Unfortunately my Anthrocon plans are in trouble. I have been in a financial pinch the last few months and was not able to get into a room or even my ticket. I missed the chance to apply for the dealers den and honestly I'd still like to go. Is there any mutual or friend out there who might have room for one more? I can sleep on the ground, but I snore badly. Is anybody available who could help me in this situation?

I know this is a hail mary and I doubt I'll be able to make it happen, but it would be nice to get to go still...

Well if you've been listening to me lately, things have been HECTIC around here. Losing my computer, struggling with insurance, catching Covid, inuring my foot, it's been...this last month has been the longest year of my life XD I'm still trying to make Anthrocon however, selling and drawing and such there. So I was wondering who if anybody was going, and if people would want to purchase a badge beforehand?

Thank you all for your continued support and enjoyment of my work through the years, highs and lows, and everything in between <3 I hope this year will be as full of awesome content as I can do, as I push into bigger and bigger projects o3o Thanks everybody!!!

So of course, nothing can just stay good, it has to always compound and get worse. My computer has decided that it's ready to die. The video card is on the blink and when it dies so does it's functionality with my tablet. As a result I've had to go ahead and replace it. I already have the replacement coming in so I shouldn't lose any stride (and I'm still working with my old one as long as it holds on) but this is the final nail in the coffin. The bulleted details are as follows:

-The computer's video card crashes and stops reading at random intervals, sometimes remaining down, sometimes bouncing back. I have explored the various software and driver options it COULD have been and alas none of them fixed the issue, that and the computer is specifically reporting issues with the card.
-I am working with my computer till the replacement comes, trying to get some patreon work and other things done first before I start into the things I have planned to make up my money lost on the new comp.
-THIS SHOULDN'T HOLD ME UP. I'm still moving at a clip, and I'm not asking for charity YET, I'm going to do so through a couple special events.

So what ARE those special events you may ask? Well I had them both planned for the future and I'm moving them up and changing them so hopefully people can help me replace my computer through them. I HATE asking for things without giving anything back, so I'm going to do two special events: An Animatic Growth Drive and a Charity Sketch Comm donation stream. Let me give the full details below:

Animatic Growth Drive
-It's going to be a series of pictures inspired by an animatic done by another artist I love, BackPainArt https://twitter.com/backpainart1/st.....86879568629765
-When finished, Suki will be transitioning between each stage via a hiccup, there will be light fun animation and effects, and sound! The full project will be lined with simple colours
-It will not just be a series of still images in sequence, but some slight movement to accentuate the growth and some wobbling, but only one image each (trying to push my tweening a bit here)
-Suki will be inflating in a Full Body 3B fashion (breast butt belly) emphasizing butt and breasts.
-The drive will happen on each site, working in the following way:
o Donations will be accepted through Ko-Fi, which makes donations in $3 intervals.
o For each $100 it will be another image in the sequence, more images means more size!
o After running for one Week, I will be counting all the Likes and Retweets it got on Twitter and be adding $1 value for every 5 RT's and 10 Likes!
o Additionally, I will be adding $1 value for every patron I have when it's done! These should ensure a good long sequence either way!
-THE DRIVE WILL BEGIN ONCE THE FINISHED FIRST IMAGE IS SUBMITTED, FOR NOW GO VOTE ON WHAT COSTUME SHE SHOULD WEAR AT THIS LINK: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/36238913/
Charity Sketch Comm Stream
-This will happen sometime next week once the growth drive's donation period is under way.
-It will be an all day stream where I will be doing sketch commissions to the tune of $25 for one char and $50 for two max.
-Any characters drawn require visual references, PLEASE HAVE YOUR STUFF READY TO GO WHEN YOU'RE CHOSEN.
-Slots will be raffled off after each one is done, I will be using the in-stream raffle function so you must be present to opt in each time.
-If you're chosen and don't reply within five minutes you will be passed over.
-I reserve the right to turn down any commissions I'm not comfortable with.
-Any patreon members that win a slot will get $5 off their purchase!
-ALL COMM PROCEEDS WILL BE GOING TO DIRECT RELIEF AS A MEANS OF HELPING WITH THE CORONA VIRUS EPIDEMIC. THIS part isn't for me.
-During the stream I will be encouraging people to purchase Ko-Fi's towards my donation drive, THAT part will help me. I will be shamelessly self promoting during it l3

