How I feel about 20 years of Derideal.......
Posted 4 weeks agosigh I cannot believe it's over, you know what, mine is means to Derideal,in which I clearly knows that it has been running for nearly 20 years,in which next year will 2026,which will be the 20th year's in creation and the year after the next year 2027 will be 20 years in online* (*All according to the year's of both in creation and in online respectively, both 2006 and 2027)
One day ago, over the influences of the Derideal finale "Catharsis",in which ending a chapter of a great Webcomic in 20 years, despite style changing,Reboots and such..........
In responses to that,I personally typed the letter with enthusiasm and confidence about what I think of Derideal and it's author and how does it means for it and such.....
This is the comment I made for this website........
Hey Andres Barra AKA by most of us as “Kiaun Conejillo”,
You know, when I first look at your art,I saw some or few and I did enjoy it,but when it comes to Derideal, firstly,I was a newbie to that, but then time went by,I saw some comics, and suggestions as well as get along with the comments with it’s nature’s as well,I was fully equipped with that knowledge, like what me and my parent’s sugest I should do it,but now,I did to do so,my parent’s suugest me to myself that I should know a lot of well education to equipped myself for good future, and for my future to work and do my best dream as well, but sometimes I maybe a little difference and stupidity and lazy, but still, experience and hobbies and some wise words knows best,I might regret for miss some to do,but your Webcomic give us some confidence to all artist,I think a award fot that is also usual, you see, when in 2006,this Webcomic was originally a notebook sketch on a certain Sunday in a sunny Chile, then time went by……so does yourself,You skilled and skilled, from a simple notebook sketch,to a massive webcomic/ web-graphic novel universe full of possibilities,There is always a luck to do some, always a will to do such,I see how character suffer and pain,as we as their opposite like joy and pleasure,if there’s anything I can say for most to compare or such,is that Laura’s life is kinda remind me of such thing’s I got aside of that, for instance, just recently,I saw one of my favorite, don marquis’ “archy and mehitabel”,from what i see from mehitabel and laura,is that like mehitabel was cleopatra before, laura in your and mine’s views, was a young girl,a daughter of a doctor berit orzoco, before she was taken by death for sickness, but her father, the doctor we seen before a long ago, tried his best and did succeed outsmart the death and alive, when he resurrect her in a xeno form as a matter of part of research for a project prime, but berit was firstly refused, then regret for all that,as for the Berit Orzoco, she had any responsibility and good takes in her roles,as a mother of the late but revived daughter, misconsider as a monster at first, later deeply reconsider, and as a responsivle scientist, for Daniel Earlson,he show me how unique he is,he can treat fairly and well doing than Wally does,As for Alpha/Aden,despite being shot ant gutted twice or three times,he cannot stop, just like Winston Smith had her Julia before taken away,Aden/Alpha had Twice with Laura and Ivory in his back, and how can I say anything to Carlos Wally? Well,to me,he is like other doctors, and to me,he is like the Archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo, and to me,he was like Richard the 3rd,Duke of Gloucaster,King of England,at least what we seen from the Tudor’s viewpoint,or from Shakespeare’s pen or some from his own despite without any awful attempt when he was attempt to be the first to be the king,He was like General Zod,He was like a low pro Big Brother,He was like a Commander from Farenheit 451,except if he was no experience on that,He was like Fred from the Handmaid’s tale,He was like Adam Sulter from V For Vendetta,He was like The Sheriff of Nottingham and crude Prince John of Robin Hood,He was lime AM from I have no mouth but i must Scream, except he was a flesh diabolical instad of server diabolical,He was like Jullius Caesar or Brutus Caesar,He was like Phillipe Petain,He was like General Augusto Pinochet and Savaldor Allende,What word if i can say to Wally? Perhaps a Old Shakespeare saying goes to King Richard 3rd,King of England,Duke of Gloucaster “If not to Heaven, then hand in hand to Hell!”………
Aside from Shakespeare and All that,i do like Some artist and talents like from the ancient times to modern days,with the likeliness of Harvey Kurtzman,Renè Goscinny,Zhang Le Ping,Andrè Franquin,Francisco Ibáñez,René Ríos Boettiger,from your native country,Chile,Mauricio De Sousa from Brazil,Osamu Tezuka,Fujio Akatsuka,Naoto Oshima,Shigeru Miyamoto,Fujio F. Fujiko,Fujio Fujiko A,Rod Serling,Boris Karloff,Vincent Price,Tim Burton,Jaques Tati,Stephen Chou,Peng Dee,Alfonso Wong Ze,Albert Uderzo,Maurice “Morris” De Bevere,Edward Duncan Ernest “Edd” Gould,Thomas James “Tomska” Ridgewell,Max “Brain Dump/HotDiggedyDemon” Girardi (despite all wacky stuff),Cooper Smith “Gooseworx” Goodwin,The Marx Brothers,Blake Edwards,Chuck Jones,Bob Clampett,Sergio Aragonès,Mark Evanier,Matthew Joseph “MAttLobster” Hargreaves,Bob Kane,Bill Finger,James Rolfe and Doug Walker,George Orwell,Mel Brooks,Mark Twain,Luke “SMG4” and Kevin “Kevdevz” Lerdwichagul,Liam Vickers,James Lee,Burnie Burns and Matt Hullum from Roostr Teeth,Monty Oum,William Gaines,Don Simpson,Jim Lee,Erik Larsen,Tom Richmond,Steve Martin,Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla,Carl Reiner,Issac Assimov,James Rolfe,Matt Groening,James L. Segar,Craig McCracken,Genndy Tartakovsky,Don Martin,John and Marie Sevrin,Alain Chabat,Shotaro Ishinomori,Go Nagai,Tom Richmind,Desmond Devlin,Part Time Seagull,Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas,Stan Lee,Jack Kirby,Bill Morrison,Mike Reliciano,Eiichiro Oda,Gosho Aoyama,William Hanna and Joseph Barbera,Gene Deitch,Moneky Punch,Tom Ruegger,Eric Schwartz,Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster,Jim Shooter,Fred Hembeck,Harlem Ellison,Jack Davis,Hank Ketcham,Mort Drucker,Wallace Wood,Mort Walker,Charles Schultz,Ted “Seuss” Geisel,Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird,Frank Miller,Ward Sutton (despite with Stan Kelly),Manuel Vazquèz,Orson Welles,Jean Tabary,Spike Milligan,and more….as well as some internet these days and old styles and other talents cortresy of Rafael Vicente Alva “RafvicAlv”,Alan Moore,Terry Jones,Graham Chapman,Eric Idle,John Cleese,Terry Gilliam,Michael Palin,Hayao Miyazaki,Nigel Parkinson,Donny Cates,Jon Hickman,Charles Akira “bakertoons” Brubaker,Major Matt Mason,Billy Crinon,Matt Melvin,Dan MacElfatrick and Rob DenBleaker and Kris Wilson of Cyanide and Happiness,Luke McGarry,Fox Popvli,Brian B. “DotMatrixGame/Beedugart” in which i cant blame for that,never will be,Nakselion from Indonesia who work on “Zoantero” (despite four letter as yours in which i cannot make offensive on that),and from Chinese,we got Xuao2000,土猫Feng (for he also not to blame too),Aquakitty (in which your translator for CN Derideal),and even you.
Despite the above and the latter are some of my favorites and some of yours followers as well,But after all these time,i just wanna say Thank you,Kiaun, for bringing us the Derideal world to us in these 20 years, and by that means,i do means for 2006 when it was just you little notebook page, and 2007 when it was online,I will looking forward to look more of this stories,it has been a pleasure to be in service,The Stories is in full circle,I know its been very hard work trying to end the story,i hope the last note will get a colorful reciept,a last note from you in the Epilogue and Some last word for this Derideal comic for you will be much better to say,it is been a pleasure……We salute you,all the best and worst, but all the great for you.
You make us what we are today, and we also make your day brighter than ever…….Alpha’s feeling is like a undenyable and unshatterable crystal, skmething thst even Wally and his attempt of the Consortium Conditioning treatment can and can’t do,but one thing certainly to say,is that when you thing you are very smart to be expected, you also might get wrong, what goes up for you, must come down to some, like Jack Kirby once said “If you see my characters, you can see me,whatever the character you created or concieve,a little of yourself must remain”……..There is too much to say for it,but to be in short and honest,i saw you in the character, what your character do represent what you have gone to,what the stories see what your feelings for and what you think of the world you see or create for, this is how i describe your work, with a old saying from Jack Kirby fully explains that,it’s being a pleasure to serve the public good.
Thanks,Kiaun for all these wonderful and emotional 20 chapters and 20 years of Derideal
Yours Sincerely,Yours in Excelsior,Your in Frankly and Truly and MADly,and Wisely and Silly to yours.

