2018 Stuff and Junk

(I like Jar Jar, okay?) I hope everyone is having a nice 2018! It's only been a week, but I'm getting positive vibes so far. Knocks on wood. My new job is going well. In December, I was hired as a real employee instead of just a temp. I'm getting along well with my coworkers, and though the work is stressful at times I don't dread coming in every day. I feel like I can be myself here.
This ties into my goals for 2018. I'm trying to open up more in real life, to put myself out there. Contrary to my online persona, I'm not open about myself irl. Like, at all. I really want to change that. I'm a little nervous, so I'm taking small steps at first. But I'm hopeful!

Devils Tower is going slowly but steadily. Things have changed - for the better, imo - and I've been stuck on trying to figure out how to make it work. But I'll persevere! \o/

Junk I Learned and Other Stuff

As my followers on Deviantart know, I decided to engage Inktober this year. In doing so, I learned a few things, one: I have a really weird imagination (which I already knew), and two: drawing is a really great way to spur inspiration. Around the beginning of October, I was struggling to come up with ideas. My muse was refusing to cooperate, as it often does. After drawing some silly things for a few days, I was starting to feel inspired again. Before I knew it, I was coming up with new ideas, creating new characters, revisiting old ones. I felt rejuvenated. Down the road, I'll definitely keep this in mind. 😁
There are a ton of surprises in store for Devis Tower (my scifi novel on dA), and I can't wait to write them!❤

Stuff or Whatever

They say, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." But who wants to drink lemonade all the time? If you've given it your all, but things aren't getting better and everything seems to be working against you, sometimes you have to make a drastic change, for your own sanity. Wash your hands, forget the past, move on. When the chips are down and you're dealt a losing hand, you learn who really has your back, and who just wants to see you fall. Those people - the downers, the naysayers, the hypocrites - don't deserve you, and you owe them nothing. It may sting at first, but in the end the clouds will begin to part and you'll see that the skies really are blue behind all that bleakness. You are special. You are important. You deserve better.

Life and Stuff
Posted 8 years agoHello, awesome watchers. Just a small life update, I guess. I've been feeling pretty down for the past few months. (Well, more so than usual 😉) I need a change, something different and new. I've said this before to no avail, but I decided it's time to start seriously looking for work again. My current job has been massively draining on my creativity and motivation in general. The job market's pretty lousy, and I tend to get discouraged easily, but I'm trying to keep faith that something will come.
Thanks for sticking with me during this rough time. 😊 As always, I will continue to work on my story Devils Tower and post new scenes on my DeviantArt when I finish them. (Link in my bio) I also have new Noah x Asher scenes in the works, so stay tuned! ^^

Stuff and Junk or Whatever
Posted 9 years agoThinking about becoming active here again. Y!Gallery, where I used to post my NSFW art, is still being reconstructed. I don't have any furry writing at the moment, but I do have quite a few human and Kemonomimi characters. Also, I'm thinking about creating a furry teen romance story in the (hopefully) near future. I haven't done much writing lately, as I've had a lot on my plate, but I'm trying to get back into the groove. So stay tuned!