SO! These are my two events that I'll be doing in the next week or so to try and make back the money for the computer I've bought. The last detail I'll provide here is the computer's information I purchased and why I got what I did:

-I purchased a new laptop because my lifestyle requires a fair bit of movement, I'm going around and doing a lot of things and my setup has to be able to follow me to at the least, different rooms of the house and different homes as I travel between my current house and my families house.
-As with most major technological purchases I have future-proofed it a fair amount, not buying the most expensive or highest end product, but trying to find a strong solid computer with a good insurance policy that should last me for many years (my current one is only dying in it's 8th year of use). As a result of these things I have chosen a model running close to $2000 after shipping and insurance on it.
-I have made this purchase already and it's coming to me within the week (hopefully)

So the TL:DR is this: I got a new computer, relatively expensive so I don't need another for a long time, will be doing some special events to make up the difference for it, and hope you'll all participate. Sorry for the BEVY of information in this journal, and sorry for any hiccups this does in my drawing schedule, but I shouldn't face any major conflicts and I'm trying to take this as a means of providing some more content to everybody <3 Take care!

My computer has broken again, in a new and fascinating way. The wifi connection fucks up at random fucking intervals demanding a disabling-reenabling of the driver itself to work. This was just a nuisance but now it's almost constant. I'm going to get it looked at, and purchase a very long ethernet cable. I'm not going to send it away until my patreon images and commissions are done though, it's not stopping me from working, just from streaming. What this means is basically:

-I'm not going to be streaming again for a little bit (until I get the ethernet cable, so hopefully in a day or two (my state just issued a stay at home order so this might impede me)).
-I will likely have to delay my personal projects a bit more once I send it away.
-I am going to start looking into a new computer to meet my needs, I will worry about that at a later time.

I'm so sorry, nothing ever goes my way and I apologize for the lack of consistent streams. Thank you all for understanding, I'm still gonna work hard as I can to get things done.

ADDENDUM:

The things it is NOT is the following:

-It's not a router issue
-it's not a bandwidth issue from the quarantine
-I don't know if it's hardware or software, but the fix suggests software to me

I AM PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT I AM ONCE AGAIN WITH MY COMPUTER! God I'm so happy, It's been difficult without my PC for the past month, but I've been learning the Ipad to the point that I can work RELATIVELY comfortably on it now (but not super efficiently XD) and have been turning out things on patreon in my down time :3 I'm pleased to say I have a LOT of things upcoming, and I want to lay out that which I'm currently working on, and tell what happened exactly. TL;DR's that I'm back with my Laptop, the keyboard's still messed up but it runs again, and I'm going to be focusing on finishing things in the following order: Patreon>Commissions>Collaborations>TMMS. Thank you for your patience and understanding through all of this! It's been rough DX

SO HERE'S THE DETAILS AND WHAT IT MEANS FOR EACH PART OF THIS PROCESS!

What happened to my computer:

The big issue is that the power in DC jack was messed up. The computer would no longer charge when plugged in and needed fixing. My computer had ALSO suffered water damage recently and certain keys and the touchpad no longer worked. I decided to try to get all these addressed around the 27th of January, and it was going to be out for about a week with geek squad (Probably my first mistake l3). A week and a half later, I was informed that my computer needed a new motherboard and wouldn't be able to be fixed. They gave it back to me after which I insisted that the power problem was the REAL issue, and the keys weren't crucial, so they tell me 'if you get this part and come back we can install it and you're good to go' and list the part specifically. I went and bought it and ordered expedited shipping, only to have the part take TWO WEEKS. I had a replacement part sent and got refunded for the shipping, and ordered another part on Ebay that was cheaper, only to finally get the FIRST part and then take it in. Three days later GS calls me saying 'this isn't the right part, you'll need to get this one instead' and give me ANOTHER listed part, this one being about $50 more than the first. So I go buy this thing, wait ANOTHER week and finally when it comes I take it in, now having the Ebay part too, and realizing the ebay part I got while waiting might have been the right part all along?! I take them both in and they try them both, the cheap part was NOT the right part (thank god) but the one they suggested was right. As of yesterday I have my computer back in it's working fashion, and I will have to keep looking for a replacement motherboard or someone who could fix the issues WITH my motherboard right now, but that's neither here nor there. In reality, I should look for a good PC soon, so I'll begin saving up for that.

