Highest highs to lows. Yes, I'll be posting to various websites and yes, I'll be looking into legal nonsense, but this plus health issues just leaves me deflated, defeated and just numb. I was hoping to have it so I wouldn't be just another fat kid wandering around megaplex.

Got the days off at the start and have a room saved. Who else is going? It being my first con I would enjoy knowing that I could meet a few people that I'd know, though I am terrible with da faces.

Having bronchitis for over a week is the worst. Almost as bad as trying to make a match.com profile. Which is also like awkward as hell for some reason. Too bad that furry ones are kind of a joke.

Here are some changes that I'm going to be making in no particular order, put into sections for easier ignorability. These have been weighing on my mind for a long time.

Liara the Boa:
- I don't care much for the character. Now everyone knows. I made her to be perfect but I don't like her nor the art of her nor roleplaying as her. I have kept her around and continued to get art of her because others like her, but no more. If you want to be in art of her then approach me for permission but I am not going to be purchasing new artwork of her.
- If someone is roleplaying Liara with you, it likely isn't me and they don't really have permission.
- I am NOT selling her but merely focusing on other characters.

Baera the Dragon:
- Will be turning slightly gooey.
- Will be more dominate to match my current personality.
- Would love to absorb and corrupt you.

Porn:
- There will likely be less smut in my gallery for a while. I see the 400+ pictures in my inbox everyday and just feel kinda burned out by it. I look at my gallery and it is full of porn, I will be focusing on art that could be hung on a wall and be easily explainable to a non-furry.
- I will still get adult artwork because I have promised pictures with others but see the end of me getting porn in sight. It is hard to consider yourself a christian when you pay people to draw porn for you.
- I will NOT be deleting artwork from my gallery unless there is drama tied to it, but those pictures are already gone.


I fully expect to lose watchers and friends over such things but I am tired of not doing what I want. I'm also tired of artists taking my money and not doing my artwork. As such:

Commission TOS:
- I have begun work on a terms of service bit that all artists will have to confirm that they have read and understand the first time I commission them. Artists have them and use them to their advantage so I plan on protecting myself in the same way.


This fandom has brought me some great friends but jesus some of the furs out there are fuckwads.

Not feeling any better and 16 doctors are unable to answer what is up. Trying new injections of hormones which blows because injections. Maybe if I make it I will have money to spend once again. Drove for the first time in a year today and only maimed a few people, so that's good. So going back to work next week sometime.

Just have to scrape that up and I'll never have to deal with FA downtime again. $20k is the initial estimate on building a new site I have mentioned in the past weeks and it seems reasonable for the work needing to be done. A more specific estimate should be coming in the next few days.

To those that berated me for wanting to build a better site, I hope you enjoyed the last week of no fa. Perhaps that will have changed your tune just a bit.

First I want to thank you all for commenting on my last journal, I had a much better turn out than I could have expected. I hope to use that information soon!

Second: On Wednesday they are going to do a procedure to try and figure out why I have such pain. This will hopefully either confirm one or two things, or eliminate a whole bunch. The last time they screwed around with me I got worse so I am a bit iffy. Tuesday will be prep so I won't be on much and afterwards I hope to be back to my lurking self.

Third: Sucks cause this means that I will be down for Halloween as well as possibly my birthday if something goes wrong. If everything goes right I may try going back to work because being without pay for a year on medical leave blows pretty hard. Thus the dragon/krogan/rex/turian/snake may either be recovering or working on his birthday. Hooray.

What would it be? I'm looking for specifics and not wanting to start or deal with drama. If you don't want to see cub stuff or vore or whatever feel free to say so without fear of judgement. Alas for having no money. Well to be honest with said sale, I would likely still have no money but have an armload of games instead. Which is just as good right?

Likely TMI ahead but sections are labeled so that they can be read or ignored easier.

Raffle Pieces:
Two artists are working on them and I have gotten a few looks and they are progressing but the artists appear to be going through a bit of a rough time so I ask that we (myself included) be patient. They will hopefully be brilliant and worth twice the wait.

Health:
Saw my 11th doctor yesterday, still no answers. The 10th wanted me to start testosterone as I am low, 200 instead of being around 900. The last doctor said that testosterone would really do too much to fix my troubles but started talking about my odd liver enzyme levels using the word "Hepatitis." He is concerned that I have had bleeding excessively at times to the point where I have to get into the shower as to not mess up the carpet or rugs. I just presumed I was becoming a woman or something.

So I shall be seeing a gastroenterologist at the end of the month to see if the 'Multiple Sclerosis, heart problem, degenerative back disease, Chrones, tumor, broken balls, hepatitis" is fatal or not. I hope they can narrow it down a bit and find out why now my hands aren't functioning well and it is hard to type or even play video games.

Art:
I find myself tiring of the porn I commission, I'm excited to get something that others will enjoy but I find little satisfaction in such pieces as of late. While on medical leave I don't have money to get art anyway but once I do, I think that I shall be getting more clean art for a bit.

Overall:

I sit here day after day while on leave in my late grandfathers house alone and see myself starting to go downhill, lonely and withdrawn. I want to talk and yet when I message others or others message me I find I have little to say. I don't do anything so I have nothing new to talk about and that makes me feel worse. So if you talk to me and I don't say much, know you know why. I hurt and am not getting better.

Liara was the obvious favorite with 46% of the vote, followed by Coral and Baera tied at 15%. Many of the ideas are so awesome that I shall likely be commissioning them in the future and many are so horrible that I shall never speak of them again.

To celebrate the fact that I may have to quit my dream job due to whatever is wrong with my hip/spine, I figured that I should make someone else happy to lift my mood. First week of work is complete! To celebrate I wish to bounce an idea off all of you, please let me know what you think as that is kind of the point of this journal. Many people ask me about getting artwork with Liara and more ask me if I'll pay for said art of them plus my characters. I am looking for an artist that would be interested in doing at least one commission a month, full color and shading, of one of my snake gals and said other persons sona. Doing just about whatever the artist and I are comfortable with.

I have an artist or two that I'm looking at, but this is going to be an ongoing project as I'm not going to be getting my suit. If you are or know someone who might be interested in such a job, lemme know. They will need to provide an example of one or both of my snake girls in the style/detail level they intend to do for every picture, but I'm not looking for free art; I'm looking to give it out.

To get you with one of the gals it would be the standard: post journal, pick number, get given number, etc. kind of thing. There would also be a possibility for getting another piece if you desire to pay for it, with all funds going to the artist, but that hasn't been nailed down yet. A kind of auction for a second picture a month for those who really really want it. Any of you be interested in getting either clean or adult artwork for free with Liara or Coral?