Revisiting the Creator's Bill Of Rights.
Posted 2 months agoDear Folks, have you ever remember the day that Creators rights was in the hot stake for Comics,It was 1988,a dozens of Comic creators came in a a Massachusetts for a two day summits,to make a declaration of comic creators rights, and Scott McCloud was one of them, although the Bill was never made big impact as expected, but it did Influence a lot for comic creators, who can now allows them to own their work as well as artwork for their published works,no matter Indie,Mainstream,Manga,Manhwa or anything else.....
Here is the Bill that all told by Scott McCloud
The Creator's Bill of Rights
...was written in November 1988 for a two day "Summit" of comic book artists held in Northampton, Massachusetts. The meeting had been suggested by Cerebus creator Dave Sim and hosted by local heroes Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Summit was a follow-up to a July meeting in Toronto which produced a "Creative Manifesto." Some of us found the Manifesto a bit scattered, so I wrote a rough draft of a proposed replacement. That replacement, "A Bill of Rights for Comics Creators" was accepted quickly at Sim's suggestion. The rest of that day was a non-stop argument about the document's wording.
The Bill never generated much noise in the industry and I wouldn't want to exaggerate its influence, but it provides an interesting snapshot of our attitudes at the time, and of the climate that was fueling self-publishers, progressive business people, and artists trying to reinvent the comics industry. A few years later, several top-selling Marvel artists would break from the pack and form a new company called Image, shifting the debate from rights and principles to clout and competition, but both developments would share a common premise, still relevant today: that comics creators already have the right to control their art if they want it; all they have to do is not sign it away.
I was invited in large part because I knew Laird and others through an APA I'd created called The Frying Pan. At my suggestion, Beanworld creator and "Nexus of all Comic Book Realities" Larry Marder was invited too. Larry flew out from Chicago to our place in Arlington, Massachusetts shortly before the meeting. I had the rough draft of the Bill ready but not typed yet. I vividly remember hammering it out on my old manual typewriter as Larry read my notes back to me, right before we rushed out the door to catch a succession of buses and trains to Northampton. While waiting for the bus in Springfield, we found a copy shop and photocopied my hastily typed hand-out. It was also on that trip that I showed Larry my notes for a comic book about comics that I had been working on for a few years.
After the first day of debates, everyone stumbled out of the Hotel Northhampton into the cold New England air to walk the five or so blocks to dinner. I remember Larry and I lagged behind a little. I had argued with Dave Sim about every imaginable issue that day as if my life depended on it, but walking to dinner, it all seemed pretty distant already. Larry and I talked more about my notes for the comic book about comics. I asked him if he thought those ideas would mean a lot more in the long run than anything I could accomplish in Northampton. He said yeah, they probably would.
When those notes became Understanding Comics it was Kevin Eastman's money that paid me to finish it – money he and Peter had earned because they refused to give away their creation the way so many artists had before them.