What's Next for Drawing:

I have a LOT of things I've wanted to do this month and losing it when I did threw a huge spanner into my works. I have been trying to move forward as much as I could in the time being but it's still more limited than I would like. I'll go through the specifics of what I'm doing, but know that my priority is to my craft and I'm gonna be back on top of everything I owe after this month. Thank you all for your patience with me through this lame time, it won't be misplaced DX My Priorities are listed below, I'll be finishing up things in order:

Patreon images: All my patreon winning images from the last two months (and this one too) are my current priority. I will be getting the last two month's pics finished FIRST and try to get them up within the week! All of those pictures I did a lot of work on, getting their lines and flats done, so now I just need to colour and background them and they're finished! These will be posted as they're done so keep an eye out. After those four are done I'll be working on other steps and doing my other patreon drawings in kind, two more AWESOME images coming up this month!

Commissions: Once my 4 patreon images are finished and posted, my commissions will be top priority. I have 4 remaining from MFF that I feel AWFUL about waiting so long on DX It's not fair to you guys and all I can say is I'm sorry and I'm going to make them as absolutely amazing as I possibly can <3 This will probably be the brunt of my work this month between them and patreon.

Collaborations: I've been in talks with a few other talents to do some bigger projects, and I've not been able to move forward on them at all. I'm going to be working on these things after all my paid obligations are done, getting a number of images and writings done for those patient talented folks. I'm intensely eager to work on these things with everybody, I just have to take care of my responsibilities to those that support me first!

TMMS/Animations: These are at the bottom of the tree (apt for the roots that keep my sanity grounded XD). The next strip for TMMS and my next animation projects are the last things I'll be working on once all my other responsibilities have been addressed satisfactorily. In terms of numbers...I have about 10 images I'll be prioritizing the completion of before I even think about getting back into my own passion projects again :P Just know the following details: I have the next two comics for TMMS storyboarded in my sketchbooks already and I'm excited to make them happen, I want this CLIMAX, I will be allowing people to vote on a small animation project I'm going to do alongside of a bigger one I'm pulling together next, and they're both gonna be awesome (The vote is cause I can't decide WHICH one to work on first! XD) While I only list TMMS and Animations here, it's really a catchall for anything I WANT to do again. I'm sure I'll work in little sketches here and there still, but my focus is going to be my responsibilities first and foremost!

My computer that I do all my work from has broken. I will give a tl;dr here and the details in the rest of the thread, thanks for reading:

tl;dr
-My laptop that I do all my work from has a burnt out battery and now the AC port is failing. It's going into the shop.
-I have an Ipad I bought that I will be learning to draw on and trying to make work happen on, but a learning process isn't what I need right now
-I ALSO have problems with my car that I need to get fixed, putting my finances and time in strain right now
-I do NOT NEED MONEY.
-I will be working as hard as I can to acclimate to my current drawing situation and trying to get back in the swing of things, I just need patience and understanding.

Full outline:

-Computer: My computer has had a burnt out battery for a long time, it's internal and the fix was a financial investment I didn't need. As long as it could stay plugged in, it was fine (I Do all my work from a laptop). Unfortunately, recently I have been having an issue of the plug as well; the connector port from my power source to the laptop is only working in VERY specific positions, and that's no bueno. The laptop cuts off with no warning if the powercord is lost and I can't keep working on a time bomb like that. As a result of this I'm taking it in to get repaired and that means it will be out of my hands for a good long time. I can't say for sure how long at this time. However, I DO have an Ipad that I purchased last year and have been putting off trying to get to know, well it's time to learn I'd say l3 I'm gonna practice on my new device and try to get my work up to snuff as fast as I can, worst I'll do is a WHOLE buncha sketching l3 This does likely mean that I won't be streaming for a long time, though.

-Car: I have also been beset with car problems, my brakes are sticking and I'm not sure why. I'm going to take it into the shop tomorrow as well, limiting my transportation until that's fixed. You know what they say, when it rains it pours. This will compound with my financial situation from my computer and may limit me depending on what the final bills are looking like l3 I will have to see.

