Horror in Wolfwood Ch. 2

A small group was gathered in front of the spooky looking mansion. Two figures approached hesitantly and drew the attention of the snow leopard male standing in front of the group. "This attraction is by appointment only. You ladies will have to move along." he said as he spotted them.
One of the two females rubbed the back of her head embarrassed as the group turned to look at her. "Oh. I'm so sorry. We were booked to go in half an hour ago. We got lost on the way here thanks to the GPS." said the white pantheress.
"I see. That explains why the previous group was smaller than booked. Alright. I don't mind if you go in with this group. You paid for this experience after all." he said as he returned a warm smile.
"I can't believe I let you rope me into this Marilyn." said Celeste behind the panther. The bat girl held a look of annoyance on her face.
"Oh come on Celeste. Sabrina and Alice didn't want to go. I promise I'll stop by C.C.'s and get you something sweet tomorrow." said Marilyn hopefully.
"Fine..." replied Celeste as a small blush lit up her cheeks at the thought of sweets from her favorite bakery.
"Well if you ladies are ready the rules are simple. You'll have up to two hours to navigate the maze inside." chimed in the snow leopard.
"Two hours? But we're only thirty minutes late. Is our group still inside then?" asked Celeste quickly as she heard this.
"Your group is already done. They didn't last thirty minutes." replied the male.
"They didn't?" asked Marilyn confused.
"I mean the maze didn't. They were so good they breezed through it in short order." the silver haired male corrected himself. He cleared his throat as the doors of the manor began to open slowly behind him. "Alright folks. Welcome to the 'House of Ten Dimensions'. Good luck." he said as he motioned for the group to enter.
Marilyn and Celeste stepped forward with the small group. The panthress' eyes began to glow suddenly as images flashed in her mind.
A knife, hair, dripping glowing water, dirt, fire, a seat made for toture. Different images of mangled and torn up bodies flashed before her as she began to hold her head in pain.
"Marilyn?" what's wrong?" asked Celeste quickly as she noticed this.
"This is wrong. Something's off here. We can't let the doors close." said the white furred feline with difficulty.
Celeste looked up, but as she moved back to the doors they were just about closed. The last thing she saw on the other side of the doors was a smug smile on the snow leopard watching them close. She turned to see the members of the group wandering off in different directions. "Wait! Don't leave!" she shouted before a flash lit up the room. All of the other furs vanished in an instant and left Marilyn and Celeste alone.
The bat girl opened her eyes after the flash confused and looked down to see Marilyn still holding her head with her left hand, but in her right she held her wand. "I stopped us from being transported. But we're not out of danger yet. Tell me you brought your wand." said the pantheress.
"Of course. But what's going on Marilyn?" asked Celeste confused.
"This is a Dimension House alright. But it's not an attraction. The manor is a gateway to an untold number of dimensions. Demons hide in them to mask their presence." explained Marilyn.
"Demons? So that snow leopard outside..."
"Is probably a warlock with a pact to bring unsuspecting mortals to the demon in question." finished the feline.
"This is bad. We have to get those people out of here." said Celeste quickly.
"We'll try. There's no guarantee even we'll make it out alive." said Marilyn cryptically.
So the House of Ten Dimensions has claimed new victims. But unbeknownst to the warlock behind it, he's also trapped a couple of witches as well. What will happen to them all?
So here is the ych story I've been working on. There will be five slots. $15 each slot. Each member of the group has been transported to a different dimension world within the house. What will they come across? What life threatening danger will they face? And will they make it out alive?
If you are interested I please comment below and we'll discuss your fate. What peril will you be forced to brave? And what will be the outcome of your struggle?

In case you missed this from my main account. Announcement.
General | Posted 8 years agoAlright first off an announcement. I really hoped I wouldn't have to do this, but I am cancelling the current commission queue I have. I have kept you all waiting for far too long, and it's time to admit to myself that I just can't complete the stories at this time. My deepest apologies to all of my commissioners. I have no excuse. I have failed you all. I won't open for commissions again until I am stable enough in living arrangement, healthwise, and jobwise so that I can actually focus and get these stories out to you if you'll choose to give me another chance. It also being the holidays, and these commissions weren't paid for up front, it would not be fair to suddenly spring a commission on you in case you've forgotten about it.
My life has been one chaotic roller coaster this year and hopefully things will settle down and allow me to breathe next year.
Heath: My surgery recovery is going well. It will still be some months before I'm back to full health. But for now not being on crutches and/or popping pain medicine like candy on a regular basis is good enough.
Living Arrangement: As I've mentioned in a previous journal, my father sold the house I grew up in earlier this year. Since then things have been a bit...rough. I have been sharing a small one bedroom apartment with my father and little sister for the past few months. My surgery pushed back plans my dad had to move back to his home state. But as far as I know that's still in the works. For the present though I have made arrangements to move away from LA to another city and get my own apartment. I've been approved for a two bedroom place and I am very excited. My father and sister are reportedly going to come with me, but they will be getting their own place.
Job wise: I took a look at how my life was shaping up earlier this year. I felt trapped in a position that I never chose for myself that I've been in for near eleven years. And though I hate to lose that time, I never chose this job in the first place. Also I mostly kept it to help dad pay the mortgage on the house. Now that the house is gone I don't have that hanging over my head anymore and am free to make the first choices for my life. Being where I will live and what I will do to support myself. I will be a taxi driver. I have visited my best friend a ton of times over the past three years in the city I'll be working in and around, and have loved the area each time. So I have chosen to pursue m passion for driving and make it into a job I can use to support myself at least until I find a better job driving, or until I get a higher class license or certificate to get a better job. So this past Monday much to the chagrin of my soon to be former boss I put in my two weeks notice. (though I told her of this plan a month ago while I was recovering from surgery.) She has since tried to convince me to change my mind, but I can't. This seems like a perfect opportunity for me and I want to see this decision through. I already have everything set up to begin the new job in the new year, and all I have to do is finish off these last two awkward weeks and a new chapter can open in my life.
So yeah a lot going on in my life this year. It was not the best decision to open for commissions when I did, and I apologize again to those who are undoubtedly disappointed in me. I promise that next time I open, I will get them finished in a timely fashion should you choose to give me another chance.

An apology Part Deux
General | Posted 8 years agoSo here's where things are now. My family is at the halfway point of the move. The house we were living in has been sold and we're in a (much) smaller apartment until everyone is able and ready to make their respective moves to where they are going to go. In the meantime I have torn my acl in my left knee during the move. Yay me. So I have to have surgery on that in two weeks time. This has all been one big mess and I wish it was all over already.
In regards to commissions I want to assure you all that no one has been forgotten and I will be getting to them as soon as I am able, which is looking to be following my surgery since I'll have mandatory time off from work to recover and heal. If anyone wants to cancel their slot I would not blame you in the slightest. This wait has been ridiculously long, and is one of the reasons I do not charge upfront when taking commissions.
So to recap. Family move not done yet, I hurt myself and need surgery. And I will be getting to commissions in the following weeks. Anyone that wants to cancel their slot please let me know and I will take you off the list.

An apology
General | Posted 8 years agoTo my commissioners I am sorry this has taken a while. My family is moving house, and I find myself stretched for time from work, to boxing and moving stuff into storage, to apartment hunting for myself. This is all very new to me and I didn't expect things to happen so quickly and suddenly. I will get back on the commissions as soon as I am able. Once again I apologize for the long wait.
