Furaffinity Browser Extension
Posted 7 months agoNew Furaffinity Browser Extension.
Hey you all,
Over at GreasyFork I created multiple userscripts to add multiple quality of life features to FA.
Those Scripts include (Link at bottom):
- Embedded Image Viewer
- Infini-Gallery
- Webcomic Auto-Loader
- Watches Favorite Viewer
Since I updated and improved those scripts more and more. I felt like it was time to convert and combine these into one Browser Extension.
So that brings us to the current state. I got everything working on chrome a few days ago. At the bottom you will find the Github Link to the Project.
Currently I simply named it Furaffinity-Features. Since the Features are so diverse I couldnt think of a better name (feel free to suggest some things).
The plan is to get the Browser Extension working on Firefox first and then make the first release, but the Scripts mentioned above will probably receive the update before though.
You can already use the old Scripts at GreasyFork or wait for the First Release for the Browser Extension
If you are interested feel free to ask, suggest or contribute on Github

Improving Furaffinity / Useful Furaffinity Scripts
Posted 2 years agoHelo Helo,
Perhaps some might know the Browser extension Violentmonkey. The extension makes it possible to insert your own Javascript scripts into a website. I'm working on multiple scripts to improve the Furaffinity experience. So I wanted to share my scripts for Furaffinity with you. So if you are interested just install Violentmonke for your favorite Browser and perhaps a few of my Scripts. (There are also lots of other scripts from other people)
Violentmonkey
Here are my current scripts:
Webcomic Autoloader -> Adds a Load Comic Button below a FA Comic Page
Fast Favoriter -> Adds a +Fav button below each Submission in the Gallery View
Embedded Image Viewer -> Embeds the clicked Submission on the Gallery Page without opening it
Infini-Gallery -> Makes the Gallery load next Pages and ininitely Scroll
Watches Favorite Viewer -> Scans for new Favorites of Users you are watching (like submissions but with favorites)
If you have any more ideas feel free to comment them, so I can perhaps implement them or make new Scripts ヾ(•ω•`)o

How to get Transparent Profile Picture on FA
Posted 3 years agoFirst: The reason why your Profile Picutre replaces any transparency with black is because Furaffinity converts any non gif file to a gif file. In this convertion information is lost which comes with a loss of Quality and Transparency.
The Solution is to upload a gif directly so FA doesn't convert it:
1. Open your Transparent Image in an Image-Editing Software like Photoshop (Paid) or GIMP (Free) (alternatively there are more than enought online converters which probably also work)
2. Export your Image as a .gif file format
3. Upload your new gif to FA as your new Profile Picture.
Now your Profile Picture has much more Quality and supports Transparency
