How come it is so hard to sell anything to furries?!? This is the second time I have had a committed buyer back out or not pay for my suit I'm trying to sell! The first time I was even willing to give a month for them to gather payment and asked that if they couldn't do it to please let me know. When the month was over and I requested payment they said they were backing out! They couldn't have let me know this earlier instead of waiting!

Then I go to try TheDealersDen and I get a buyer only for them to bid, win, but never pay or respond to any of my messages!

So in the end the suit is still up for sale. At this point I might just start considering any offers or maybe try my luck on eBay again. The suit is practically brand new and has only been worn a few times but I think it's smaller size limits the buyers.

Anyone Know of some artists open for some cute Halloween themed icons? I could use a new one

I know its kinda late since its coming up this weekend but are there any furs out there in the Hampton Roads area heading to NeckoCon this weekend? I was thinking of trying to suit a bit there but thought it would be more fun to go as a group. :D

This is just a rant so feel free to ignore it.

I don't know if I'm the only one who notices this or comes across more then a few peoples pages like this, and by this I mean the people that create accounts on FA only to post pictures of cars or trains or things completely un-furry related.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with people say posting a picture of their car or maybe a fun photo from their day among their gallery. That is totally awesome and I actually enjoy seeing these pictures from my friends but what gets me is the people that have nothing but a gallery full of cars, trains, ships, or some other random hobby and that's also all they have in their favorites. The site is called FURaffinity after all, a site dedicated to the creation and sharing of anthropomorphic art. I just feel FA shouldn't be treated like a Flicker account.

Just heard the news that there finally releasing The Lion King on Blu-ray come October! I can't wait!

There also putting it back in theaters for 2 weeks starting September 16th! I hope one of the local theaters near me will get it!

Finally another semester under my belt with one more to go till graduation. You know you've been away from FA from way to long with you have a million submissions and journals to go through 0.o

Hoping to finally get together with the awesome local furs in the area who keep trying to pull me out of my cave over in Hampton.

It makes me sad that AC is coming up pretty fast but I don't think I can work it this year. Between needing to save my vacation days for the wedding and the fact that I don't think my car would make the drive to PA in one piece but there's always other cons :D

Oh! Anyone know any good artists that are open for icon commissions??????? I totally need a new one and it seems like everyone is pretty full on their commission lists and I don't want to wait months to get it.

So what local VA furs out there plan on making a appearance at NekoCon in Hampton this year?

I haven't had a place to suit sense Anthro Con so I'm really wanting to at least poke around a bit. The weather has been perfect for suiting lately as well, nice and chilly.

Also I know in the past they have been picky on full face masks but I'm hoping as long as I stay out of the dealers room they wont rag me about it to much.

Had a really great time going geocaching for the first time with my fiance. To all the 757 furs, there is a ton of locations all around the local area if your ever looking for a little adventure or something to pass the time. I used a hand-held GPS but a lot of phones come with them built in now-a-days :)

I saw a few people selling them at AC in the dealers den but didn't see any in the color that I wanted. Does anyone know anyone who makes them or is selling any? Would love to get one in maybe a black and white checkerboard pattern.

I'm off of work today, or well for the next 2 days and I hear my phone ring and I look at its a call from work, so I ignore it and let it go to voice mail. After finishing lunch I decided to listen to the message and its my boss calling about something he could of well waited to talk to me about the next time I worked. It was something that did not need immediate attention nor did it really need a response from me at all.

To not go into to much detail since you wouldn't understand the situation exactly unless you worked where I do, he was pretty much calling to tell me that I hadn't performed a task that I wasn't even aware I was supposed to have done asking me why I hadn't done it.

There was no need for him to contact me on my day off at home for something so simple and not important. I was relaxing but now I just feel tense and annoyed.

Vent/Rant over. Even if no one reads theses, it makes me feel better to write them.

Now that I finished this I feel it was almost pointless since I answered "negative" to most of the questions lol oh well.

As the month nears its end I get closer to having in hand my first fursuit made by the talented  surfcatcostumes I can't wait I'm so excited! I also can't believe AC is only about a month away as well, it seemed like just yesterday I was reserving a hotel room. All around life is pretty good, recently engaged, raise at work, and storm season is upon us here in VA. I LOVE storms.

On a off topic does anyone else have trouble explaining to their co-workers what type of con they need time off for? lol As hard as I try to explain I usually just get the "deer in head lights" look 0.o

Woke up this morning to find a card next to the bed. My boyfriend was already gone sense he has to leave way earlier to work then I do. I opened the card and it read as follows:

"I love you more then anything, and although I don't understand the need to dress like a mascot.....I do support anything that brings you happiness. Have a furry good b-day"

Then as a gift he had put some money towards my fursuit that I have on order. It meant the world to me reading that card and knowing that he might not want to dress up with me he still understands and is accepting of my crazy ways.

Set my alarm early this morning (early for a day off that is) to make sure I was on the net by 9am for the Westin Hotel reservations. Got my room and couldn't be more excited. Can't wait to get my suit as well, only a few more months to wait. : D
