Yeay, Glad to have my dog back!...Snowball is doing well ....looks kinda funny with part of her head shaved.....thanks to those who helped with the vet bill and to those who have said that they are going to when they can....the total bill was $237...ouch...but I managed to scrape up enough to pay it with help from friends....some of the moneys..ok most of the moneys I'll have to pay back..and soon, but at least Snowy is home and happy once again.

Well, I'm sad now...I had to leave my beautiful pyrenees at the vet for surgery on her ear. She has a hemotoma (sp?) in her left ear flap....poor thing swelled up like a balloon. She has to stay at the vets until Thursday. Going to be expensive and while I don't like asking for charity and i can't offer commissions because I can't draw, if anyone can and would like to help out please send me a note and I'll give you my paypal info so you can help. Sorry to be a little begger, but bills have all come due at once and quite frankly right now I've only got $20 in my account....vet says this will cost $200 plus antibiotics

For those who don't know, I live in Northwest Alabama and here we don't often get pleasant weather in August....but this year has been weird, once in July we had 2 days in a row that were sunny and temps in the 70's most of the day and now again its absolutely great weather. I opened the windows yesterday because its was only 77F at 3pm....well I forgot about the windows being open and woke up to a house that was 59F inside...and still only up to 67 now. I hate hot weather, so living in the south sucks for me most of the time, but ever now and then God must feel sorry for me and sends a cool breeze down my way. Was 55F outside this morning....lot better than that normal around 70...and the high is supposed to be in the 70's....lot better than the more common 90's... Wooot! Anyone else here use a VPN to "cover your tracks" on the internet? Just wondering. Lots of people I know, especially those downloading illegal torrents are using them now. Not trying to be too nosy, but if you do use one do tell which one and why...ok?

I just got a new ISP that promised to be better than satellite internet and well...it is faster and some things work better like my utorrent, but I've noticed some period...ok frequent freezes in the data streams causing web errors....very irritating in online games that ironically I couldn't play at all with the satellite because of the lag time. Is there no justice in the internet world....I mean really I just got a microwave transmitter installed on my tower so that I could get fixed point wireless internet here and well now I get random freezes like they just forgot I was loading a web page or something...so I hit refresh again...and again...and again.... so I have written them an e-mail asking what the hell man....anyway.. anyone else have experience with this wireless crap...is there something I can change in my internet settings that will help out?
