So basically it'll be like the camp crystal lake meets, people bring munchies, pop, what have you, but to my house. I think we should keep it the same same time, maybe aim more towards 5ish. My house isn't hard to get to, my address is 305 Willow Drive SW St. Michael, MN 55376. I would just tell people to call me at 763-843-3766 when they get to the St. Michael exit. I can start up a bon fire, suits are welcome and encouraged, if not, bring some coats or something, if people get cold I can heat up the garage or we can just come inside and play 360 or something. I'm not sure what else needs to be said, if people have questions, send them my way =^^=

This is for  Kisa-chan's meet at her house this Friday.

Well the last meet we had was a bust because of the miserable weather. I'm scheduling a meet for this Friday at Crystal Lake Beach in Burnsville, just off of Lac Lavon.

The meet will run from 4:00 to whenever people want to go home. Bringing grillable food items would be preferable, as well as some entertainment. (I've been trying to get people to bring bubble soap :P)

P.S. I'm planning on doing some kind of fundraiser to get the magician/hypnotist K. C. Braun to appear. :3

As for a time... It's a Saturday, and I don't think mom'll be home.
Sister should be out with friends.
So, whatever time you want to have people show up is fine.
I'm usually not awake until noon, so NOT before that.

And as for what time to leave, anyone that comes is welcome to stay as late as they like.
But the noise level will have to drop after midnight.

Now I gotta get crackin on cleaning the basement and rearranging everything so people will fit.
Also, have people bring things like snacks and treats if they want to eat, cuz I'm poor and don't have anything.
Got a stereo system so if they want to bring CDs, we can do that.
Even have a Karaoke Machine that I THINK works. Not sure though.
And if anyone has any multi-player Wii games, have them bring them, I have the system and four motes, just no multi-player games.

As for parking, it's a BIG driveway, you just can't block the right side door, that's where mom's car goes, so if anyone comes, park on the left hand side closer to the actual house.
If the driveway fills up, cars CAN park on the road.
Hell, it's a gravel road, and it's rarely used, we ARE the last house on the road.

On Halloween we want to have a party. But there's one thing we're missing which we desparately need. Space!

The best idea that Kiba has is to use someone's basement, if anyone with a big enough basement would be kind enoug to let us use it.

Justice came up with the idea of renting out Maplewood theatre at three dollars a person.

If anyone else can come up with anything useful, please oh please comment and let us know so we can make this thing happen!

So tomorrows meet is canceled since a lot of you said you can't show up, and Kiba is sick (This is Pepper by the way, filling in for Kiba at the moment.) My suggestion is that we all try and go to Saturdays Perkins meet, which the other group has going this weekend. How does that sound to all of you?

Well I think it's finally time we had a meet at the Mall of America and explore its grand interior. No fursuits are allowed in, unfortunately, but we can still have fun without them.

We could meet in the Nickelodeon Universe and team up there, only because it's the easiest place to find... >_>

If you're strapped on cash, eat a big meal before coming.

Due to the picnic this Saturday in St. Paul, the regularly scheduled Friday meets at Crystal Lake Beach are canceled this week. Don't worry, it's only because most people can't make both trips on the same weekend.

As to better show off our fellow Minnesota members furry side, to connect them better with a common interface, and to help out or Minnesotan artisans and fursuiters. I was thinking that we could have our members give me a character sheet or artwork (No X rated stuff NC-17 fine) showing there character (Pictures are welcomed if your fursuit) and underneath we can list your FA site, profile if you wish of your character or self, your site (if you have one), if you do commissions, and the link to the person who did the artwork (if you did not do it yourself).

Justice, at the last meet, gave me some crucial advice on whether or not we should do something artsy. I've been procrastinating on this for a while.... but a recent post from Renton Whitetail has made me decide to hurry things up D:

I heard that FA is in the process of banning groups... I don't know why, but it leaves me indignant. I mean I finally started something constructive and Dragoneer and Co. just HAVE to come stomping in and knocking our building blocks over just as our little block-house was starting to look good. I mean I had some good ideas for our group! Seriously!  justicewolf was giving me good ideas all over the place and I may not even be able to execute any of them because there will BE no more MinnesotaFurs! T-T

EDIT: I was informed by  renton_whitetail that the big bad mods aren't bringing their bahnhamur of death down on us any time soon. They're saving it for those groups that are there just for the icon.
