If anyone has nothing to do on this Saturday (September 19th) the Apple Valley Fire Department has their Booya & Bingo thing going on from 11 up until they are sold out. Kiba and I will be there, Although I'm not certain for how long. It is at the fire station #1 (County Road 42 & Hayes Road) And so it is relatively easy to get to.... Uhm... Yeah... So I guess that's really it... There is food (Booya [like chili], usually chili, hot dogs, I think there may have been pizza last year, and a bunch of candy/snack foods, as well as a bake sale), games of chance, bingo, and.... uhm.... people, there are usually LOTS of people. So feel free to stop by if you're open, It should be going for a while (I think last year it went until around 4 or 5pm).

We had more people come this week than I could have hoped for :3

 justicewolf was the first to show up... I was at a friend's house this time who lived right across the street, giving them an invitation. Justice brought stuff to make smores :D

Rob, Patrick and Will showed up too. Then  H-Dub arrived with  kadjet (our GRILLMASTER!!) and  drakowolf in tow. They had the brats this time... no burgers like we thought there were gonna be D:

A friend from school, Herman, showed up as well.

 Nauta showed up next and hung out for a bit when  kawaiixteddy showed up with her -amazing- homemade suit :D
(Seriously, I fawned over it >_>)

 tabris9909 and his driver, Cole, were the next to come. They were cool too :3

Finally  circuitwolf showed up and we had a full party! :D

Oh yeah, before I forget,  thewoebegonejackal showed up at the end as we were leaving. He didn't miss much x3

....there was an incident in which my brother got mad at someone for being better than him and then started yelling at me, causing quite a bit of drama. (God knows we need more of that -_-) He won't be coming to the future meets. You're safe. x_x

We got a suprise visit from Bryton, another friend from shcool and a fur in the making XD He decided he wants to be an arctic fox. ^^

All things considered it went pretty smoothly! :D

Someone took the bag that I'd brought my chips and dip with... it had a couple of chocolate bars and a bag of marshmallows in it. I think I know who it was and why they took it. The stuff in the bag belonged to them but the bag was mine D: I didn't have anything to carry my stuff home in. XD Oh well, it doesn't matter. I managed without it.

Final word: It was awesome and better than I could have hoped! :D
...though not as good as it COULD have been :P (Speaking of the drama x3)

Every Friday from 5:00 to 10:00 (Both are PMs) at Crystal Lake Beach in Burnsville by Lac Lavon.

I'm reminding you all because I need to get a census of who all is attending and what foods/entertainment each person is going to bring.

Kadjet, one of our grillmasters, is bringing charcoal, lighter fluid, stuff to clean the grill, and a lighter.

We need to know who's bringing food, music, games, anything :3

Okay, well it wasn't a HUGE success. But it wasn't exactly a small one, either. I showed up about a half hour early to wait for the furs to arrive... I rode my bike :P

Anyway, when I got there,
 nauta was there waiting for me in his Weasel, the trunk full of hotdogs and sodas and chips all in a cooler.

 photosis showed up to join the party next... we sat around and waited for about an hour XD

I went to a friend's house while we were waiting (He literally lives right there on the lakeside) and invited him to come and party with us...

Next,  h-dub showed up with  kadjet and  pretzel in tow.
We lit up the grill... well Kadjet lit up the grill, earning himself the title of Grillmaster (Probably not for the first time. He's got experience :P) among us.

While we were eating we got a visit from  circuitwolf who brought the entertainment for the night, performing on his drum box and a couple of keyboards. (One of them had no batteries and the other refused to stay turned on.)

Anyway, we all had a good time, despite a few... uhh... occurences... (my brother showed up... Meeeeeeeh! He always does his best to make me look bad in front of my friends... odd that I invited him Dx)

I believe Nauta got most of it on tape and took some pictures, so we have a few memoirs of our first successful meet :D

I've decided that next week it would be best to move the meet to 5:00 instead of 6:00 to give you all a larger window to show up. Also the meets will be every Friday at the same place from now on. I'll give you a journal update on the days something's going down that you need to know about.

Okay, so the Garage just really isn't that great of a place to meet. It's loud, the music sucks, it's crowded, and most of all not everyone can afford it.

So maybe, if enough people agree, we can all meet at this little place called Crystal Lake Beach. Like the Garage, this location is in Burnsville.

Unlike the Garage, it's serene, quiet, and open to anyone. You can bring food, grill, play frisbee (or any other lawn game), have a picnic, and even wear your suits.

It is in a residential area, (mine, actually :P) so no drugs/alcohol are permitted, neither are loud boomboxes/subwoofers that would disturb people.

It's not official yet. I just wanted to hear what you all think.

The Garage is gonna be closed the 28th and 29th. Sorry. 3:

AN IMPORTANT RULE!!
Once you've purchased admission, DO NOT go outside unless you intend to STAY OUTSIDE for the remainder of the night, unless you want to pay your way in again. Once you leave through the door they'll make you pay again to come in. This is their house rule to keep people from bringing in narcotics and other such nasty things like alcohol or drugs. Just don't do it. If you're coming with your suit, make sure you have a way to cool down without going outside.

For those of you who don't know: The Garage is a small teen center with an occasional open mic night. It's also a venue for artists and musicians to come and perform. It can get pretty loud in there, but there is a quiet room in the front where you can chill and surf the web on their interwebz and play pool.
There's a snack stand that usually serves pizzas as well, and two vending machines.

Above all, play nice. :3

Yeah, so you can wear your suits to the Garage if you want! :D

So for next time, keep that in mind, suit owners. :3

Okay, guys. And girls. I think it's about time we had a meetup somewhere.


I'm thinking we meet at the Garage, which is like a rave. I say -like- a rave because it's not as hardcore. It's five dollar admittance on most nights. Sometimes it's eight or ten dollars, depending on who's playing.

I don't know the address to the place quite yet, and I'm not sure what date it should be. (I'm thinking next Friday/Saturday)

I'll tell you when I find out these things. Until then, go be furry in MN <3
