Posted 9 years agoSo I know I haven't been around much, at least not very vocal in my activity or anything. I've had a lot happen in the last couple months.
* I had weight loss surgery August 23rd (Everything went fine and I am well)
* Work has been piling on the hours
* I've been struggling real hard with my depression as the weather has changed and life has just become increasingly difficult
* I am re-learning how to eat and what my body will/won't tolerate now
And it's come to my attention that I love each and every one of you. Even if we don't talk, even if I don't know you, or even if you don't know me. I love you. Just know that. You are very important to me and those that love you as well.
I've recently been wanting to get back into writing and might post some tidbits here and there, because I really want to work on my books. I want to get them published some day. That's my life goal, to be an author. But with my depression acting up, it stopped all progress and made me pretty much live in this work-home-work-home type of rut. I'm trying to push myself to do something so that I can maybe break through this veil of darkness I'm battling with.
I am also looking for people to maybe write with, like Roleplaying or planning out a story that we write together or something. Like some of the famous authors do when they dual or triple co-write. I would be excited to see some of the ideas of other writers and get the chance to produce something with them :3

A tragedy in the family
Posted 9 years agoSomething terrible happened this night. The passing of my father's cat, Kiki Mow. She had a nasty habit of skirting around cars in motion and tonight was the night she pushed her luck just a little too far. Unfortunately, it was my father who has the misfortune of being the device through which she met her end.
I know she is in a better place and that she didn't suffer. Her passing was instantaneous. But my heart breaks for the sounds of distress my father made after the incident. I was part of the clean up crew. It was a fairly clean passing, so at least that horror won't be playing in his mind all the time. But I feel truly sorrowful that he blames himself for it.
I want any who read this to know that my dad adored and spoiled that cat. He would never have done anything to hurt her. And if you had seen how he cried as I saw, you would know that their bond is one that can never be replaced or forgotten. My dad wants to bury her in our yard (yes, I know of the sanitation issues, but we are giving him this one) so we may be working on that tomorrow morning.
I feel so useless...not being able to comfort my father in his time of need. I just hope he can come to terms with the fact that it wasn't his fault, before he works his way down into his own darkness again.
I have plans, in the future (not sure how far out yet) to maybe get my dad a new kitten, perhaps one that can be an inside/outside cat so that we don't have to worry about something like this and so that mom won't complain about litter boxes. And also so that he will be able to spend more time with and cuddle with, because he has depression, PTSD and possibly some other mental illnesses that require lots of cuddles with furry things. But we'll see how that pans out.
Also, my last note for this, she did not suffer as far as I can tell. It looked as though she was dead on impact. And there wasn't much clean up needed, other than of the body. I did hose down the area of the street for what little blood was there, and did the same for the shovel we used to move her. Not that any of you probably want to hear that, but I figure it was the cleanest way she could have gone aside from old age.
You will be missed, Kiki. But I hope you have found your own slice of happiness beyond this realm.

Posted 9 years agoSo, a lot has happened since the beginning of the year.
I've started a journey learning the German tongues :D It's a lot of fun and I like it a lot. I'm still a beginner right now, though. n n;;
I've started teaching myself how to make bento lunches for my mother and I. It is also a lot of fun, and I can use these skills to appreciate a culture different from my own! :D I'm also learning some new ways to cook and new flavors that I like. Like Kimchi o3o never knew I would love something like it so much~
I got a new car!!! It's an '04 Oldsmobile Alero. Black. It's hot as fuck. LOL It needs a little work done, but my dad is both teaching me how and helping me fix up my car. The hood was dented when I got it, so we went to the junkyard and got a nearly mint condition hood that is dark enough blue you almost can't tell it doesn't match. I kind of like it. We also got me a new trunk lid that has a spoiler :P Dad's idea. We haven't installed it yet, because it needs to be taken apart and cleaned. Not to mention other little things that we've been working on; seat belt stop kits so that the buckle doesn't slip to the floor every time, new cables for the passenger seat so that it will be able to recline again, cleaning the mold out of the trunk, getting prep kits for my car (jumper cables, first aid, etc) and all that nifty little stuff :3
It's a lot of stuff in such a short time, but it feels like this year is going to be a really good one.
Oh! Before I forget! Here's my sob story for this journal entry LOL
I've struggled with being overweight almost all my life, because of compiled medical conditions and hereditary traits that have stacked against me during my years. I'm only almost 24 and I weigh almost...or maybe now...400 pounds. Or almost 182 Kilograms for those who use metric. It has caused me many more health problems and much pain. BUT! here's where the story gets a glimmer of hope :D
I have contemplated for a long time, because working out relentlessly, starving myself and dietary plans just didn't seem to help, I will be getting gastric bypass. This is a very big decision for me. It will change my entire life and the things that are important to me. Because as it is, I very much do love food. I love the different tastes and how you can combine them to make new flavors and how things look when you cook them. But it is more important to me that I be able to breathe and not hurt every time I do anything. So, to wrap up this thought, on the 18th of April will be my first appointment: my consultation appointment. That will be the day my new journey begins. I don't know how long it will be before I get the surgery, but up until then, I will be working out again, eating based on a list of acceptable foods that will help with the weight loss. I have a great support system in my life already, but I thought I would let my other friends know too :3
Sorry that my journal is so long! Homigosh! But so much stuff is happening this year and it's going so fast!! Next thing I know, I'll have my own apartment and begin my journey towards college and becoming an author! :D I'm so excited. 2016 is the year for this kitten!!