The right of approval over the reproduction and format of our creative property.
4.
The right of approval over the methods by which our creative property is distributed.
5.
The right to free movement of ourselves and our creative property to and from publishers

The right to employ legal counsel in any and all business transactions.
7.
The right to offer a proposal to more than one publisher at a time.
8.
The right to prompt payment of a fair and equitable share of profits derived from all of our creative work.
9.
The right to full and accurate accounting of any and all income and disbursements relative to our work.
10.
The right to prompt and complete return of our artwork in its original condition.
11.
The right to full control over the licensing of our creative property.

You are Worthless,David Zaslav
Posted 2 months agoThis is a parody of a song that was featured in the Team America Movie,i Spoof this song with David Zaslav.
I was sent from planet Mars to conquer the Earth
I had a terrific plan
I thought it would work
Tried to get their entertainment to pure piece by pieces
You see
But it all went wrong and now I must decree
You are worthless, David Zaslav
You are worthless, David Zaslav
You failed in every way and now my stock in you has fallen.
Your career is stalling and you're worthless, David Zaslav
That's why I sacked your seats off
And your children are all bawling
Planet Mars is inhabited with Martians like me
But also with Venus whose blocked in sight by the Earth
The Martians and the Venusians are In attempt to contact with
So we wanted to remove one problem and thats what Earth was for
But you are worthless, David Zaslav
You are worthless, David Zaslav
You messed up my whole plan
And now Mars is Blow with pieces
Your garbage needs some hauling
And you're worthless, David Zaslav
Now I must return home a failure
I'm afraid I need to came up with a next Plan....

