Posted 15 years agoI've just been watching the press conf. between Prime Minister Cameron and President Obama, and I want to know what people IN the UK think of P.M. Cameron. He seems like a good man, to me, and I'm extremely pleased that the relationship between he and Obama seems to be far less frigid than the relations between Obama and Gordon Brown. America and Britain are not unlike siblings; family, with very much in common. Working together I know that great things can be accomplished.
I feel the same towards the UK as I feel toward Canada: As different as we consider ourselves, we are two halves of the same whole; to sides of the same coin. I'm glad to see that we are moving in the proper direction.

Weekly question/art challenge!

Should I do something weekly to involve my watchers?
What day should I do it, if so?
Should it be a question?
Or should it be an art challenge, where I say a random word, and you do a sketch, poem, or narrative based around that word?
Or should it be an art contest? (I think this would be a little far-fetched; I doubt people have the free time to do a full-color piece every week for a contest!)
Or, should I do the question one week, and the challenge/contest the next week, and so on?

Let me tell you this story. And yes, this IS a rage journal. My mom is being arrested for no fucking reason. If ever there was a reason to rage, I say that fits the bill.
This woman has been working for my mom for like, 2 and a half years. They're friends. My mom gets along with everyone she works with. Because she's a good fucking person. It's hard to NOT like my mom. She loves everyone. She's a Christian, but she's one of those "hate the sin, not the sinner" people, not one of those "GOD HATES FAGS" or whatever people. She donates most of her spare money to charities (for people and animals). Anyways. This woman has been working for my mom. Well, my mom hears from her boss that she's got to cut everyone's hours. My mom offers to give up her commission check so this woman's hours don't get cut, because the chick has a sick son who needs surgery to save his life. Mom's boss says no. Mom tells everyone their hours are cut. Bitch throws a shitfit and quits.
Bitch files for harassment? Because apparently, she felt "threatened". By the woman who tried to give up her livelihood for 2 weeks to keep her hours from being cut.
So tomorrow I have to take my mom to jail. We can't afford it but we're not gonna let my 50-year-old mother sit in jail, so we're posting bond.
I can't wait to see this bitch face-to-face. My mom shouldn't be in trouble with the law, I should. I want to rip her fucking throat out. I want to leave a fist-shaped crater where her head used to be. Unfortunately, I have to take a more civil path, so this is what I'm doing instead:
I'M GONNA SUE THIS BITCH FOR EVERY FUCKING PENNY WE EVER HELPED HER TO GET FOR HER SON'S FUCKING SURGERY. THIS SHIT IS HARASSMENT, CUTTING HOURS AIN'T SHIT. WE'RE TAKING THE MONEY BACK. CALLING TROLLS AND NON-TROLLS (Trolling survey! Answer plz!)
Posted 15 years agoI was really interested in knowing if any of the people that watch me consider themselves trolls, or troll people with any regularity.
I don't find trolling to be harmful, personally, because if you take the internet that seriously, well... you kind of deserve it.
But I was wondering, what kind of methods you guys use to troll. Do you do the one word troll (gay, lame, etc.), the violence troll (THIS VIDEO IS SO STUPID. I WANT TO SHOOT YOU), the nonsense troll (THE DACHSUND IS NOT A BREED OF DOG, YOU ARE STUPID), or something else? WHO do you like to troll?
And if you don't troll, what do you think of people who do?
No flame wars here please, ironically enough :) I'm serious. Drama breaks out and the journal goes bye-bye. I never BAAAAWLEET but I want this to be peaceful, so that's my stand.

My schlitzy weekend, but hey, it turned out all right.
Posted 15 years agoUnfortunately this weekend didn't go as planned. I fell sick and because of my father's lack of confidence in my driving ability (I've been driving for more than a year, btw) I didn't get to go to the furmeet yesterday. It rained, so I didn't get to go fishing today, and my mom made me go to church instead.
But, in lighter news, I got my paycheck from that DISGUSTING house I cleaned last week. I would have dropped $40 easy on the trip to the waterpark furmeet yesterday, but since I didn't I could afford to buy a small commission for myself and a friend. And I should be able to get my long-ass hair cut soon, thanks to that. Oh, and this week my dad and I got new nail guns. So that's awesome. I'm thinking about using some spare lumber and building a new shelf because the thrift store "cube shelf" in my room is falling apart. And hey, it'll give me room to put a rat cage, as I may be adopting some new fuzzballs soon. (By the way, rats with fur are SO WEIRD. I never touched one before, it was crazy.)
On that positive note, I think I'll bid you all adieu. By the way, I'm calling for a cessation of comments on my "spay and neuter" journals. I really, REALLY didn't expect all the controversy (I was a bit disappointed in you guys...) and all the arguing is too much. I hate fighting with people, especially friends, who got more angry about it then I was expecting. So if you post there, go for it, but I may not reply, and if I do, it'll be a while.
(By the way, if you don't drink Schlitz then **** you. -Ricky Bobby reference-)

I understand I should have stated in the journal that this does not apply to specialize breeds who are bred to assist humankind, and whose function is still an integral part of life today (herders, seeing-eye dogs, police dogs, and other service animals).
But really? Some of the reasons not to spay/neuter are just stupid. For those of you who are happy to continue contributing to the overpopulation and death of shelter dogs, maybe you should watch this:

Posted 15 years agoLately my mom has been complaining about her cats having stickers in their paws. I was wondering if anyone could tell me a bit about how to prevent stickers/lawn burrs in my yard. The grass type is likely some king of Bermuda or Centipede grass, but neither I or my parents are sure. I can try to research the grass type a bit if it's an integral part of it.

Videos like this make me so excited to possibly have chest surgery one day. Right now I feel so uncomfortable without my binder on, and the binder doesn't even do that great of a job because I happen to be kinda chesty, and there's only so much a piece of cloth can do.
But to hear people who have HAD this surgery describe the freedom it gives makes me want it so bad. You guys know I don't want to be too hasty in this gender stuff in case I change my mind one day, but I can honestly say, I think if someone came up to me and offered to pay for my chest surgery right now, I'd take it.
Man, science is awesome. I just can't wait.
