I had a baby!

I ended up with high blood pressure and got induced a week early. I have have a 2 week old baby. Her name is Tallulah Mae.
I have a traumatic birth experience unfortunately. I had higher than average blood pressure readings for the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy so at my 39 week appointment my OB told me to get induced the next day. Plus I was already dialed to 3cm.
I went in at 730am and was already dilated 4cm. They hooked me up to pitocine around 9am. By noon I was at 5cm. And I was having mild contractions but I didn't really feel them if I'm being honest.
By 6pm I was only at 6cm, so we got ready to break my water and speed things up. I want to say around 615pm is when they broke my water. Then things for real. The contractions were awful. And I did not want the epidural but it was bad so I begged for it. But I felt the urge to push. They told me I was at 6.5cm and I couldn't push. Like 20min later they were getting the epidural ready and someone checked me and I was dialed to 10cm! No epidural I had to start pushing. This was around 8pm.
I have no idea how but I pushed for 4hrs straight. Apparently the last 2hrs my baby was stuck going in and out and I legit had no energy left. One of the OBs told me they were going to get the Vacuum out. Which I was fine with. But the main OB of the hospital intervened and told me I had to have a c-section. which I was more afraid of than the epidural. I wanted the vacuum but she proceeded to scare me into getting the c-section. Told me she would breaks my babies shoulder using the vacuum, or cause severe mental retardation. I knew in my head that wasn't true, because I was vacuumed out and I know several other babies too. But I was so scared of losing my baby I signed the C-section paperwork and got prepped for a C-section.
Someone just finished up in the OR so it took a good 45mins to get ready. Of course the contractions didn't stop, I was still pushing just not as aggressively with my doulas and cousins hold my legs up and me puting physical and mental strain on myself. The main OR team came in and said in about 15mins they would come in and get me. Well I suddenly felt s pop. No doctor's or nurses were in the room, just my mom, my dad and my two doulas. I yelled that I thought the babies head was out and well it was. A couple more pushes and my baby was out! She came out with her damn hand on her face so her fat head and hand were was she was stuck.
Unfortunately this meant that I tore, really bad. The Ob who scared me earlier was the one to stitch me up, and she was really rude about that. Told me I had the worst 3rd degree tear she had every seen. Well that was because it was actually a 4th degree tear that she did not check for.
Meaning she did not sew me up all the way, causing me to have what I'd called a Fistula, connecting my front end to my back end. Pooping is now chaos. And I can't get the surgery to fix it for another 3 months.
So not only an I now navigating having a newborn, but living in a constant fear of pooping, and needing someone to help me watch the bay if I need to go to the bathroom because it can take up to 45mins to cleans myself up. Oh and my rectum wasn't sewn properly to so sometimes, I don't even know I'm going to the bathroom. It's all fun.
Now I have to be on disability for the foreseeable future and take my family leave after I've healed because it interferes with bonding time with my newborn, which is what family leave is.
Regardless I'm healing, baby is perfect. And we have a little routine going.
That being said also, I am open to commission and have time between naps and feedings to get them done if you would like to support me and help me make money while I cannot work.

Tbh I have been extremely fatigued. Bring pregnant I'd not for the weak (it's me I'm weak).
I'm now 29 week pregnant! I'm in the third and final trimester.
I have been working 2 jobs recently and I'm beat. Both these jobs require a lot that I can no longer do. My morning job requires me to drive around a lot and because I'm short I have had to recently move my seat in my car, causing my legs to stretch a lot more than usual. I'm in a lot of pain because of this. My second job is working with after school kids. So I'm walking, sitting/standing, bending, squatting, picking up things off the floor, etc.
Because of my history with back pain and weak immune system (I've been on several rounds of antibiotics and got a million different viruses from the kids) I'm going on early disability.
Last week was my last week with my morning job and this week will be my last week with after school.
I'll be more available for commissions coming up (plus I need to make up the money I'll be loosing being on disability)
I'm hoping to draw more soon, so stay tuned!
I'm also planning to make a coloring book and publish it on KDP so look out for that too

I had left because all my focus was on Artfight!
And thennnnnnn I did something crazy
Long story short
I'm pregnant!!!!