I've Got Them on the List (I'm still Got a Little List)

As some day it may happen that a victim must be found,
I've got a little list — I've got a little list
Of society offenders who in Above and underground,

There's the pestilential nuisances who write for autographs —
All those who still have flabby hands and irritating laughs—
All children who still get dates, yet using VR-Chat—
All those whose still do shaking hands, whatever you like that—
And Tucker Carlson and his so-irritating streaming service too—
They'd none of 'em be missed — they'd none of 'em be missed!

Queen Felicia (and King Frederick):
As some day it may happen that a victim must be found,
I've got a little list — I've got a little list
Of society offenders who in Above and underground,
And who never would be missed — who never would be missed!
The Chrous (the Royal Guard Ensembled)
They got 'em on the list — They got 'em on the list;
And they'll none of 'em be missed — they'll none of 'em be missed

BLAME ZASLAV
Posted 2 months agoThe recent events shocked the entire kingdom of St.Paws, not only that, they decided to assemble a meeting herg in the Library of St.Paws, for such reasons to deal with....
Times have changed
Hollywood's getting worse!
They wont listen to us
Now we got is fart and curse!
Should we blame the President?
or blame society?
or should we blame the news on TV?
NO!
BLAME ZASLAV!
BLAME ZASLAV!
with all his greedy little plans
an' flapping heads so full of scams
BLAME ZASLAV!
BLAME ZASLAV!
We need to form a full assault,
IT'S ZASLAV'S FAULT!
Don't blame me for Hans and Franz
They saw what Zaslav did, now they off to stay
with Krauts!
and my girl Jessie once had these DVDs on her
shelf
But now when we saw that coming, we all screw
out!
Well,
BLAME ZASLAV!
BLAME ZASLAV!
It seems that Everything's gone wrong
Since Zaslav came along,
BLAME ZASLAV!
BLAME ZASLAV!
He's not even a real person, anyway.
We work so hard for all the shows with Proud
and Constitute
Instead he burned them like a piggy on a
barbecue
Should we blame the Taxes?
Or should we blame the IRS? (pronounced eye-
rs)
or Gunnar Winderfels allowed them to expire?
HECK NO!
BLAME ZASLAV!
BLAME ZASLAV!
with Iger and Malone's hullaballoo
and that Schmuck Brian Robbins too
BLAME ZASLAV!
SHAME ON ZASLAV!
For the.....
Smut must be stop!
The tax is all done!
All the Unfair must be undone!
We must act fast, and beat them all,
Before someone came in to BLAME US ALL!
Special thanks to Jamie Gibson from the Facebook group “Animation Lovers against David Zaslav,John Malone and Brian Robbins” for requesting a song parody lyrics and tweaking it for rhyming perfection, and Antonio Avinger Jr. For supporting the blaming to David Zaslav.

Thanks,Mr.Reubens.
Posted 2 years agoPaging Mr. Reubens,Calling Mr. Reubens,Thank you Mr.Reubens......I couldn't believe that, that the Pee-wee himself was dead,no,no the Characters itself,i mean the guy behind the peewee,Mr.Paul Reubens, although We couldn't believe he's dead, but we still wanna have a chance to miss him,we wouldn't miss a chance of talking about this little Kiddie Man himself,So,as for him,My Secret Word was not one,but more than just one,First one is FUN,he bring us a lot of fun across media and some event, the next one is Believe,i Know i probably knew this was from Ted Lasso, but he's not alone when he wasn't the only one who does some Believe,Paul brings us a lot of fun and wild imaginations that even the school wouldn't believe before, now they believed, the third one is Imagination,He's the one of imagination,The last one is REBEL,he's the champion of all fun media,he's a rebel,a loner,he never lose many of his fun,he proves us that Animation is a phenomenon,a Kid philosophy,a culture,a art,a masterpiece Format,a chance for business, and a great childhood piece Ever made, and a piece that the world couldn't separate.
Thanks,Mr. Paul Reubens,if you are still alive,it'll be lucky to meet you.