So what does this all mean?

Essentially I'll be VERY slow in getting work done, and if I can't muster art that I feel is up to my standards, then finishing work such as my commissions, animations, patreon images and trades will have to take a back seat while I learn my new device or even potentially until I get my laptop back from the shop. I'll still be doing everything I can to make sure I'm moving forward, and if that means I'm doing more rough work than finished work for now then so be it. I hope this is not the case for long and will keep people apprised of my situation as much as possible, but the main point here in all of this is this:

-I'm going to be a bit delayed, and I'm so sorry for that. Please bear with me, I will be back to normal posting schedules soon.

Man what a month it was. So busy, so many things to do, so much to pull together. Oh my god...What can I even say about this weekend except that it was absolutely beyond any expectation I'd ever had. I spent the weekend laughing, drawing, and talking with some of the best people I've ever gotten to spend time with, met COUNTLESS people that I honour and respect, and got to do dozens of trades with many amazing people! I was commissioned left and right by tons of awesome folks and sold LOTS of swag from my table, even selling out of my first print ever! I have to apologize in advance if I don't mention you here, it's honestly daunting to remember all the people I spent time with this weekend.

So for starts, my roommates. I roomed this weekend with  sydak,  orikomi,  deonwolf.  konicoon, and  jaeh All of whom are LOVELY people! I couldn't have asked for a better group, this was my second year with most of them and they're hilarious, fun, engaging and outgoing (mostly! XD) Koni was new to our group this year and he was a sweet guy with a great sense of humour, which he no doubt got from Ori who is as nuts and fun as he ever was! Deon was funny and laughing whenever he wasn't hiding away from drawing on paper (PICK UP YO CARBONS AND DRAW, SON.) and Sydak was kind, funny, and generous to a fault! Jaeh of course is one of my best friends, and getting to spend any protracted amount of time together is a fucking gift and a half. With these guys as roommates and often dinner buddies the fun really never stopped.

Chief amongst those I met this year was  taranima who I got to spend most of my time with laughing, drawing, talking, teasing, gaming, etc etc. They may be new to the scene but they're impressive people both in skill and personality, and I felt legitimately gifted to get to hang out with them. I think we became fast friends and I can already call them amongst my closer friends. They're truly lovely people!

The line this year to prereg was INSANE. It was rather hilarious but it meant I got to spend time talking with konicoon, then singing along to someone djing in the middle of it, then DJ it myself towards the end! I ran into many more awesome people there, getting to say brief hello's to a couple people I spent more in depth time with later! Ultimately the line was a blast of laughs and music that turned something that could have been a drag into a fun time :3

The artists Alley was awesome, I got set up right next to AltusSomnus the first day with whom laughter is guaranteed, and drew with him, jaeh and others! On the second day I was drawing next to  leonkatlovre and Tara with  badgerben and  blyzzarde there as well, all of whom were SUPER fun and friendly as I've come to know them, and leon himself was hilarious and friendly and I was super happy to get to know him better! On the third day I was drawing in between Jaeh and Anima, and being with both of them really solidified how amazing a weekend it had been, that two of my best friends and I could get to be there with one another. I may pale in terms of their quality and notoriety but being amongst them was an honour all the same <3

At the alley I met SO many people who loved my work, I can't barely keep up with them all. But to name a few, it was awesome meeting  huskier, jack burton and his gigantic crew of awesome people,  longcriercat,  theycallhimcake and SO many others. There were even moments where EXTREMELY TALENTED PEOPLE came up to me telling me they liked my work like  jinash and  crunchobar which just blew my mind to FUCKING PIECES. I'm so honoured and want to keep producing EVEN MORE AMAZING WORK FOR YOU ALL!!!