I had a ton of drama happening at work. I got moved from the babyroom. There was a lot of things that happened behind the scenes. For now I'm running around the preschool floor and it's so exhausting. So on top of being more focused on art fight last month, I also have been running around like a mad man.
As for the pregnancy
I have been for a while now using an app. Let's say it's like Tender but instead of being for hook ups it's to look for people who are willing to donate to people in order to have a baby. If you wanna be a surrogate, donate your eggs, sperm, ECT.
And I met with someone and I did the classic turkey baster method. And it worked! It freaking worked? Holy hell it worked!
I'm currently going on only 5 weeks pregnant.
So from now on, I'm going to be focusing on getting commissions done to start saving up for this baby!
Once I get closer to the due date, around April, I'll be doing pay what you can commissions where you can buy things off my baby registry! Mostly because by that point I'll have a gender, probably have a baby shower and get some of the things off the list. So it will be either extra or stuff I don't have yet.

Unfortunately I've been awake for over 24hrs with no way to go to sleep until after work 🥱
At the same time, I've somehow hyucked up the matte screen protector on my iPad
So trying to draw is like running your fingers on a chalk board 🫠
And drawing without the protector will damage the screen because I use a metal tip on my apple pencil.....
Thankfully, because it was my brother's birthday, my mom paid me to do errands for her, so I was able to buy a new one
On top of you know, needing sleep because I have to wake up at 3am again tomorrow.... Imma take a day, a pause, from drawing
But it should be here tomorrow! So I'll be back at it again!!!
I also ordered melatonin drops to maybe help regulate my sleep because I've been doing a whole lot of not actually sleeping again.... The insomnia is rough
Now then, imma try to not fall asleep at nap time at the daycare with the air nice and cold, the taylor swift method playlist playing, and in a dark dark room 🥱

General | Posted a year agoUghhh so I’ve gotten pretty busy. I’m taking on extra babysitting until I can pay for a new AC in my car. I’m gaining no traction for commissions on here
Mondays I babysit before work at 4am until 8am, when I drop them off at daycare or with another family member then work 830 till 530. This family lives 20mins away and the location I drop off the kids is 30mins away too…
Tuesday - Friday is the same but for kids that go to my school so I’m babysitting them at 6am until I take them to work with me and then work 830 to 530
Wednesday is the only day I don’t have something going on after work besides Mondays but I am on call to babysit any of my other family’s
Thursdays I babysit the first family for weekly date nights from 6pm until midnights
Friday nights I’m usually babysitting for my coworker and her 5kids ages 1 to 6.
Saturday and Sunday I have that same family from 330am until 7am then I’m on call to babysit another family from 9am until 12am.
I do want to find more time to work on art and try and gain more commissions. I have Insomnia on top of this crazy schedule so I’m typically awake after all this. I get maybe 4hrs of sleep. And im not going to lie, I’m too nice. While I am a professional in childcare, I tend to charge like 50$ or under so in the long run I’m not making much extra….
But I’m trying. I’m going to get out of debt, which I pay 250 a month for to a debt consolidation place, and I’m 2yrs away from being done…. Then trying to save up enough to get my ac fixed which again should be around 1000 to 1500

Unfortunately my Ac in my car is broken 😞
And it gets up to 115 in the summer here…. It’s been like 105 recently and even the 3min drive to and from work is killing me
The repair guy told me in need an entirely new ac unit and the cheapest quote was around 1000….. I have no savings, all my money goes to my bills
I am working on getting a second job on top of my 40hr a week job and 10+ hrs of babysitting I do on the side to help but I figured drawing can be another income source
Again I can typically get a commission done within a day if not a few hours.

General | Posted 12 years agoI'm new to this site and it's really confusing to me. I'm use to DeviantArt, and I'm not switching from there to here, I just want to be active as a furry here and do my normal thing on DA.
There's a few questions I have. Like what's a shout and can I reply?
Is there a way to group pictures by person like on DeviantART?
That's all the questions I have for the site and now I have a few furry questions.
Like
What looks the best, hair the same color as fur or same color as markings? Ex/ tails from sonic has hair tuffs vs Sally from song who has actual hair. I like hair but it seems difficult to draw the ears?
When looking into getting a fursuit, should I go partial so I can wear clothes? If so how partial? Like should I do pants arms feet paws head and tail or? What's the most comfortable.
Any tips on drawing anthro? I am okay at it but I know I need improvement. I can't draw humans to save my life, but animals are easy. I usually have a chibi style, you can see from my post on DA.
How is a diaper studied to draw? I can't just go borrowing a diaper from one of my preschoolers and I feel it would be very wrong of me to try and study one of the children in a diaper, that just isn't right. I feel like my diapers are draw poorly and I could improve but have no idea how
