwelcome in my local furry community, like everyone hates me.
And I can't change this, because its been here for years and they're getting harder and harder to control. I'm feeling like I'm going crazy. I can't have a normal job, I can barely sturdy at my school, because this presses on constantly.
And I'm not sure if I can stay with this any longer.
Life seems pointless when those I care about hate me anyway.

I don't know what the point of this journal is. A cry for help maybe. I'm not sure.

I'm just so scared of how others think of me and of being left alone.

And I want it to end.

Nowhere!

There haven't been any uploads for quite a while, because my pc broke down a while ago. I've been unable to draw on commissions or digital art in that period, and yes, my commissioners were notified and offered refunds.

BUT! I have finally got my hands on a new pc. This time its not a laptop. So I won't be able to draw everywhere I go.
On the other hand, the pc is much better than the previous one, and should be able to handle bigger canvases, with more layers. Yay for that!

New art pieces will be in the making now! So look forward to that!

I've taken in a quite big commission for a client - an 'Art Pack', which is a specific amount of art for a discounted price. In this case, its an icon, waist-up and fullbody w. background, for less than if you were buying it separately.
Originally, I was only gonna make this one Art Pack, since I needed the money for a ticket to a furcon, but I think I would enjoy making more when this one is done.

Now, my question would be - how much would you pay? How much do you think you should save? Is there any interest at all in these Art Packs?

If I were to make them, I think I would make 5 different, all ranging in price and art pieces.

Long time no personal journal.

I guess I haven't written one of these for a veeery long time. Its rather sad, since I enjoy being a part of this community and communicating with you guys.

And I am sorry for that. I miss the 'good, old times', where I replied to every comment, talked to everyone, generally was a happy kid. Within the last few years, I've gradually stopped replying to comment and especially the recent few months, I also started ignoring people and friends when they wrote to me. This is something I am not proud of. I absolutely despise doing it, but I simply doesn't have the energy to reply and hold a conversation.

It's not that I don't appreciate it, I really really do. But I can't handle it the times I don't reply. It usually takes a few days for me to reply, luckily I have very patient friends. And that, I am super grateful about. Thank you, you guys. You know who you are.

If you're a follower of mine, you might have noticed the big time gaps between my art. Art is a big reality escape for me, unfortunately I don't have a lot of patience or confidence in my art. So I usually sketch an idea, then I either delete it because its not good enough, or I save it and forget it.

I've also noticed that I usually use a lot of time on my commissions, which I hate a lot. I feel like a bad artist, for leaving my customers waiting for so long. I'm terribly sorry about that. I do my best to deliver a good result in a timely manner, but its tough. I value quality over the waiting time though.

You might think, why does Mico share all of this information with the internet?
I do it because I need to get this off my chest. Keep in mind, this is not to get pity, its to explain to you guys how my mind works at the moment, and why my art and replies are so slow.

People who have followed me for years, or know me personally, know that I am mentally unstable. Not in the I'm-gonna-go-nuts version as seen on TV. More like I'm-gonna-go-cry-in-the-corner version.
My mood swings a lot, I have a fear of being judged and I absolutely hate myself and my art. In periods, I'm suicidal, or want to quit art permanently. My self-esteem would be like a grain of sand in the Sahara desert. I occasionally get anxiety attacks, especially if I get yelled at. I am so terrified of my relationship with my boyfriend will be destroyed by myself, just like the last one was. And I feel that my friends in secret dislike me.

Its so hard for me to explain this.

In general, all of this is the fault of one thing.
I wasn't born a boy.
In other words, I am transgender (female-to-male). People who I have met in real life all know this.
While it might be hard to understand why that is the fault to my mental health, its the truth nonetheless. Its so difficult for me to handle waking up everyday and prepare for a day where people keep calling you 'she', ask uncomfortable questions, and knowing that people close to me have said they never would be able to see me as a male. Its ridiculously stressful. I'm so tired of living this life.
I'm coming out with this because it is stressful for me to pretend to be something I'm reminded I'm not everyday. Or at least not yet.
Currently trying to get my transition started, which is not going well, sadly. The only way to get Hormone Therapy in Denmark is by going though a lot of tests and the like. I've been working on this for about one year now, still got 2 years before I get close to the hormones.

My computer broken down two days ago and is in for repairs. This means delay on commissions and art in general.

It have been in need of being fixed for quite some time, it doesn't work with a battery, jackstick is half-broken and the mousepad randomly stops working once in a while. But this time, it gave me a glitchy blue screen of death, plus the warranty for it has almost run out.
(Also yes, its a laptop)