After the alley days of course I spent time drawing with my friends and getting to meet more and more amazing people. I got to spend time with and draw for  daigo and meet his lovely girlfriend  tomomifox95 and his other friends, meet the AMAZINGLY KIND, FUN, AND AWESOME HornyMustardXXX (twitter) who was just all around an incredible person, the talented and funny  theboris who I was lucky enough to do a small trade with, the friendly and kind  bose who I WISH I'd gotten to spend more time with D:,  nargleflex who is as funny and friendly as ever,  titsunekitsune who is WAY TOO NICE AND DAMMIT WE DIDN'T GET TO TRADE DX,  sketchygenet who is paramount nice and dammit why didn't we get to hang out more either DX,  nekocrispy who is a super sweet dude and really fun to hang out with and game with, and literally way too many more people to even begin to keep track of. Each night there were HUGE GROUPS of amazing size artists and even more than I had known before that I didn't get to meet properly and spend time with D:

Of course I got to see a bunch of friends from previous years and spend time with them again such as Roizenacht and Keijimatsu,  iko.  ryoku7,  gravewalker,  gillpanda,  herro,  cheeki and  tsukiyo- all of whom I got to see more of than I had in previous years and I was thrilled for every moment of it! I even got to embarass myself in front of many talented artists that I respect and revere such as  mr.pink, grinder, sukebepanda, and buxbi! If none of them ever want to talk to me again I wouldn't begrudge them! XD Nah they were all really nice and I hope I wasn't too awkward :P

After the AA each day there were countless amazing foods, but I regret deeply missing out on restaurants such as the Hofbrauhaus and Sugar Factory, definitely gonna make time for those next year! But we did get to go to Mitsuwa a LOT and indulge in many awesome japanese cuisines. Additionally, the Galloping Ghost was a SUPER awesome gigantic arcade that had hundreds of games including myriad rarer ones! it was beyond the pale how good all of these were, and I had a blast at each.

On the last day of the con, I spent it downstairs drawing, laughing, and hanging with many amazing people, doing trades and telling jokes and meeting new people. I was lucky enough to meet and chat up padunk and swiftjames who are amazingly fun people and I'm thrilled to have gotten to know them! I hope we can keep in touch because they're a vivacious and funny couple! Not to mention getting to bother iko, byzzarde and others for sketch trades! :D MAN it was a blast. And my final day was just as good, getting to go to the aforementioned mitsuwa and gallping ghost again but with Tsukiyo and Cheeki this time, and capping it off with some karaoke at a mexican restaurant near us late at night! I do love singing X3

All in all, for everybody I've mentioned here there are as many as I met that I didn't get to list, and even MORE that I didn't get to meet but would have loved to! I'm so sorry if I've not mentioned you here but believe me I'm still very much reeling from all the amazing people and times I met and had this weekend, and if we spent time together I'm thrilled that I got to do so and meet people from my communities and groups...I've not had a con go by recently that when I left I was fighting tears, but this time around I was choked up so hard that I needed to take a moment before getting on that plane. I can't wait for next year and I hope I get to see you all again soon ;3;

So, about half a year ago as of yesterday, a special day passed for me. My birthday! Oh my gosh I had such a nice time, went and got sushi with friends, had a great night of gaming and hangout, etc etc. I came on here and had tons of lovely gifts in the forms of pics and stories (which honestly make my day more than most physical gifts ever could) and I was feeling extremely good!

Then two days later, I was thrown out of my house.

In a huge stupid fight between my mom and I that culminated in me knowing I couldn't live there anymore even before I was told to get out. Well it marked a huge change in my life, turning my art into a career that I could sustain myself off of. In the coming months I lived with friends while looking for a place to live, and slowly but surely managed to use this bad instance as the fire under my butt to get me on my own feet.

It's not been the easiest time since then, but I'm in a good situation with a good friend and a lovely home now, and I've been working very hard to ensure that happens. It's meant many long days and TONS of work but it's been justified, improving, and encouraging. Now more than ever do I want to do larger projects, and really contribute more to the community than pinups. My comics, animations, and games that have been so long on the backburner are finally coming up into my fore again as I find a semblance of balance in my new work life.

I can't thank every one of you enough for any kind of support you've given me, whether it be financial, artistic, or even just a comment or a fave. Every bit of this has helped me make something for myself and while it might be small now it has a TON of room to grow and I intend to grow both it and myself in ways I've only dreamt of.

However this also means that I've had a PILE of gifts sitting around over the last year from that time that I never commented on, in spite of reading or viewing them! D: I'm a right tosser for it, and I want to publicly thank you all for drawing me ANYTHING much less a lovely birthday gift! So let me put them all in this journal as a big thank you alongside my individual ones!
