I've been mulling things over, and its time that I change.
For so long, I haven't really been doing anything for me, because I felt like no matter what I did, I could never make my Parents proud of anything, and so I never gave anything a full on 100% try.

My images looked ok, but they never had a story to tell. I shouldn't have to write under the image "This is whats going on", but for a while I did.
My images never had good stories behind them, and they certainly weren't powerful enough to convey a story or a feeling without me saying some stupid crappy comment.
Thats not how art should be.

Over the next few months you will notice a sharp decline in published images (and possibly activity) on this and all other sites I display my art on. Its because I am throwing in the towel on random images/characters.

I am going to commit myself to one project from now on.
Because I need to prove to myself that I can finish something I start, instead of throwing it away after 3 weeks.

I am sorry if you enjoyed seeing my drawings, I will post some images from time to time, but not very often.
This is something I really need to do for myself.

(seriously, its like she's permanently attached to his arm, poor guy hasn't had a moment to breathe)

I saw Zootopia tonight and I loved it really I did. ( and the visuals are just AMAZING)
I wanted to draw some fan art for it (I will later) so I went to collect ref images and what comes up?

Now I'm not going to scream to the world "Grrr, stop making the porn of the rabbit and the fox" because thats ridiculous, its a law of the internet and to be honest, I have no issue with people drawing porn of their favorite characters because everyone has secrets (mine are that I hate it when people try to furry RP with me randomly, I had a huge crush on Teenage Simba when I first saw lion king 1 and 1/2 and that until I was 12 I thought that coffee beans came from poop but y'know who cares.)

The issue I have with people and their porn is when they take it from a site like furaffinity where it is censored and move it to a place like Reddit or tumblr and don't censor it, ( probably because they are a massive fucking dickhead or an anti furry moron who is trying to make everyone that isn't them look bad.)

It just pisses me off that people don't care enough about kids to keep this stuff where it's supposed to be.

So I told my mum about everything that has been happening.
Not only did she buy me 5 cook books about healthy eating on a budget, she also gave me a fitbit watch (it monitors your heart rate, step count, daily exercise, weight loss/gain etc)

My partner also went out and got me 2nd hand wiifit (we have a tiny house, so no room for gym equipment, we do walk around the oval behind our house but he wanted to give me something to use on rainy days)

So far, I have lost a total of 5kg, and I am feeling a bit better about myself too, so thats good and as a reward I am going to see zootopia tomorrow night :)


Also I wanted to say that I am opening commissions as I have a convention coming up, and I was hoping to have enough money to take my sister to meet Lucy Lawless there.

I really want to lose some weight, because I am really unhappy with how I look and I want my "friend" to stop making me feel like a fat cow.

I've been suffering through depression for the last 5 years, and I tend to try and make myself feel better I'd eat a lot of sugary rubbish. I know I shouldn't have, but I couldn't help it.

About 3 months ago, my friend started calling herself "fat" around me, she'd say how she really really wanted to lose her pot belly (she hasn't got one, for starters she's a fitness instructor and she used to compete in swimming tournaments. She's basically thinner than a sheet of paper) Any how, she would always tell me about how she wanted to lose heaps of weight. But a few weeks ago, my boyfriend caught her bragging about how much skinnier she is than me and how much she loves the way she looks to her boyfriend.

He didn't tell me till tonight. And at the moment, I'm feeling a bit torn down.
I don't want to confront her about it either, because she basically has the ability to make men do what she wants, and a lot of my friends are guys. I don't want to lose them.

She's already told people that I am a bitch, because I had a break down and she told my friends that I was just being a cow and that a nice person wouldn't throw tantrums. I can't kick her out of my house either, because she is dating one of my male friends and she won't leave his side at all (she gets upset if he goes out without her)

So I was wondering if anyone has any healthy recipes, fitness tips or depression beaters I might try?
I don't want to be bullied anymore. I just want to get to a healthy enough to stop feeling disgusting whenever she tries to make me feel that way.

My school is having a pokemon themed casual day at the end of the month, and I wanted to build a fursuit head to wear to it.
Problem is, I haven't much money, so I can't really afford to go out and buy heaps of fur online (most of the fabric stores I live near don't have good fur)

I have a lot of white, and a fair amount of black. I am considering buying the el cheapo fur since its only for 3 days (School and 2 nerd conventions)

So can people list pokemon that would look good as fursuits (especially when all my fursuits look like dogs)

I had someone add me to their watch list on deviant art recently and when I thanked them they immediately asked for an art trade. But the problem is that I don't want to do art trades with people who A.) I have never spoken to before and B.) who aren't at the same level as me artistically just yet.

I told him I was too busy, but they want me to let them know the minute I become available.
I don't want to hurt anyones feelings, but at the same time, I don't want to have to draw out a full image to receive something I don't want.

So should I just ignore them, or should I set art trade rules that all my watchers should follow?

So I just recently got some bad news from my Mum, that might mean I need to go interstate.
I'm not going to go into detail, but I will say that a family member is in hospital, and it doesn't look good.
So I'm opening my commissions 2 weeks early, so that just in case if something does go wrong I am able to be there for my family.

Its just that, now that I am living off of my commissions (had to quit my job), I need to start drawing nsfw, because unfortunately for me its the only stuff that sells well.

If I didn't have to I wouldn't, but I don't have any successful closed species, and I am most definitely not popular enough to survive off of my art as it currently stands.
So would you think less of me if I started drawing adult art?

After posting it, a friend decided they liked it, and commissioned me to do a similar piece. I thought "yeah ok, no harm in doing that" so I did it. When they posted it, one of their friends decided that they too liked it and asked for one, so I drew them one too.
This cycle continued about 12 times, until I decided to shut commissions.

A year later, another friend asked me to draw one again of their three characters, I wasn't sure about it, but in the end I agreed to it, thats when I realized I had made a mistake. A week later, their friend asked for it, and because I had only just re opened commissions, I would've felt rude to decline them a commission, so I did it for them also.
And then their friend asked for one... and now three more of his friends want one too. And I will be honest, its one of the many reasons I have shut commissions (Please do not ask when they'll be open again, I don't actually know when they will)

I'm just going to say this and I don't care if it sounds blunt (I mean I'm sorry if it does)
After drawing the same picture almost 20 times (just with different characters).... I hate it when people ask for them. It ruins my day completely.
I hate how something I used to be able to look at and get a giggle from now makes me sick and angry.

So from this point onward, I will flat out refuse to draw images like the one above. And to ensure that I will never get in this position again, I will refuse recreating any of my pre-existing pieces.

I've decided to dedicate all my free time to my studies so that I can get a decent job (as well as finishing my fursuit/cosplay that i started).
I'm also going to use this opportunity to say that i will no longer be drawing eye bulging commissions, as I grow tired of drawing the same one time and time again.

SO I thought I should let you all know that Kiki (my dog) Finally got her dental surgery!
She is still a bit sore and very confused (She keeps waking up from her naps, licking her lips and then looking at me in shock because she doesn't understand where her teeth went)
But she is well on her way to being her happy healthy self again :D

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped me in saving up enough money for her surgery, it means the world to me you guys, seriously thank you for helping me save my baby. Stinky Kiki is finally Stink free! :D