I'm hoping to do a lot more this next year than I did during this previous one. It's just been crazy with work and managing my personal life that I haven't had much downtime. But we'll see if my balancing skills have gotten better in the past year :P
Hope everyone is having a great Christmas (for those who celebrate) or are just enjoying their day (for those who don't).

I'm trying to get a job and save up some money because I need a car, I need an apartment, and I need a new tablet. Buuuut~ Most of all, I just need a job to be getting some money. Hehe. I'm working on it.
Anyways, in the meantime, I'm thinking about seriously doing commissions and stuff (mostly for funsies, but also because pocket money to help my parents out a bit) and maybe some freebies in there just to get my name out there? Eh. I still think my art sucks, but practice is the only way to get better. :D We can do this, guys~

One of my dearest friends, you know her here as faewhyn is going through a really tough spot...and being as I don't have a job, I can't toss my change at her, because I have none....
If someone out there could do me a favor of handing me some money via paypal, I would do just about ANYTHING, however, it has to be art related. Whether it's drawing, writing (stories and poems), or I guess I would even be willing to turn on my mic and maybe sing you a song, I don't care at this point.
She's been handed a really shitty hand from the get-go and has managed to hold out until now...but it looks like she's going 100mph only to smash face first into a brick wall with how her life is going right now.
Please, someone out there, anyone at all. Even though I don't have much faith in my own work, doesn't mean someone out there doesn't appreciate it for whatever it's worth.

Posted 13 years ago..well, I got on today, for the first time in ever. Had like...almost 2500 submissions to look through, OMG!
I've got it down to 1034 now...but I'm losing the will to do much of anything...
Yesterday was probably one of the worst days in my family ever...and I'm finding it very hard to pull out of this depression that's been going on for the last couple weeks...
I don't even want to actively live anymore..I mostly just sleep or lose myself in music so that I don't have to hear the voices in my head tell me how much my family hates me and how much of a bother I am to people...
Long story short, my siblings hate me, my parents think I'm a burden, and I want to die...
So yeah...not feeling that great...see ya on the flip side..

None. I sleep in my room alone, and I don't currently have a significant other.

I'm going to come up with some pre-poses and I'll pick 3 winners. The pictures will be lined and colored. I haven't decided on flats or shaded yet, so I'll keep you posted on that.

My bank happened to be taking money from me as a "monthly service fee" because I couldn't put a $500 direct deposit in there monthly nor could I use my debit card 10+ times/month. Well no fucking DUH! God! Idiots! I specified "I do not have a job." When I reactivated the account I told the man "I just got out of high school, am not in college and am unemployed". The banker I saw today said that every monthly fee thus far has been canceled from taking money out of my account. LIES! This is not the first time I've had money taken from my account.
So I transferred my almost $11.00 from paypal to my bank account...then I find out my account had been overdraft by almost $8.00...
I seriously have $2.27 to my name, no job and currently no one is commissioning me. I'm broke. Tomorrow is my birthday..I turn 20. Sunday, I'm supposed to be going to Seattle to go to a place called Uwajimaya's. It's an Asian Supermarket...it's Heaven.
No mom is going to spend some money on me, yes...but I had wanted to buy some things with my own money....now I can't....Fuck you bank...Fuck you...
Now I have to search through some different banks, call them tomorrow, ask them some questions to make sure this shit won't happen again. If all else fails, mom will open me an account at her bank because they aren't assholes and take money from the accounts.
